I didn't have such luck unfortunately. Don't know if it's the ammo or the gun but I shot both Hornady and federal out of and couldn't make it through 15 rounds without jamming once. My guess is a bad spring or something but fuck if I know.
I just got my 715p and it jammed on the first shot, then the second, and third ..i was using Aguila 40gr .. thinking ill have to send it into mossberg..😒
Take the mag apart..files the molding burrs off the poly and reinstall the loading assist first..put the 2 springs together and the follower last..They make a brace adaptor for it..I'm going to install a UTG folding adaptor and a brace..just watch your overall brace length..Its a 701 with an extended mag..it has the ambidextrous mag release but you can't get to it because of the molding..
@@HeavyMetalGuns Thank you for replying! I am new and was wondering when possible you actually show us how to clear these failures as they actually occur with this mossberg 715 p. God bless
Needs broke in ,that's all. A friend of mine has one of those M&P 22 rifles that look like an AR, I can't remember if the mag is 20 or 25 but you can't get it full either. It could be the mags needing the break in. Either way ,like you said just shoot the crap out of it and she'll smooth right out. Real neat pistols !! I Enjoyed seeing another, Thank You Sir!!
Now that it’s been a year what would you say is the best brand and or grain of bullet for this gun? I’ve heard people say the lower the grain the less likely to jam I just bought one today
Is there a magazine option better then the one that comes with the Mossberg 715P... is a drum model available or recommended that would fit or replace the crappy clip whatever that is it comes with?
@@HeavyMetalGuns it's to bad, the gun is a good little toy... but the mags are trash. Can I substitute any .22LR mags from any other gun to sub? I bought 715T mags and they to click lock in, and you cant even find 715P mags. Any help is helpful, but I understand the struggle. Thanks for the reply.

HMG&O: Some of the gun channels out there paint a flowery picture of guns, if you know what I mean. Mishaps do occur, but if they are always edited out, the "keyboard warriors" end up believing that guns don't malfunction, and that's pretty bad in my book. Nahhh. I ran about 200 CCI rounds thru mine yesterday. It jammed once. Also, I find it easier to load 25 + 1 by pressing down on the very back end of the round into the magazine so that the nose of the round is angled upward. If you load your magazine any other way you will have difficulty after about the 16th round. The way this magazine is set up the nose of the ammo tends to dip forward and that causes problems loading the mag.
This gun is PURE GARBAGE... the mag broke in half The 1st day at the range. After firing a total of 20 rounds after 6 jams I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS TO ANYONE
I just ran 200 rounds of Aguila (38 gr) with my 715P today with no malfunctions brand new out the box

Cant find it on anysite
Hard to find now.
Picked one up today from sportsman’s warehouse. Was 299 with a red dot and a 555 round Winchester bulk pack.
I am trying to find a high capacity drum for mine. Have you crossed any?
I have not,but it would be cool to have a 100 round drum.
Can you do a video on how to fix the errors like failure to feed failiure to eject failiure to chamber for the mosberg 715 p
I am out of them right now,but I would do a good clean, polish the feed ramp, and try different brands of ammo.
