A_MAAA_ZING!!!! this young guy will be in the hall of fame one day, for sure!!! Buddy, thanks so much for supporting such great talent! Agree with what some other here wrote b4 : It's a SHAME that such vids only got a few 1000 to 100.000 views whereas it should have dozens of millions!!!! For each his own... but this is worth million times more than any Biber-kind of vid!!! PEACE to all from good old Germany :-)
@TheEmjay334 Yeah we can him cut some slack on the walk throughs. As good as Quinn is and as great as he's going to be, face it Buddy could mop up the stage with him if he wanted to. But since he was 7 Buddy has always put Quinn out front, suported him and given him the oppertunity show what he can do. And I'm certain teach him a thing or 3 along the way. Quinn is going to be great, and I have gained an entirerly new RESPECT for Buddy for he is doing with Quinn.
I think you have the development of music too boxed in.Music doesn't just go away or drop off the creative table.Blues, Rock, Metal, Punk, and all other forms of quasi contemporary music are imbedded in our culture and assimilated into our global community. The viability of the classic composer's music doesn't change, Bach and Mozart aren't forgotton, neither will Blues and Rock 'n Roll, It's here to stay......
People, there are three kinds of people associated with guitars: guitar owners, of which there are literally millions; guitar players, of which there are some; and finally guitarist, of which there are very few. Quinn Sullivan is most definitely a guitarist. And quite a virtuoso at that. What is mind boggling is that mainstream popular music culture has not embraced him. What is wonderful is that musicians like Buddy Guy have. I sincerely hope that Quinn carves out his own space. Rock on.
Buddy's just having fun. At 75, he's got nothing to do but have show up and show off. I have a feeling Quinn will be speed-bumping past a whole generation of blues. Hope he doesn't get too technical and miss the roots part of the blues.
I miss Buddy doing his "walk thru" the audience, but being 75 yrs. old I'll cut him some slack and give him points for supporting this remarkable new talent. Don't EVER miss the opportunity seeing both of them live.
lol, Right, because just because ur going on tour for a few years with one of the best guitarists in the world doesn't make u famous. He is famous smart one. No, he's not on the same scale as Justin Beiber or Katy Perry, but hes still known by millions, I'd say he's pretty much famous. And plus, Kids dont usually get famous because they usually can't compete with adults, so not many look for them and seek them out. he'll get better with time, and i promise he'll do well, just have patience.
i feel like if u people would get ur way and lots of people were to convert to rock, all u morons would start bragging about how long uve loved the music. And please, i wish the same, but all of u just need to accept it. Rock isn't coming back. As much as i would love it. Its just not logical, blues was popular for a few decades, then it was rock, then metal, then punk, the rap, then hip hop. All music, including todays, shall pass. U can be mad about it, or accept it and move on.
dangggg quinn is a 50 year old black man stuck in a little kids body..
btw my name is quinn but im a girl. and i play blues too hahaha
The second peace don`t sounds like Jimi Hendrix, that is the reincarnation of Stievie Ray!
Great, he is back ;-)

I think the late great Jimi Hendrix would approve of Quinn's playing of Voodoo Child! He rocks it out flawlessly, very excellent
Quinn will have an awesome career...and a big thanks to Buddy Guy for mentoring and promoting Quinn...

Whether that kid 'looks' emotionless or not, he sure has great expression in his playing for a 12 year old
Oh hell the kid can sing too, wow Quinn you are amazing! Love you Buddy Guy!

Cannot ask this question enough. Is Buddy Guy G-D? Or is G-D Buddy Guy?
Great show
God bless buddy.
When Quinn started to play Wodoo Chile my mouth hit the pavement ... :)
Once alone, he is beautiful
Anyone know the name of the drummer?
