Horsepower is only 1 factor,rpm,gear ratio,weight , tire grip,aerodynamic plays huge roles too.
With high rpm you can minimize the gear ratio and still get the same speed as a car with lower rpm.

@@Tom-mk7iq well there are 2 body style with 2 headlights style, body of coupe or hatch and headlights of fixed or pop ups. any config can be done, e.g. hatch with fixed, coupe with pop-ups

Just because it doesn't have popups doesn't mean it's an 85, the only significant differences are the engine, axles and rear drum brakes. You can get an 85 with popups and an 86 without them, it doesn't matter...
