  • I made one of my all time favorite acrylic pour paintings by dripping paint through a barbeque grill. This time around I am using green and gold and painting a much bigger 20"x20" canvas.

    Not only is it really pretty, but there is nothing comparable to dripping paint. Not even the rain on my roof this morning can compare.

    Very good, David. It almost looked like it was water rolling over water to create a water washing unique look. A very interesting thing to watch when near the end of a water whirl pool.

    What a fun idea using the grate. While you were pouring I thought, oh my he will have bubbles, but your torch took care of them.

      Have you thought of laying a blank canvas on top of the paint you just poured over the grill? After the dripping has quit, of course. Maybe add some more colors. Just curious 🤔

    I was wondering if you would consider doing a series of videos on how you sell your art? Also, one on how to upload to Etsy and maybe red bubble? Also, maybe some thing on how to price your art for sale. I know contact creators are always looking for ideas for videos, so I thought I would suggest these. Maybe you could use something like cam Tasia to show how to upload to Etsy or any other online gallery that you think is worthwhile. Thanks for your consideration of these ideas as I think they would be most helpful for most people trying to sell their art.

    • @LeftBrainedArtist

    • @LeftBrainedArtist

    • @LeftBrainedArtist

      That and the soft body Artist Loft paint. They make a very "light" white which bubbles up when you roll paint over it.

    What is your base coat, what is the ratio for it?🎨👌

    • @LeftBrainedArtist
      @LeftBrainedArtist  Рік тому

      The base coat was 2 parts pouring medium (Floetrol) to 1 part paint (1/2 artist loft flow acrylic white and half pearl medium by Vallejo)
