Fantastic clear vid, loved the bonus fun fact about band saws. You seem very knowledgeable and passionate 👍
its technical but most definitely informative and nothing better than making your own and getting them powder coated in your choice of colors ☺
Damn talk about retro youtube vibes. Glad you made another video.
Dude this video is soo good, Probably one the best how-to coilover Videos loved all the tips n Tech!!
Thank you, I appreciate the feed back!!!
You’re the man. Production looks even better dude.
I found your original welding project video years ago. Was trying to find it again today as I was planning on making a set of these. So amazing that 13 years later you put out an even more detailed video. Thanks alot!
Glad I could be of help. What car are you doing these on?
@@seymour86 1982 Toyota Celica Supra, pretty much the same front suspension like the AE86
@@AStraussy Nice. I’ve done a set or two of those. I think there was a difference in how much was cut out depending on which dampers are used. I believe i have some notes I can look at in my journal.
@@seymour86 Oh really? That would be awesome if you could check. I just assumed 40mm would be the number to go with.
@@AStraussy for the A60 celica I cut out 35mm because the person I was doing them for had dampers for the rear SW20.
Best video of its kind I have ever seen
That weld is Robotic!!!! Damn!!!❤
Thank you!
this video was amazing
Thank you!!
Yes please Ill take 2 sets please get back to me as I need this service completed as well.
$200 a pair.
Im making a set of these soon, I didnt quite understand the spacer part. if im using the kyb agx do i need a spacer or no?
Yes but it will depend on the length of the damper body. A common way to get your spacer length is to stack fender washers under your damper body until you have a length that lets you tighten the damper on the strut body. Take out your washers and measure them to get your spacer height.
@@seymour86 ok right on thanks for the info 👍🏽
I want this how much for the service
Sorry I rarely check my channel. Conversion is $200.
