this is an amazing tutorial, not only for software but just a good refresher on the fundamentals of animation. i loved the trick u did with the hair and the wave
you are a very professional and humble, well educated animator! I knew most of the techniques you have used , but still it was amazing to watch, I loved it! thanks
You can literally draw one character and make them move in only after effects. You have a lot of masking and tweaking to do or to make it easier you could draw the character in different layers like how she did the hair
My jaw is like an anvil right now! This answers so much. There is so much in watching a pro make this look so easy and fast! I got to create something and just replay this while I'm doing it. This video is So good!!!!
This video is everything. I learned so much more off this video than any teacher has actually shown me first hand or with any videos. Keep doing you and keep the good content up. I'm really going full force now with animation after seeing this because I always saw this girl who would make anime like you sit right next to me in class and I was like wow her stuff is amazing I wish I could learn from her but I never got to see how she work only slightly and this is how she made her animations and now that I see this I see how it's done this is what I've been struggling with because now I know I can ghost the frame over the other I didn't know what it was called the closest thing I've seen was an app my brother showed me but been trying to get it to work in Photoshop.
This is a really great breakdown thanks! I think it’s about time for me to make the plunge into frame by frame animation even just to add certain elements.
Wow. It looks great 👍. Your time and effort is on another level. You really made this come alive and look really cool. I’ll never get this level probably with my animations but it makes me want to step up my animation game. Thanks ✌️
Excellent work! Really learned a lot. I do have one nit pick though. I'm not sure if its because I'm not wearing my glasses, but I thought the left eye was open and thought the nose was a pupil.
This is amazing!! I wish adobe wasn't so costly or else I'd use it instead of flipaclip.. But this does help with self teaching animation, thank you :)
Thank you so much for this! I have a fear of After Effects that I'm trying to overcome haha I guess my biggest question is, when do you know to use After Effects for some things, and Photoshop for others? For example, why add the pink knees and shadows in After Effects instead of Photoshop?
getting the fade right on the red of the knee the same way in every frame would be a nightmare, much easier with vectors to move around and keep consistent and it was easily masked to the character in after effects, which would have been more difficult in photoshop.
You are amazing Sasha Dudka . DO you know this is the first time i saw someone animate this way in Photoshop :). I love it. and you are good in this. Wish you good luck and nice day. thanks, like from me and Sub.

TvT same..
maybe so it adjusts to the movement of the legs? I was wondering this too:(
getting the fade right on the red of the knee the same way in every frame would be a nightmare, much easier with vectors to move around and keep consistent and it was easily masked to the character in after effects, which would have been more difficult in photoshop.
