I like that you hold the book up while talking about it. I listen to audio mostly, and if i miss the title name, i dont have to scroll back to when the title was first shown!
I just found your channel and I've been binge-watching all your videos. I especially love your book recommendations and videos like this where you just go through and describe a little bit of the plot it's very chill and I really enjoyed all of your videos overall ❣️❣️❣️
Love this channel so much! Your the reason I’ve gotten back into reading, genuinely haven’t read this much since elementary school. Just started Dune, i mainly read sci-fi and horror. You’ve given me some great recommendations. Thanks for the great video as always.
Great channel! Love the Stephen King video's. I've notice you've been reading Dean Koontz. Have you read The Watchers? Excellent book! Its about a highly intelligent dog and monsters...need I say more lol Check it out if you haven't. One of my favorites by him.
Great video! The Terror is the read of the year so far for me. Such a dark, harrowing read. I've read a few by Laymon now and I enjoy his books, even though sometimes he writes like a horny adolescent. Dean Koontz has been more miss the hit for me, but I have heard good things about Odd Thomas.
Man haven't been to this channel in a bit. Ive been more into writing than reading lately. Mostly short stories because i dont have the capacity to write novels. I haven't published anything because I'm not very confident in my abilities haha but i try. How you been man?
I'm going to have to check out some Dan Simmons books - they sound good. And I really want to check out that Titanic book - it would be so fascinating to read something written about it prior to all that we've learned. Thanks for another great video!
An original that doesn't get as much press is the book "You Suck" by Paulie Amigo. It's hilarious. It takes a poke at the self help genre, while also being helpful.
@@jimmymango 😮! He’s my fav author ever! WM was primarily a mystery writer then ventured in Science Fiction.. graphic novels and erotica as well as plays etc. For mystery I’d suggest start with Devil in a Blue Dress (his first) For science fiction I’d suggest Blue Light or The Wave very trippy books. Some of his books have been adapted to movies but they never do the books Justice at all but they try .
I had a great time with Abominable, especially because I started it with low expectations (thanks to all the negative Goodreads reviews). But I've been a Dan Simmons fan myself, so I thought I'd check it out and turned out loving it. True to Dan Simmons style, it had a lot of info dumps, but that never bothers me if I find the info being dumped interesting 😄. And I learned a lot more about Mt. Everest than I ever knew
woohoo! he is back!!!!!!!!! love the video, I will definitely read some of these books over the summer.

You should do a video about Richard Laymon books!!
Interesting reads!

Enjoy Dune! I still have a few more in the series to read. I’ve been meaning to pick up the next one soon!
@@jimmymango thank you!

I highly recommend Endless Night by Laymon! Ive read a handful of his novels now also and so far that ones my favorite 😊 cant wait to see your review!
Thanks Brittany! I can’t wait to check it out.

Hyperion by Dan Simmons has become one of my favorite books! If you can get into sci fi, its awesome and would 100 % recommend
Your books are definitely amazing.
