Great to see Trevor again! I was his office-mate for a while at EEI in El Segundo before they finished building the electronics lab. Steve Millen, one of the drivers for that car eventually started Stillen, the aftermarket parts store for Nissans and other cars. Love the Nissan history.

The Nissan factory race cars are not of this world. I fell in love with these mighty machines back when i first played Gran Turismo 4 on the ps2 years ago when the game just cam out. I remember the nasty crash at Watkins Glen with Steve Millen and Johnny O'Connell in 93. I used to love going to WG and watch the ISMA and Trans Am series run there.
This is the reason I love the old Nissans, you just got to love an underdog that just keeps pushing for perfection. So much pride and racing pedigree Nissan has. Granted newer Nissans don't have that same feeling.

I don’t know about the Nissans but our little Pinto engines ran boost in the 80’s, higher for qualifying. One addendum, the taillights were, as they pointed out, stock but I believe the roofs were too. Had to be steel roofs but, there were games played there also. An amazing era, I’m glad that I was a part of it.
Dope. I used to watch this car run when I was little. Nice to get to see under the body and especially having the person that designed it. Dope episode.
Knowing how iconic this Z is, if you could place the winning bid, would you rip it or hard park it?
