Great honest review Jason, thank you.
Everything's awesome on this ATV thanks for sharing with us! 🦾
Our pleasure!
Its not just a one up machine, its such a comfortable 2 up machine especially for the passenger. Love the 800. Smooth riding as hell
@rickgarcia8481 I thought the 800 was a 2 up meaning that it has a longer wheel base than for instance a CF500 or 600 which are strictly 1 up.
and for the price range, its very good
600 comes in the stretched two up as well as single. 500 and 400 is single only
I think the steering is "wandery" for lack of a better term. Mine doesn't twitch, it just never wants to follow a set path, it wanders. Like the power steering is never quite happy so it pushes a bit to one side or the other going down a gravel road at say 45mph. Trail riding I never notice it because I'm weaving all over obstacles on a trail usually anyway. That and the lack of storage are my two complaints.
I have the 1000 overland and 100% you explained how my power steering feels too
I just bought the same one in gray a month ago for $7300. It is a very nice machine.
Enjoyed the video.....I have the 2023 800XC in blue. I like watching various owners videos for any insight and the different scenery you ride in. Gorgeous area in are in.
Thank you! I live in the Appalachian Mountains of central Pennsylvania.
I'm inTallahassee, Florida and mainly ride on powerline trails and the Apalachicola National Forest @@AppalachianMountainRiders
Make sure to tell him to trade it in before the warranty goes out. It'll wind up costing in the long run. That's the experience I had with mine. All before 500 miles.
I traded my wolverine for a cfmoto 950 sport ho I'm very happy cfmoto has come a long way.
Yes C Force machines are better than years ago and worth the money today.
I’m really looking at getting one. I have a sportsman 850 I was traded for my old camper I’m going to keep for 1 year to test and review then after that I may just have to pick a cforce for my next long term tester!
Do the machines come with hand warmers?
I bought my first utility quad in 22. I went with a polaris 570 trail. A buddy of mine bought the overland and paid the same price I did. He got way more machine I got a way better ride.
That’s one thing that Polaris always have over anything else. The ride is great no matter what model!
Your kidding right? The overland is a much better value, and it's not close. The 1000 smokes the 570
Absolutely the overland smoked the 570. It definitely doesn't have the ride of any polaris. @rickgarcia8481
@daxmorlock7846 I've owned polaris, Honda and cf moto. And at this point for the money the cf moto is just a better value. I sold my polaris 570, it did ride nice but just wasn't exciting. I also had several issues in 2 years, while my cf moto after a year and a half has not had one issue. It's a beast. I also have a cf moto 800 xc which in some ways like its engine smoothness characteristics. It's much less abrupt.
My buddies cf has only had a problem with bolts on the plastics coming out. I now have a 850 sportsman so i have the same power and the ride. I've always been a sport quad guy. With that being said i do lije the clutching on the cf moto and can am. If im going to ride a old man quad i want the comfy ride.@@rickgarcia8481
I have a grizzly 700, and I live in the PNW. So a bit of everything, especially wet stuff. Hills steep and long. Mud. Wet roots. I honestly don't see the need for a 1000. My 08 Grizzly, which is actually a 686, has more than enough power to do anything I feel safe doing. A V-Twin 800 for a 2up would be the same thing. Other than just wanting to accelerate faster, and super deep mud, I don't see a purpose for a 1000 on an ATV.
I had same grizzly 700 but was an 07. Sold it and been regretting ever since. Been looking at one these cfmoto 800 for me and the kids as a replacement
Can’t decide between a one seater Can-Am 700 XT and this two seater 800 XC, seems like they both might have equally good suspension for a smooth ride, which would you prefer and why (assuming you don’t need a second rider)? Great video thanks!
That’s the same questions I’m facing as I would like to get either an HD7 or cforce 600 this summer. Best bang for buck definitely goes to cfmoto but I’m leaning more forwards the HD7 myself. I really like the can am’s and as I stated in this video I don’t like the how light the power steering is on the 800xc. On the other hand I’m not a fan of the Visco lock 4x4 of the can am’s so to get a model with diff lock means more money…lol. Right now though I’m leaning towards ward the HD7 as I love the storage compartments they have, the tri mode power steering is better then the cfmoto’s, the can am is quieter, and it’s hard to beat can am accessory integration!
I too miss the atv riding. Can't afford a SxS these days. especially when it just doesn't get used as much. CF MOTO shows alot of great stuff for the price but unsure of reliability and etc
Great video! I think CFMoto makes a nice looking machine. Just worry about it's dependability though.
Tommy lives in South Carolina and A LOT of people down there run CFmoto. He said he sees very little issues with them that isn’t operator error or just plain neglect and abuse.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
🤶🎅🎄🦌🙏❄️
And you as well!
Can this be street legal in your state?
What brand and where did you get rear storage boxes
Those are the CFMoto boxes. They come standard on the 1000 outlander.
Does the power steering have more than one setting?
It does not. If it had a set up like can am tri mode power steering it would be awesome!
Is is a twin or a single cylinder?
It’s a twin
Bro is that all your property?
Yes it is. Blessed with around 300 acres.
@@AppalachianMountainRiders WOW!! When you got out in the open i forgot i was watching a 4 wheeler video! I bet fall time is insane!!
It kind of irks me when I see guys spinning tires when they could avoid it if they just went 4x4 right away. So many trails where I live get torn up and have to make new trails around because people just chew them up. I don't know why he thought he could go through mud like that in 2wd.
Because the hole is on my own private property and I use it specifically to test out stock tires and 4wd😂😂😂😂😂
And FYI, I get through that hole just fine in 2wd when I’m not trying to intentionally get stuck😉

hi
👋🏻
Great looking machines and they definitely copied Can am atv’s & side by sides. Especially the newer trail and sport side by sides. They even copied the name. Lol
