At this point I'm becoming convinced that the most reliable way to find decent Defect cards is by keeping track of moon cycles
Insane how much that hologram changed the deck. Deck went from completely lost to borderline playable.
Watching a master at work. These sorts of runs are far and away my favorite to watch, keep up the good work youtube jorbs (don't listen to twitch jorbs about the splices)
When Jorbs takes 100% of the focus he's offered, and it's still somehow not enough.

47:23 I just now learned that hyperbeam, the card in which the defect shoots a big ass laser for a ton of damage that overworks him and makes him lose focus, has some connection to the attack from automoton that shoots a big ass laser for a ton of damage and makes him skip a turn
If automaton is related to defect and nemesis to silent, then who's related to ironboy?
@@selkokieli843 If I had to pick an enemy for real, it'd probably be Transient based on the fact that the Ironclad's starting relic upgrade makes his blood black. The price for the demonic energies is them slowly corrupting him over time, a process only delayed presumably by Neow hooking his being up to the infinite Spire surge breaker. I could totally see him eventually degrading into a creature like the Transient, incredibly hard to destroy but also destroying itself

@@YuriAlbuquerque That would be the straightforward answer given their special trinket interaction but aside from the Ironclad being able to take the belt itself nothing really implies the Ironclads fought for sport. Granted, the Automaton and the Defect being connected by hyperbeams is pretty loose too but they're both robots which look like they could've been made by the same faction.
@@selkokieli843 Defect is a "defected" robot from the Spire itself, so he could be thought of adjacent to all Spire robots like Sentries, Guardian, Spheric Guardian, Automaton and Orb walkers.
Silent and Ironclad are both the last of their tribe, so I wouldn't say that they have a special connection to any of the enemies in the spire.
Watcher and Time Eater have a connection based on looks and dialogue.
This is the kind of deck where I'd die halfway through Act 2. Coming up to 1000 hours, I can win about 20 to 30% of the time at A20H on the other characters but Defect is so much harder, feels like if I don't get a focus card or Glacier Im pretty much doomed, apart from a small number of occasions when I can go crazy with Meteor Strike.

Insane win without any focus

This is just an incredible run. Bad neow reward. No focus. Streamline and bullseye as crappy damage. Barely a draw cards. So many bad shops. And yet you scrapped for every point of health and crawled over the line with a jaw dropping final fight. Very few people would have been able to win this run. I fact I'm fairly sure noone would have been able to.
