    Translation for the video:
    Diabetics is caused by improper food and lifestyle.
    Type 1 -caused bcas pancrease doesn’t produce insulin
    Type 2 -caused bcas insulin is high and does not work properly anymore.
    Diabetics can be cured by correcting food and lifestyle.
    Symptoms for diabetics not necessarily visible ,Yet some loose weight , have frequent urination , few do not even have symptom but are diabetic. Only tests can reveal.
    Stress can induce or trigger diabetics. During stress Cortisol and catecolomine hormones get overwhelmed and triggers it.
    Diet :
    Foods to include-
    1. All necessary nutrients shud be from vegetables , even carbs shud be from veg , nonveg - eggs , organ meat
    2. Good fats - like ghee , butter, coconut oil ,Coconut.
    With this diet insulin resistance will reverse into insulin sensitivity.
    Foods to avoid:
    1. Completely avoid carbs and it’s sources from grains. Eg- rice and rice products, wheat and its products ( also no maida - all purpose flour).
    This means no rice , roti , bread and it’s products , no dalia, rava , semolina, no millets like ragi , bajra,...no milk , sweets , sugar bcas sweets and sugar all have carbs.
    2. No unhealthy fats ...which goes through liver and gets stored in body as triglycerides.... fats.
    Unhealthy intake of fats and too much carbs is passed as glucose and handled by insulin. Gets Converted to triglyceride fats ( bad fat) and causes blood vessels to block.
    Which Inturn Causes heart blocks and many other complications.
    Many patients are suggested to take wheat instead of rice for diabetis.
    Including wheat for diabetics is not advisable it’s wrong notion prescribed to patients. Wheat has gluten which is a protein non digest able in intestines. Wheat is universally GMO ( Genetically Modified ) with more pesticide sprayed on it. It should be avoided.
    Diabetics can be put to remission. Maintenance is very important.
    Complications may be like inability to heal wound because
    Complication will be related to high sugar level as well as increased insulin levels . Treating insulin levels ( which is caused by high intake of wrong carbs) can solve high sugar levels.
    Diabetics is not always caused genetic. It is called Epigenetics . Lifestyle is main reason. If lifestyle is bad it can trigger the genetical diabetics. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can surely avoid genetical trigger of diabetics.
    Sleep is very important , esp 10pm to 2 am sleep is very imp to produce good hormones.
    Body weight depends on insulin hormone. To reduce weight reduce the insulin levels. Reduce the stress to reduce cortisol levels.
    Exercise alone cannot help to cure diseases. Exercise alone is not necessary and does nothing when food is not healthy. If you exercise well and forget food control, it doesn’t help.
    Food control , healthy foods along with exercise is best option.
    Types of diabetics
    Type 1 - cells in pancrease gland that produce insulin gets destroyed . Insulin is able to send sugar to cells through receptors. But here it cannot. The Body Goes to ketoacidosis state because muscles and fat from body gets lost due to inability of placement of sugars into the cells in the body. which is more dangerous. These patients are given insulin which later controls sugar levels.
    Type 2- Patients have high sugar high insulin levels,
    Yet insulin doesn’t work at all. When insulin is given to type 2 patient , sugar gets normal but gets converted into fat into liver.
    Giving insulin to type 2 is unadvisable according to doc.
    Imp points to follow:
    1.Food control needed
    2.Good Sleep
    3.Handling Stress
    4.Good Food allows good bacteria to grow and flourish in the gut ( intestine ) which produces serotonin and dopamine in gut. Serotonin and dopamine Helps to reduce Stress and mind to calm down.
    Following all of these helps in weight loss, fat loss, BP control, sugar, insulin control and overall wellness.
    Paleo and this diet looks similar.
    Paleo emphasises more on nonveg( western countries )
    But here it’s emphasized more on veg.
    Even a pure vegetarian person can be cured.
    Test :
    Today age factor for diabetics is hard to find as even young people are susceptible.
    It mostly Depends upon weight.
    Type 1 - Cpeptide and insulin are less
    Type 2 - cpeptide and insulin both are very high
    Fruits and diabetics : fruits have high fructose. Fructose moves to liver and turns into fat in body . It Causes insulin resistance. They are GMO , Pestiside sprayed and they are more sweeter than naturally produced fruits. Avoid them totally.
    Medicine and diabetics- all medicines have side effects. Medicines once taken makes the body to take lifelong. It’s not a solution.
    Diabetics is the outcome expression of body from combination of physiological , chemical and emotional state of body.
    Physiological issue cannot be treated by a chemical( medicine).
    Overall for solution / remission from diabetics have good fats, proteins
    Very less To no carbs from grains.

Normally sugar level in body increases by excessive carbohydrate food, missing exercise, stress increase,some infections etc. Dr explained in true and simple way.     Have been following Type 2 diabetes treatment and management news for two decades. This is the best informative video I have watched. Hats off to you, sir. I wish the video was longer. Watched several parts again. Thank you for this video NewsGlitz and the doctor for sharing his wisdom and experience. Each word is a gem. This is the lifestyle change subscribed by diabetes Australia as well, as it is a lifestyle disorder. So much in line with the latest research - liver, pancreas, gluten, probiotics, endorphins - all explained in a simple way in Tamil. Same low GI effect can be achieved by consuming parboiled basmati (பாசுமதி புழுங்கல் அரிசி ) instead of wheat. For people with insulin resistance, regular exercise helps a lot. Thanks, again.

    What about patients with Diabetes, High Cholesterol & Blood Pressure problems? Usually they are all common among diabetes patients and it very hard to find a balancing diet. Now the trend is switching to plant based diet (like Vegan) which is believed to show promising results. In that case, can we take Fish Oil capsules to control triglycerides?

    I agree what all he said except dont take fruits at all. Fruits can be consume with a minimal amount not excessive.For instance you need potassium to buffer your liver to be more effectively function before the glucose delivered to the blood stream.In fact banana has the most potassium in it.Therefore,its totally unacceptable to say please avoid fruits at all at any cost.

    He is Gem of doctors in the era. He challenged my belief about diabetes, hypertension and obesity. I started my LCHF journey last year and lost 15kg, there is no look back from then.. My parents visited Dr.Vijayaraghavan in Jan 2017 and out of all diabetes medicine now. Many should get benefit from this noble doctor.

      All vegetables except roots, butter, ghee, paneer, greens, saturated fat from meat, eggs, almonds etc. Thumb rule is, the diet should contain 75% saturated fat, 20% protein and 5% carbs(from vegetables). Please consult Dr.Vijayaraghavn if you are under any medication.

    Thanks for some of the useful points. But no clarity on what type of food to take and avoid. You say that no fruits should be taken, then how can we live? many Drs. are suggesting to eat Pappaya, Kova and Bannana once in a week at least. While advising something, it is important about the practical possibilities also.

      As a diabetic patient, I take oats (medium thick in a bigbowl) with 2 eggs (in any form) or any vegetable fry& black tea in the morning. 11am-2 marie biscuits with ginger, turmeric buttermilk or tea with stevia sugar-Afternoon lunch oats or Payaru or parappucc(only one paruppu or soya or payaru) dishes like adai, cutlet, tikki, Vadai, Kabab. Then one keerai, one vegetable kootu& one salad... lemon juice with salt and Stevia sugar...       @@prathapnair4530 millets,oats, pulses, millets and oats also in high carbs so you have to avoid these too, and if you take oats whithin 1 hour you feel hungry you know why? Normal or diabetic patient have to avoid oats too

    You are saying we should avoid all carbohydrates from cereals. So wouldn't the carbohydrate from fruits get converted into triglycerides? I agree with few points though, not fully convinced with what you said about siruthaniyangal.
    If LDL cholesterol and triglycerides are main threat, chew 2tsp of coconut oil (should be free from sulphur and extracted from wooden churner) everyday morning on empty stomach for 3 to 4 months and take blood test. You will be surprised to see the positive result.
    We can control sugar naturally:
    - by switching from polished rice to one time-polished rice,
    - by switching from white rice to millets completely
    - by consuming only organic produce
    - by keeping away from stress, work pressure etc
    - daily minimum half an hour physical work
    - AVOID THESE WITHOUT SECOND THOUGHT - maida (all purpose flour), white sugar, white salt (processed), Jersey milk and milk derivatives and refined cooking oils
    - If you get original country cow's milk, take it which will help to beat the sugar.
    - Get your cooking oil personally by extracting from wooden churner churner
    - use only coconut oil, sesame oil and groundnut oil for cooking
    etc.....etc.....
