What a wonderful video you have made it Sir, I am saving it to my lifetime play list videos. Your dedication towards Sanskrit and Ved Adhyayan Prachar is remarkable and highly appreciable ! Most of the common man's aim is to earn money but you are alltogehter different person. From the bottom of my heart I salute you ! 🙏🙏🙏
Was searching for pronunciation of few letters since so long. This video clear a core concept and gives much more, the Bindu and no Bindu spelling are same words, finally! Thanks for the clear video.
Guruji you are a teacher for millions of people who chant mantras. From your explanation I can correct myself the mistakes what I do while chanting the mantras. You deserve to be considered as pradhana guru.
Thank you for this wonderful, exhaustive video. In such a short span of time you have covered so many grammar rules with so much clarity. This video is going to be a great boon to all Sanskritham and Veda chanting learners. Thank you once again
Really wonderful. At present time no one bothers to take pain to educate the common hindu masses to çhant/ read veda mantras with correct pronunciation. People like me who have never educated at/ in gurukulam or ancient hindu schools will find this video of immense help . My heartiest congratulations to you sir.Sadar namskaram. Kotisah dhanyabadam.
Iam blessed to watch such a wonderful video by Guruji,Sri Arun Hariharan. One must watch this video for learning and improvising the rules of Vedic chanting. The video is made very clearly with sufficient examples and in a systematic way. We rarely come across such talented Gurus. My humble pranams to you sir.
Thank you Sir for this awesome undertaking. You have clearly and comprehensively explained all the Sanskrit rules and its application to Vedic chanting. Great presentation! This is a great blessing and guidance to learners of Veda chanting and Shlokas. 🙏🙏🙏
Sir, your explanation with examples are so clear.many of us are chanting the mantras without following the rules. Thank you as nd namaskars for your sharing this
🙏Namaskaram. Very very useful video for veda readers after retirement. However it is always best to learn from Pandit Chanters/Guruji and then practice. 🙏💐🌹
Thank you. However, please note, learning the Vedas is NOT a pastime "after retirement". Being the most important thing in our whole lives, the prime time of our life time (at least a part of it) must be devoted to learning the Vedas - especially the Brahmachari period. It must be learned at a young age (ideally after Yagnopaveetham at age of 7 or so). It is only at a young age that the Brahmachari boys will be able to learn perfectly and easily. This can then be retained and practised life long. All are requested to encourage Brahmachari boys (age group 7 to 25) in your own family to the learn Veda chanting NOW.
Namaskara Mahodaya You have shared Very Very good and valuable information which most of them don't know. The explanation ofEvery word is very very important.
Thanks for both Excellent Videos Sir. In fact, am searching for such a video for a long time.Very informative and easy to follow. May we expect a follow up Video still elaborating points. Thank you once again. Ramaswami R
Very useful and informative. Thanks for efforts put in. Do you have video on swara uccarana ( swaritham, anudattam etc), rules and related sandhi rules of swara.
Sir.. pronouncing the visarg with a full sound disturbs the meter sanity (syllable count) in shlokas. For e.g. Anusthup metered shlokas may become 8,9, 8,8 . How does one overcome this ? This issue leads me to believe that visarg must always be pronounced as ह with a halant so that the meter of the shloka is maintained. Please advise.
As per the rules of Chandas, the visarga is not counted as a separate Akshara or syllable. e.g. in the line भगवान् देवकी सुत: , there are 8 and not 9 syllables as follows: भ ग वान् दे व की सु त: . The त: is counted a 1 and not 2 syllables.
Yes. Chandas does not treat visarga as an independent akshara. Rather it renders the akshara that it foloows to be treated as Guru. That supports your view about its pronounciation.
