@MOTOPILOT6 found out my day to day laptop was just not up to scratch, I have 3 uploads on my channel to test it out by editing the notchy vid, exporting at a high bit rate and fps to youtube and they seem to playback fine?

While exporting after reframing in desktop app - My does not export and produce 2KB mp4 file. Let me know what will be possible cause.

Great video. Thanks. What happens to the original video? Is it edited and gone now or is is still there on your computer? I know. In is mayby a dum question but I am new to this and want to understand how it works 🙂

Most editing software does "non destructive editing" It is disappointing that they do not make this clear. Basically all the editing you are doing is to a copy and what you export out of the software is the copy that you have adjusted. The master file should not be touched and is in the same place it was before you started. You could break a 2 minute video into 4 x 30 second sections with lots of adjustments and save those four sections and the master would still be untouched. I hope this answers your question. I had the same question many years ago when I started and it was hard to find the answer. It seems that the software editing companies assume that you already know this important bit of information, which most new users do not.
