Pally holding a grudge for one perceived slight and ignoring someone who helped him previously due to it? Very Greek god, I approve.

Pally you have had many chances to give Nemesis a nectar.
"Trials" are more like themed builds/runs and then they determine a difficultly level based on bonuses and negatives they are giving you. Like one of my favorites was the greed themed run with Karen's Axe aspect. You get a bunch of boons that fit into it, you get bonus gold gain, bonus damage done for having gold, and then the heat penalty of priming mana for every boon rarity beyond common. Such a great new system and I'm really hoping they let us make our own custom Pitch Black Stone trials. I'd love to make one where you have the bell keepsake, all the amplified damage heat negatives and all the daze/dodge boons, maybe the artemis blades aspect, and just really lean hard into the "better not get hit and if you do you'd better be lucky and proc a dodge" theme.
Edit: I suppose with how easy to mod the game is it wouldn't be hard to just mod in your own trials.
I bet Nemesis is coming around later - like that fury did with Zagreus.
I'm not 100% sure if Pally's already seen the message from the fates in the fated scroll, but it made me chuckle to see him gloss right by it after opening the scroll
the selene keepsake does not make her appear more it just adds upgrades unless i read it wrong
This was true until just recently. It was changed in the most recent patch to make her much more likely to appear.

Most of the trials I've done have mostly been a "here's a mini-run with this fun twist to play around with", but there's at least one timed one I couldn't complete until after I ranked up the weapon aspect. Come to think of it, I have a few that I have stockpiled that I should try.. maybe I'll be humbled more lol
Basically I consider them "mini quests" that highlight an aspect of a weapon and actually offer an interesting mix of boons that could work as a setup. Sort of like a guidance towards the player. Once again, SGG demonstrates amply that the know what a computer game should be.

Love you to death Pally and Chaos trials are fun but it's time for you to play with Pan blades (and probably never look back :P )
Edit: the cat is not a they, it's a she and her name is Toula, directly lifted from the Greek word for a small female cat (Gatoula - Γατούλα)
He did a run with aspect of Pan the other day. "Flying Too Close To The Sun". Somehow the first two weapon aspect he played were the "best" ones.
