Morde takes the experience. Most people assume that because Morde's time of activity is described from 400BN that his age is roughly 1500 years old, but This literally refers to the time of Morde's first post resurrection activity, not when he was born. In the official Q&A on Reddit, it was mentioned that the period of Morde activity would have existed before the empire of shurima.
Exactly and it was said somewhere that Morde could even destroy a Darkin Weapon or free the Darkin from theyre Prison, furthermore the black mist is just a fragment of the power that Morde holds, he said it himself when encountering Viego "The same magic that chains you to this realm frees me to walk between." So yeah Morde would definitely win in a 1v1 against Aatrox

@@SuperPaulo212 yeah the lore is truly big, i would say the best part to start with would be the story with lissandra and the watcher there you learn how freljord came to be, then mordekaiser and after that the darkin wars, that are like the building blocks of the world we have now in runeterra, its like the origin storys of the main regions and after thats its really up to you reading what interests you the most, theres a hell lot of it i can tell you that :D
Few things wrong here: The aspects are not concepts themselves. This is never mentioned anywhere in the lore, it came from one rioter’s statement that gets contradicted in pantheon’s short story. In pantheon’s short story the idea of war still persisted after the death of the aspect of war. Rioters often contradict themselves , so statements outside of the official lore are not always consistent and need to be analyzed with scrutiny. Aatrox shouldn’t have concept manip as it’s inconsistent to the story -kindred is not the concept of death, that was retconned a while back. Now they are just one of the many spirit gods.
Kindred isnt one of the many spirit gods, she IS death itself, but different regions have different concepts of death, for example Ionia's kindred is spirit blossom kindred, while noxus' kindred is the recent chosen of the wolf skin. I think a way to perceive Kindred and Morde is that Morde is Hades while Kindred is Thanatos
@@HughMann989 She is never death itself. Legends of Runeterra already shows that there are other entities like kindred. More importantly, The Death spirit (also known as the Fading icon) located on the shadow isles is on the verge of being taken away by the entity known as Etherfiend. The Etherfiend is a representation of a second death - being forgotten. Representations (like the Spirit Gods) can't die, but they can be forgotten, and when they are, they're taken beyond by the Etherfiend. Fading Icon is desperate to be remembered, and why it's terrified of the Etherfiend.
@@HughMann989 Kindred is not death, they are a spirit of death, they collect souls of the departed but their power comes from people believing in them. So if somehow everyone where to forget kindred they would die and be taken by the Etherfiend
I hate power scaleing. The whole argument for either of them being able to brake stars is their comparison to pantheon and other aspects. Pantheon cent travel MFTL to instantly destroy a star he used the crown that enslaved sol to destroy it. Pantheon himself can do no such thing. Everything is blown so out of proportion and it so anoing to see it everywhere so much.
I agree, especially for speed feats its very silly. It dose not make much narrative sense for either of these characters to even achieve super sonic+ speeds. I don't think all narrative feats can be quantified into a nice linear number. Worldbuilding feats like Atreus surviving Aatrox's attacks while the aspect of war dies is written as a feat of willpower not physical durability. The aspect of war's will to live gave up before Atreus will to live did. This is the narrative focus on Pantheon's color story, the story this feat takes place in, as it starts with Atreus before being chosen as a man with no outstanding qualities other than his raw willpower and his survival is a payoff of that buildup. Wish more powers scalers focused on things like that than just "big number, MFTL+"
Right 😭 bro said Aatrox is atleast hypersonic because he's stronger than ornn who fought Volibear and volibear used lightning. That's like me saying I'm faster than a bullet because the guy I fought and beat up, was in a shootout. Shit's ridiculous
First i would like to point out that morde is not only physically very powerful albeit less than Aatrox, that is not his forte in combat. The reason i think morde wins is that he is probably the most powerful mage to ever exist having spent an uncountable number of years learning, mastering and inventing every type of magic, EVEN bandle city magic. He is probabaly one of if not the only non-yordle beings that is able to find and enter/influence the gates that lead to bandle city. He can do much more than just swing his mace. Granted we dont know much about how magic works or how to scale it, let alone the fact how aatrox is even affected by it, but having magic atlesst doubles Mordes power. Second, as you said we know aatrox is vulnerable to getting separated from his host body as atreus, a mortal man did exactly that to beat Aatrox. I think it would not be too difficult to make aatrox drop his sword for someone of mordes caliber. Third, Aatrox is probably very weak right now, possibly even weaker than his ascended form. We know host bodies can barely contain aatroxs powers and he needs to constantly replinish them with dead bodies. Having nothing he can use his blood magic on to replenish his hist body during his fight with morde will probably tire him out quick. Conclusion: Aatrox as he is now loses to morde, a true fight would be between pre-sealing darkin aatrox or even ascended aatrox vs mordekaiser.
The one thing i have a hard time grasping is how someone thats already basically dead get killed? My thoughts is that mordekaiser would just come back and then know how to defeat Aatrox after that. Thats usually what happens in battles between immortals. Aatrox would have the upper hand and just whoop his ass for centuries until mordekaiser comes back with either an army that’s too big to count or some sort of new advantage up his sleeve that can end Aatrox. Only for again to be going back and forth since neither can actually kill the other.
I want to have a discussion about the concept erasure you mention. Aatrox did not destroy the concept of war as we know wars are still happening. Moreover, whenever atreus uses Pantheon's powers, the constellation of war slightly shimmers in the sky. This means the concept is still alive, it just lost its ability to physically manifest its will. You can think of it as basic bodily functions still happening even if you are unconscious. So i dont think aatrox can erase concepts. It definitely can hurt/ damage them, though
iooooo u forgot abt mordekaiser army, his army is huge and also souls, wich means no flesh for aatrox to feed on, and they could provide mordekaiser great suport by distracting aatrox and sacrificing themselfs for him, and some mordekaiser soldiers are also powerfull enough to make the fight itself be way harder to aatrox it would be a endless batle or untill aatrox looses his stamina and no longuer can manifest his phisical body
Interesting. I think you're right. I'd say Morde is a bigger threat to the world tho. Aatrox definetly has the 1v1, but he still is just a single guy. Morde has entire armies.
I disagree with scaling morde to star level due to the lack of feats to back up his statements. That statement of morde taking on 3 aspects is rubbish solely because the rioter who made that statement admitted he doesn’t know shit about aspects, he just thought it would be cool for morde to theoretically fight an aspect. We also never see morde fight an aspect in the story either Viego doesn’t scale to the aspect of war since he fought Atreus who is nowhere as strong as the original aspect. Him reviving the aspect of war itself can literally just be hax. I don’t think reviving someone should be considered an AP feat unless it was stated to be done through raw power. Atreus winning against Aatrox was also a plot armor moment in the story, and in another story Atreus was getting stomped by another ascended (presumably Xerath) so I don’t think Atreus could realistically take on Aatrox without plot armor. Morde should realistic upscale from Virgo’s country lvl scaling and maybe at most continental which is vastly below Aatrox’s solid star lvl feat. Aatrox should take this low diff at most, Aatrox having solid feats just puts him miles above morde who is largely featless and relies on faulty statements
I believe that morde's power is likely higher than star level This is because in Rise of the Sentinels, Viego is definitely mentioned as a Celestial level powerhouse, and there is actually a description of him doing great damage to Aspects with the black mist he controls. Furthermore, morde has shown himself to create his own dimension, so I think it's likely that he's stronger than people realize.
i mean kindred only appears when your at the end and you cant stop it hes the aspect of death and riot said that everything has to come to an end even aurelion
Aatrox will take the win in a 1v1. I’d dare say very easily. What makes morde a threat is his vast growing army, so he’s a bigger threat to the rest of the world if he returns. Unless aatrox can also assemble his darkin comrades
I mean isn't mordekaiser's army direct counter to darkins? darkins in order to fight and survive need blood and well you won't get a drop of blood while fighting mordekaiser (that' why it could be said that mordekaiser and his army can defeat any darkin) and even then gathering all the darkins is quite the challange while mordekaiser has absolute control of every single soul in his army
Morde takes the experience.
