You boys saved the motor with your hard work. We have the 3FE motor in our 89’ . It’s a bit thirsty so we have a 40 gallon tank ( 151 liters) keep up the great work.

That was definitely one big Mesh 😢. Years ago they use to empty the oil out and replace it with diesel drive it for a week ((( But had to top up the diesel in the motor frequently it cleaned the engine internals. (( But the draw back a lot of Smoke out of the exhaust when taking off.

I’m surprised with the amount of carbon build-up that the engine did not require rebuilding.

Lucky you found it before the engine let go.

    That's a very nice FJ60. It's a keeper.
    The stripes were classic too.
Since it's going to the NT it needs a sun visor (sold my Mr Landcruiser). I'd also add headlight protectors.
I like the Hella halogen driving lights. The whole thing is just classy and stylish. Fred Dibnah would approve.

If I was British I’d also rather be working on Land Cruisers in Queensland 😂

Great content! Are you interested in testing some vehicle lighting from Suparee? I mean sponsorship.

The FJ62 with 3F carb models, square headlamps started in '88, up to '90 I believe?
Mine is a base FJ62 from '89, in the South African Bushveld.
I just finished the front axle and hubs today, seals, tranion bearings etc, now needs a new Aisin waterpump, etc.
