Good video and I had the same journey as Molly in the past 15 years and came to the similar conclusions. I was on PPI for about 10 years on and off, and now for almost 2 years I'm off PPI. To be honest, I came to video to learn about Key Strategies not for the ad in every second sentence. I'd like more video if Molly was not overselling the Masterclass. IMHO mention at the beginning and end of the video would be enough.
I love singing. I was improving my voice range and texture day by day two years back before GERD hit me. I was diagnosed with gastritis which was turning into ulcers, and fortunately i got it controlled by two months of medications (basically antacids). Later on, i dont get heartburns or too much of mucus, but one thing which stayed with me is Sore throat. My vocal cords are still suffering, and i can't sing the way i use to sing. Voice fatigue, hoarseness, and it becomes evident when i try to sing softly or higher notes. Sometimes it automatically goes away, but very rare, mostly it stays with me, and this breaks me and slowly taking myself away from my passion. I hope i am able to sing FREELY again.
Im hoping this channel will finally change my life. GERD has absolutely destroyed me as a person to the point of almost giving up completely and people think I’m crazy or a hypochondriac i have felt so alone dealing with this.
Literally my doctor did this to me. Told me it was all in my head. I have scar tissue in the back of my throat from the damage done to it and she said all that was normal.
I just happened to stumble across your videos this morning. Didn't realize that acid reflux was a big enough issue to have videos made about it. Obviously then, many people must deal with this issue too. I eat very very clean and couldn't figure out how I developed acid reflux. Doctor said age is a factor and prescribed medicine and nasal sprays which I don't want to take. I am so glad I stumbled across your videos and appreciate the resources you have made for those of us who have acid reflux. I look forward to going through other videos to learn more. Thanks again.
@@MollyPelletierRDplease Good evening I'm Mercy from Ghana, I've been suffering from acid REFLUX since last 2 year and has resulted in oesophageal stricture. Hi there! Thanks for your interest in our 1:1 sessions :) please take a look at our program page here with FAQs that answer your questions! 🤍 www.mollypelletier.com/acid-reflux-specialist you can apply right on here and I can answer any additional questions you may have ! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi Molly, or to whom may know the answer to my question… :) I was not so long ago diagnosed with chronic moderate gastritis with GERD. Been taking Famotidine prescribed by my MD for quite some time. Now l’ve noticed that it has become ineffective. (fyi: used to take a ppi but i’ve decided to stop taking it for obvious reasons) I’m planning to take Slippery Elms and Licorce Root. Do you know if it’s okay to include a digestive enzyme supplement as well? My doctor isn’t much help and suggest that supplements are useless. She didn’t even know what slippery elms were lol. So to anyone who has any suggestions, it’s much appreciated! ty!!
Both these have helped me. Also one teaspoon of honey in the morning and before bedtime also was helpful. I have not taken the enzyme root because I have read one should be tested and examined to learn which enzyme(s) to take and this I have not done.
What if the only symptoms you’ve had is burping and nausea? I haven’t had any pain so Im not sure what actually triggers it.. my Dr. just prescribed me acide reflux meds and sent me on my way.
Eat red apples for a few days to treat acid reflux. They are alkaline in nature which neutralizes too much acid caused by food such as bananas and other acidic foods.
Why it effects one side of throat at the time of eating everything seems ok but after eating food their is sore throat one side. Doctors diagnosis it LPR When I eat chicken it gets worsen
TBH, all UA-camrs have the same story but none are very helpful. They are mainly focused on selling their followers stuff. I am hearing that same thing here. I agree stress plays a big role in Acid Reflux but you should know that the #1 symptom most patients with acid reflux experience is indigestion. If you cannot digest your foods properly I am not sure how you can get the nutrients out of them. I am not sure what your acid reflux was caused by but 80% of those with acid reflux have low stomach acid. This is never easy to fix because if someone had low stomach acid for years. There’s a good chance they have bacterial infection, gallstones, liver issue and pancreas problem.
For acid reflux, eat red apples for a few days to neutralize and get rid of it. My wife and I used red apples to treat acid reflux. The problem never came back.
@@rodrigobalibalita12 thanks for your reply but I have not heard such a thing before. Can you provide more details on this and I am not sure what you mean by red apple because almost every apple I have seen are red. Is there any article referencing the benefits of red apples? I have been struggling with this issue for so long.
Definitely proud of you over coming but your price girl are way to high but i guess thats the name of the game money money what happened to doing this and getting blessing but your not the only one i get it! Congrats on your business.

Your tips are very helpful. Thank you! Hard to take you seriously, though, when you’re sitting that way in bright pink pants!! Get yourself a white jacket with your name and degrees on it. You deserve to be considered as professional as your program sounds.
@@b.debruijn51 I know nothing. That’s why I listen to professionals posting videos on the topics I’m interested in, as the rest of the world does. It’s just hard to know who to take seriously. If you find it hard to take someone seriously because they are wearing colored pants, that might be a personal problem. It’s not unprofessional to wear colors.
@@lindsayswarthout9227it’s absolutely fine to wear whatever you want!! Not my issue at all.
