1996 ram 1500 Indy 500 Holley terminator x update part 4 - running and driving + new exhaust

  • The truck already had the 410" magnum with an externally regulated aftermarket fuel system including accel 30lb injectors. I added the following parts -
    -Holley Terminator X universal domestic v8 kit (550-942)
    -Holley dual sync distributor (565-208bk)
    -Holley blank distributor cap (566-103)
    -Holley 46re transmission harness (558-473)
    -Holley universal coil harness (558-307)
    -8 GM LS style coil packs
    -GM LS coil pack harnesses
    -ICT billet coil brackets
    -Converted alternator to internally regulated
    -Lowdoller motorsports pressure sensors for oil and fuel
    -Holley IAC
    -Rife 1/8 npt coolant temp sensor
    -GM MAT sensor
    -Adapted Holley harness to use stock throttle position sensor
    -Current performance electric fan harness to rewire existing fans and tie into Terminator X
    -Current performance Terminator X air conditioning harness
    -Removed the following OEM parts - PCM, engine/trans harness, coil, crank sensor, distributor
    All parts installed in my garage with some help from a friend. Tuned by Damon Casey out of the Lake George NY area.
    Most things in truck still work without OEM PCM - such as lights, radio, power windows/lock, blower motor etc. Gas gauge, volt gauge, and speedometer/odometer in stock cluster still work. Still need to figure out air conditioning and cruise control
    Wasn’t cheap FYI. I went with the magnum as I already had the complete motor in the truck.

    Exhaust parts - Pacesetter long tube headers - 2 catalytic converters - X pipe - 2 Borla xr1 mufflers part number 40944 - A-Karck resonators (amazon). Pipe kit was DNA 3" stainless (eBay). Generic 3" stainless V bands. Universal weld on hangers.
    PS - I don't think the go-pro adequately portrays the full sound quality of the new exhaust.

    -8 fuel system w/return, 30 lb injectors, billet rails, walbro pump
    PATC 10" to 12" billet torque converter
    Built 46re trans by New limit motorsports Fonda NY

    Stock suspension besides bilstien shocks and 2" lower shackles.
    stock rear end with 4:10 gears and limited slip
    SSBC dual piston front brake calipers w/ stainless lines. Stock rear drums.
