For rare crop, the rarity affects the number of boons reset to common. Only those reset to common by rare crop will increase in rarity
Pally, Rare Crop picks certain boons you have and sets them to common. They are the only ones ever upgraded, and once they are heroic, Rare Crop stops functioning :) I assume the reverse boon from Hera works the same way
It is really surprising for as much as he played Hades 1 that he still doesn't understand how these mechanics work. I guess it shouldn't surprise me anymore, lol.
@@theheadone He doesn't know what miasma does yet. I just don't expect much from him; he's just a fun little guy that we enjoy watching. Not very smart, but still cool.

The combo of faster specials and the Daddy hammer to make your specials bounce gives me a great idea....Same weapon aspect you've got + that hammer, but with Hera on the special. You spread around her hitch SUPER easily that way and every new person hitched still damages all the previous ones affected. Thanks for continuing to make Hades videos!
A tip on Circe. Boosting Omegas is not the only thng it does. While the damage window is open, it restores Magick at an incredibly quick rate, so you don't have to wait to top up before you start blasting. If you have 10/150 Magic left and you've primed Serenity, for example, you can expend the last 10 with an Omega special then do nothing for 5 seconds, forsaking the Omega buff, and you'll come out with almost full Magick reserves at the end. So it's basically a Magick regen boon in itself, as long as you have just a little bit left to activate Serenity.
Serenity also gives massive mana regen too. You should never run out of mana with this aspect
19:40 Like with Chaos' embryo keepsake, you don't need to keep it on to benefit from their effects until the end of the run. It was a mistake to keep it equipped, you'll get the +5 moon upgrades because you had it on.
Pally, When Chronos is doing the suck it is the glowing arc at his feet (He is charging up a projectile that he fires when he finishes) that is hitting you it looks like it covers more than his front 180 degrees. The vacuum isn't doing the damage, you are just standing a bit too close, you can see it at 1:11:25
Aphrodite is really worth getting to 3 boons so you can see her higher boons. One of them makes it so that all damage you deal counts as "close" for her boons. Which would make you not need to be close anymore for your specials in this build for example
Pretty sure you have to complete the shadow extraction and you will unlock the pet treat.
Pally!!! This is by far the best balanced gameplay youve performed in Hades 2! Great job!!!
Chronos is definitely way harder than Eris imo. Even just because Eris is hard-countered by Hestia's sprint boon
Also don't underestimate the magic prime boon of Aphrodite. bonus power to attack and special is a flat bonus BEFORE multipliers. so your "10 dmg" specials you can spam that arent boosted by Aphro due to range would be doing 17 if you took that boost awhile ago instead of her special boon. Food for thought. Oh it boosts attack and special both so yeah its really strong.
Hecate giving strife a hard time for getting in your way to olympus after she has got in your way for almost every other run 😅
Good thing you went out of your way to earn all that extra gold just to leave the final shop with over 600g.

Yeah so I feel like you didn't really utilize the build you had there fully.
Burn mana with the Omega special, then when OOM use basic (non special?), attacks while sitting in your circle. Once full charged go back to Omega spam. Then by the time you're OOM again you should be able to proc Serenity to spam your special some more.
I regularly run Aphrodite on the staff Special and while its a close damage build, unless you get a certain Duo (no hints!), I usually find that the damage is fine.
Momus seems like the most fun for the staff. Circe is a lot of work for a comparatively small boost and Mel aspect is pretty decent, but a bit boring.
Pally, have you considered dodging chronos' attacks?

With Rare Crop being a thing, shouldn't you just always start every run with Demeter's keepsake?
Does Pally have an established schedule for streaming games like Hades II, or does he just go live on a whim and viewers have to hope to catch him before he's 2 hours deep in stream?

32:08 - you missed a ghost. By the way, you will need AT LEAST 1000+ Psyche to finish up your grasp (the amount of how many cards you can activate).

That green icon is hitch. If you can get hitch onto a bunch of enemies at once, every enemy with hitch takes 30% of damage dealt to any other enemy with hitch.
Clearing all those extra rooms in the last biome was utterly pointless. You just lost a bunch of health for no reason.

He finally noticed that Echo could be gifted. I'm happy about that. Took forever because he would immediately move away from her before the prompt would show to gift.

Does Pally even do weed? I haven't heard a hint of that ever. I know that he used to drink wine in large amounts, not sure if he still does.
