Also I figured out that I didn't need to removed the exhaust shielding. You actually don't even to remove the muffler. I started out thinking I was going to remove the whole exhaust system but changed my mind due to time constraints. Thanks for watching!
Yes it helped a lot. I’d say at least 50% less heat. It was unbearable before and we had to stop to allow our legs to cool down. Now it still has heat but well worth the work. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
@@willieswayz I will also do this to my 1000 to help out since you said it helps that much. I already built my own exhaust tip. I hunted a 4" stainless washer with 2" id and a 2" ss short 90 pipe from amazon. $20 all in and it works great. My machine is new so i was able to reuse the stock gasket off the original tip.

I find it easier to just heat shield wrap my leg.
That does sound easier lol
Did it cut down on heat at all? Mine has become unbearable riding in the summer against my legs.

Okay I’ll let you know
Take the converter out. That's the heat issue.
I’m looking into that also. Probably try and do that before summer. Thanks for watching!
