@@RedAngelS60R Yeah even the S60R is rare here and finding a manual of either of these is getting very very hard. I'm considering doing an auto to manual conversion as autos are a lot cheaper.

@@RedAngelS60Rat the moment I have a 3 inch down pipe to a 2.5 inch catback exhaust, front and rear slotted rotors, hawk HPS brake pads a new PCV TCV system and a blow off valve.
@@RedAngelS60RI believe you are using the stock engine from the R (the one it originally came with) and you really modified it so that the walls wouldn’t crack due to too much boost / vibration.
seeing your videos and how amazing your R sounds it made me want to buy a S60 too, I bought a 2002 Volvo S60 T5 manual since I could not afford a R but its still very nice

hell yeah. i wanna get an EFR 7163 next. i currently have an 04 R M66 - T5 block. k24Hybrid, do88 intercooler, japanifold, fuel pump, 1050cc dynamics on E85, Xclutch organic sprung dual disc clutch, full catless exhaust and other bits and bobs. its super fun....but im already ready to go EFR. great job on the setup, sounds great...and is probably dead reliable with those dartons, pistons and rods. Great job -
I sold it. It is in good hands (much better than mine), but the new owner is not a big fan of publicity. I moved to US and have plans to buy another S60R here when I settle down :)
Tubular exhaust manifold, from there, is almost a straight 3-inch pipe with a long 4-foot resonator and a performance muffler at the end. Everything is custom-made from scratch.
@@Fade2278 Apart from small things like driveshafts, PCVs (positive crankcase ventilation) etc the biggest problem is the engine block itself. Cylinder wall cracks (95% of all S60Rs face this problem). AT5 gearbox is too weak even for stock numbers. AT6 is good, but only when it is in stock. The manual is extremely good if you are not hard launching with 500+ hp lol
If only volvo was able to make strong transmission for any of the p2 cars 😂I had my s80 redone and it was able to take the beating with around 350 horsepower never dynoed after I put bigger turbos on it

Haha, V8 is a great engine, but 2.5T has a unique charm and huge potential. You can't do much with a V8.

Sounds nice, but that lag is killer. I prefer the stock one since there is next to no lag. 👍 Stay safe!
It has two step launch control, so lag is not that vigorous of deal if you really want to send it

Not that great. It is kinda good in stock, but even a simple boost-up can cause a cascade of problems.

Low 4 secs secs if gearbox survives two-step launch.
