@@Snackie15910 This is why I'm a tank main in this game. Getting flamed by the enemies for not dying after they poke me for 10 minutes. :P (Specially Ornn is so funny. Not even need to die to shop)
The idea of destroying not only the grass, but the walls as well is a really fresh idea. Might make the Jungle more interesting when there's no terrain to block you, or screw over some champions.
In china’s MoBa mobile, there’s literally a champion that if it sustains its passive can continue to ignore terrain and Kayn and Bard have their e so I don’t see why not for this mechanic
I like this idea of a tank that may not do enough damage, but can absolutely cripple an opponent by making their item's passives effectively useless while he's around, can destroy FOW, and can destroy terrain to make for huge teamplay moments. It also has downsides. Creating and destroying terrain works both ways. Now enemies can't hide in bushes, and can't easily counterplay skillshots, but now, neither can your team. Making a path with Ornn's ult into Drake pit for an easy 5 man charge is great. Buuut, now your team can't really run away as easily. Leaving room to royally fuck up is an important part of character design imo
A tank that does damage goes top. A utility oriented tank that doesn't do as much damage goes support. Except they both do stupid amounts of damage. The only difference is that top lane tanks deal %health damage with little base damage while supports deal a lot of base damage with little to none %health damage
The R destroying walls (I assume the walls "grow" back after some time, tho?) is a neat concept and it makes sense of Ornn honestly. An engage ult that clears the way for your team to go for the knocked up (assuming it still knocks up. If it still knocks up, it could be too powerful I guess? Maybe just a massive slow or a short stun then? ) targets
I feel like this would make Ornn the most broken champ in the game. An infinite toggleable unstoppable that does % max hp dmg, removing terrain permanently, creating terrain that’s bigger than the terrain on the map, and a Sion ult as a basic ability. Some champs entire kit is equal to just one or two of these.
I love the idea of interacting with the terrain more. With so many champions that can jump walls, it only seems fair to have some champions that just straight up removes walls or bushes, which will of course respawn after some time.
The ult destroying terrain is the only one that wouldnt break the game Ornns e can already destroy champion generated terrain so having the ult do the same but stronger would be cool Item disabling is a cool concept but 20s is way long, maybe like 5s but even then its like a free exhaust so it would make him insanely op
why is it that leveling abilities to max don't make em stronger but changes em completly, like his Q going from singe pilar to a cage to a single large pilar that explodes?
NGL, I wish some of these doom bot mechanics are put in for a champ's standard kit (especially for level 18/ late game). It not only looks good, but I feel like it could make sense especially for late game. The game would be more impactful and from a game POV, more fun too.
the Bush burning is actually a really cool concept. They already do it when Fire drake is the main Dragon. Might as well add it for a fire breathing champ.
As a old League player And a new DOTA 2 player : this is exactly what's in Dota. The environement is a lot more linked to every character. There is tree that you can destroy. A height concept in the map... And a lot more that I can't even describe
I like all of this (although I imagine it would be like hell to code) except the passive. Item disable would be a cool concept but the one from the game fits better orm's theme, he's a builder not a destroyer
Destroying the bush temporarily seems like something that should be a mechanic. I mean Ornn can already destroy champion-made walls with his charge, why not brush temporarily? I could see that being a thing they add.
Just imagine how the game would be if every level up you can either upgrade your ability or change it to your champions other abilities that have CC or long range or short range or buffs or debuffs and the abilities interact with other abilities and terrains and also based on your champions species.
When Taliyah came out, Riot said they wanted to make her able to change the enviroment, specifically, rocks, walls and whatever other earth-like things on the map, but they couldn't do it so they gave up on it
Not sure when or why they changed it, but Ornn E used to be able to break playermade terrain, so stuff like trundle pillar, azir R, and anivia wall could be broken. Not completely broken in teh case of stuff like Azir R and anivia W, but it would make a small opening like 1 pillar wide.
While the item break mechanic I cannot see going well, I see the bush burning mechanic and wall breaking mechanic as future things that can be implemented. Naturally, affter a time they come back, but it can cause some awesome and interesting strategies.
I really like idea of damaging the map, its really cool! I think every massive ult like aurel, lux, ornn and etc doing such things will be very cool. I once said to my friends - if there will be noita-league of legends game, i would go crazy and just play it for hours
I wouldn't mind if they made the skills this strong if the game worked like Vainglory. There you can't lvl up all skills to the max, so youist choose and those you get to max level get extra effects
honestly the concept of removing terrain for a few seconds to create sneaky paths is super cool and should be a thing for a new champ. Yes Kayn can do what ever he wants but beeing able to create paths for your team is epic
the lvl 3 Q should be a thing, like anivia's wall, like literally more pillars, to balance this it shouldn't do damage, only the slow, but to balance it make E do more damage when knock up
Id say make orn R lvl2 destroy walls the direction it comes from and lvl 3 the direction it comes from and where you send it. Make Q5 a Wall trap. And W like Asol Q and E combined.
Right hear me out. Ornn pasive, has an active effect with a long cooldown (like azir tower) when activated ornn is able to massively buff one of his items, I’m talking like doubling the stats. The downside however is that the item can’t handle the power for long and eventually breaks down. In the inventory when the times up the selected item will turn into “scrap” which can be sold back for half the price.
Hmm, idk about the W. Just makes it ridiculously easy to pile dmg onto Ornn because he has to keep breathing the fire, unless you can aim it because he also moves a little bit forward while bellowing. Also kinda wished the ult increased in size with each level. And his e is nice but that ability can be interrupted by cc.
I like his Q the most. Ornn’s Q usually feels… weak. Unsatisfying. His Q getting larger the more levels he has, I like it. He’s a god, why is his terrain creation so damn tiny when Trundle can make a fucking iceberg.
What's actually better on the ult is remove the terrain destroy and just let how many rams he can headbutt, plus in succession of head butting by how many rams he headbutted will give him tenacity, aoe fire damage and armor/magic armor.
