This message means a lot to me. I’ve been doing my degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at UWI as well, and in my second year, same tragedy happened. I got followed at University and as a person who is very sheltered, It really shook me up. And doing an internship at a law office as well, My spirit felt so compromised. The profession truly didn’t resonate with me. My parents we’re so upset that I decided to quit on Law. I’ve been following my passion which is Business ever since and i feel so aligned with myself, best decision i could’ve make for myself 🙏🏼 So thank you for your message queen. You’re truly doing what you’re meant to do and being where you’re appreciated and belong 🙏🏼
Gabrielle Clarke thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your own truth and reality with me. These are the things that textbooks don’t teach you so I’m happy that in the end you were able to make a decision that works for you and your mental health! Keep going bravely! Thanks so much for watching 🙏🏾❤️🚀🔥
this video resonates so deeply! I believe a lot more people needs to hear this - it has such a beautiful message that can be applied across the board! thank you for being so open and vulnerable for sharing this
Barbara B you’re so welcome Barbara! Thank you for watching the video and resonating with my story! Wishing you bravery as you journey through your heart’s pursuits! 💕💕
This video meant something a little more different for me than maybe what you intended but it was still very insightful. It’s really reassuring to know that even after bouts of tragedy and uncertainty in one’s career, that’s not the end of it and that once you put yourself and your needs first, that’s what will carry you through. Like I’ve always had anxiety about what it’s be like entering my field of choice with regards to a career and maybe deviating from a part set by others for me, or even from a path that I thought was good for myself. This vides really hit me hard and I’m glad that even after all you’ve been through you were able to find something that not only was you calling but also something that clearly has you in a better state mentally as compared to previously. Hope you have an amazing day/night!
Celeste Nottingham thank you for sharing your thoughts and fears with me! I relate with everything you said. Honestly, uncertainty characterises life. We never know what tomorrow or even the next 5 mins will bring but we must have good intentions and prepare to live a good life. It took me a while to really find my footing again (4years!) but it’s a choice I don’t regret. I wish you so much bravery and clarity as you go forth in your own desires! Thank you for watching 💞
@@aixaedwards6106 Aww thanks so much Aixa! I receive that and receive your blessings for Alphastute. It's been an enjoyable road and hope the same for you as you go forth in your pursuits!
The profession can be very wicked !!!!********Many poor unfortunate innocent people have been unfairly judged and sent to prison and having their lives destroyed forever on earth !!!
Do criminal lawyers in Trinidad make good money? Where I’m from (also in the Caribbean) criminal lawyers don’t make much. We usually have to get lawyers from outside because locals don’t want to work for so little money and prefer corporate law.
Hey Shelly❤️ I’m a follower from Instagram! I appreciate you so much for the content you put out! I’m very curious on how to invest in myself as a young Caribbean woman! Especially when you KNOW you have so much talent and potential to create beautiful things. In your opinion do you think it’s necessary to stay single while you are building yourself and your brand? It is so often that us women put our partner first and on a pedestal but neglect our own needs and our wants for ourselves and for our future separate from a man in our life. I guess I’m just curious how you learned to still excel in personal development and if you think it’s possible to do so even while dating? I hope I’m making sense! Glad I found your platforms! You’ve been so helpful for my self confidence and my desire to live out all my potential❤️❤️ May God bless you abundantly 💕💕
It's probably because you either did not have an actual picture of yourself on IG which makes it difficult to ascertain if you are a real person or if we have engaged there may have been a breach of my standards for engagement. Hope you understand. 🙏🏾
