Not sure about the Lunar Rock until I see it in person. Looks a lot like the cement which I do like! Things I don’t care for are the fake hood scoop, the lack of hood struts, no grab handle on driver side A Pilar, no pocket on the back of the driver seat. Just a few I’m sure there is more! Come on for the price those cheep simple things should be included. Yes I had a 2005 taco. Loved it! More HP and Torque not a fan of the 3.5 drive train. I liked the 4.0 much better!

Just picked up a 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro 6 speed MT in magnetic grey. Lose JBL audio { still has premium audio], crawl control, push button start, proximity key and remote start. All worth it to have that sweet 6 speed manual in a taco, its about $3k less than n auto too. If I need all that I just mentioned I can just borrow my wives 2020 TRD Pro 4 runner in super white. white on black with roof rack and rock sliders, so awesome. We love Toyotas!
I love mine just turned 40,000 miles and not a single issue with it , 2018 TRD OR DC 4x4 auto 1.5 inch lift fox 2.0’s coil overs in the front and fox with reservoirs in the rear with 1 inch lift , on TRD pro Tacoma wheels , 265/75r16 =32inch Toyo AT2’s . I off road it in Arizona desert twice a wk and not one issue with it , my fav truck/vehicle I have owned to date .... I’m liking that TRD PRO lunar rock though , beautiful truck 👍🏻

Drives fantastic but QRD is most important when buying. Must last 20 years! It’s Ridgeline, Tacoma, Tundra in that order now! Would love to travel to NC to pick up vehicle but how would Michigan dealers treat me IF I needed service! Not an off roader so 48k way too much for me! Great job! You’re the only dealer showing sticker prices! Keep up the great job!

I like my MT 2019 Tacoma. You do give up crawl control and can't get JBL or push button start, but I think it's a fair trade off. Have a 21 Pro, also with MT, in Lunar Rock on order
@@montecitan thanks....I really prefer manual to auto anyway. Don't mind giving up the things you mentioned. When I first drove my Taco up steep hills, I was disappointed with the power. I immediately thought if I had the 6 speed I could at least put it in a lower gear. I finally figured out that I needed to put the pedal to the metal. Every once in a while I feel the transmission shifts janky....not enough to really worry me. I am going to see if I can drive a 6 speed and make up my mind.
I would get the stick. It has a rear axle ratio of 4.3 vs the auto trans has a 3.9 axle ratio. This is one of the primary contributing factors to why the auto trans constantly is hunting for gears. The Tacoma is under geared from the factory, and was done so to pursue fuel economy goals.

I have the 2017 pro in cement. It's gonna be hard to let it go and get lunar rock. Looked at black, white, and graphite metallic. Those colors are just so common in all cars. Nice to have a color that is not so everywhere. Gotta see it in person still before making the commitment
They should have left the traction control button up top with the other off road tech. That would free up that button down on the left for any auxiliary things
I would love to see an actual break down of the cost to build one of these and what their expected margin is. The price seems a bit high for what you get. Just cant imagine dropping 50k on a midsize truck.

It seems like the TRD Pro Tacoma has more features than the 4Runner. The lane detection on the mirrors are missing on the 4Runner. What else is missing only comes with the Tacoma or 4RUNNER
I hope they'll make this color available on lesser trims just like they did with their past colors such as Cement Grey, Cavalry Blue and Army Green. We have two TRD Off Roads at our dealership in Army Green and they look fantastic! One of them has the upgraded LED package and black leather interior and it's pretty badass! The price is way too high though, $45,000! No way Jose!

If it’s strictly Direct Injection I’m not touching it, even Ford went back to a Port and Direct Injection combination engine because of the carbon build up issue. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Fox suspension on the trd does it offer lift 2 inch or 2.5 inch. Than trd off road ?
