Hey Jimmy you previously recommended me a few books I bought the chestnut man and will give it to my mum at Xmas thanks for the recommendation. Keep up the good work
Currently reading "Curse of the Reaper" and really enjoying it. Its not scary or anything like that but the story itself is great, especially if you are into slashers 🔪
Ahhh!❤ Three of these are on my shelf and have decided Summer of Night will be my first Dan Simmons read. You've convinced me to pick up Charwood! Looking forward to the next video to drop :)
Hey Jimmy, thanks for your videos. I’ve enjoyed watching your book recommendations over the last few months. I was wondering, do you also enjoy listening to Stephen King books (as well as books by other authors) as audiobooks? I listened to Billy Summers and Fairy Tale as audiobooks and found them just as, if not more, engrossing than reading a physical book. I look forward to your review of Holly. Have a good day! 👍
Thank you! I actually don’t listen to audio books. I have a hard time following someone talking to me. I just feel I absorb more reading myself. Just a personal preference.
Hey Jimmy, "Summer of night" is one of my favorites, and I´m going to read it a second time in October. I finished "Holly" yesterday. The book seems to have a bit of harder time in Germany, but I really liked it. Thank you so much for your recommendations!🍂🍁
I have about 100 pages left in Little Eve right now and loving it so far! I was thinking of doing Girl from Rawblood eventually but now I'm hesitant haha
Hey there, I wanted to say I was so happy when you recommended Summer Of Night because I just bought it because of how much I loved The Terror. You have an excellent palate for great books. I really enjoy your content. Keep up the great work!
Summer of Night sounds like something I would enjoy so going on the TBR. Currently halfway thru Holly and enjoying it. Will be interested to hear your thoughts as well.
Nice reviews! The other day I picked up the new 20th anniversary edition of Come Closer by Sara Gran - a great Halloween read that, in my opinion, remains one of the scariest depictions of possession put to paper.
Hey Jimmy. It's partly thanks to you that I set off on my journey to The Dark Tower so I just wanted to say cheers mate!
That’s amazing! Glad I could help! 🍻

I personally liked Sundial.
If you liked Summer of Night…..I recommend Robert McAmmonn’s Boys Life
Thanks yeah! That is a good comparison. I really enjoyed that book as well.
Jimmy, just started "One Rainy Night" by R. Laymon. So far so very good. Has all the hallmarks of a classic Laymon.
Good to know! I haven’t read that one yet. Thanks!
Lots of good book recs this time!! Thanks Jimmy!
Sliver sounds super creepy! thanks for the book recs Jimmy!!!
It's a great read! Great to hear from Levin fans :)

Sliver is an OK book. The movie was worse. The ending is really anticlimactic.
Reading Carrick Glynn by Tony Urban. So far so good for Halloween themed book.
Reading Summer of Night right now, almost 1/2 way through it and loving it.
Awesome! Good to hear!
Beware the bell!!!!
Brother-man. I see that jacket. As a Canadian. How did you become a PSU guy?

Summer of Night is awesome. Recently got Children of the night after reading A Winter Haunting thinking that was the sequel🤣🤣
All good books as well!

I mean you may like it. Did you read Sundial?
I've only read Last House on Needless Street before this one
@brittanyramsay8221 I’d be interested to hear what you think of Sundial. I hated it but a friend of mine, she absolutely loved it.
@jimmymango ooo OK I'll let ya know
Loved Sundial, did not enjoy Girl From Rawblood. You were on point about it being a struggle to get through, kinda boring.
All these are now on my TBR. 😊
I loved Sliver as a movie, read the book afterwards. Was great too, but it felt more like a movie plot to me.
Yeah I could see that
These all sound really good. Thanks for another great video! I always smile when I see you've uploaded a video!
Thanks Kimberly!
Haha - same😊
Hey I didn't realize you were a fellow Canadian! What part of the country are you in?🇨🇦
