Thank you so much for hanging out with us and sharing our giveaway Z32, Larry! Good luck to the winner, we can't wait to see who wins this incredible car!
Larry hit it right in the head. Over seas they got the R chasis and we got the Z. So grateful I had a z32 2+2. I just wasn’t ready mentally and financially delve deep into it. It will always be my first and favorite car. Thanks Larry and thank you Z1.
Always had a slight interest in these. The owner of the shop who helped with our turbo e36 back in the early-mid 00s talked about his z32 super fondly. He had big power porsches, bmws, subarus, etc. But his 800+ hp Z he had in the 90s he always talked about. They must be pretty special.
Built one of these back in 03/04 as part of an Engineering senior project. I have 1st hand experience in how hard it is to work on this platform. This car sounds almost identical to my Dad's old Z that we modified that had B&B exhaust (no cats) and HKS BOV's
I'm so sorry for "spamming" the comments but I can't stop pausing this vid and coming back here to say more as I see more of how extraordinarily MINT this car is!? I can't even wrap my head around how well this car was kept!? That interior is STELLAR for a car this old, HOW?!!! Whoever won/wins this car, you are one lucky sob!
These cars are just built that way. The quality to top-notch in every way. Just keeping it clean does the job. My 200K mile 300Z still looks great inside and everything works too (lights, switches, features like HICAS, etc.) Just a stellar car to own and enjoy!
My grandmother (an old Japanese/Korean woman, all of 5ft 2in tall, and an absolute firecracker!😈) always had a Z. Every generation from the 270 to the 300, my Pop would buy her a new one (we were a Nissan family). Her last one was an '89 300zx (Z31) Twin-Turbo, manual, in Black & Gold. And she drove it like a bat outta Hell!!! I remember being in almost every one of them as a youngin and feeling like I was on a rollercoaster, with the way my Gram drove! Lol! After getting pulled over doing 83mph in a 35mph, on her way to work, my grandfather said, "No more Z's! Or any other sports car for that matter!" so she (we) missed out on the Z32. And it's been my dream car ever since.
In the early 2000’s I bought a red 96 300zx tt from a collector with 22k miles and to this day was one of the best driving cars I’ve ever owned. I can only imagine how this one drives
When I made my UA-cam channel back when I was a teenager I named it after my dream car. Now I’m 35 and own my exact username 92300zxTT, same colour as this one! Great video Larry and amazing build Z1!!
The v6s of this era JDM cars are underrated sound wise. A lot of the love goes to the I6 and i4 cars. I think the z32 was the best looking of those coupes available in america. It has a muscular wedge shape that really make it look the part lining up with a C4 or C5. I noticed that even the 240 can end up looking dated with a ton of mods. I think that speaks to the grand touring cockpit, and what the quality of the interior does for a car like this. People at the time saw it as a luxurious choice vs something like a mustang or camaro. Those four lug fellas sure love the hubs and brakes. How many builds on this channel end up with a z32 conversion? I like this build so much because its not the typical all caps four inch letter STILLEN catalog build. Cheers fellas.
Z32 will be always one of my sentimental favorites. My parents bought a 2+2 Z32 right when I started driving. I learned to drive stick on it (well, I really learned on a Mk III Supra!) and later came to drive it for 2 years when I first started working and bought it off my Dad. It was a freaking UFO when it came out. So far ahead of other cars. It was a really robust car although in our care it suffered ah, a few accidents. LOL. I remember that my Dad looked at this vs. the Stealth and this blew it away. It was such a cool car. The shifter felt soooo good and while mine was a N/A 2+2 (could only be slower if it was an auto, lol) it was an amazing car to own in my early 20's. I was so lucky.
I have a bunch of Z1 parts on my D40 and they're amazing! Always loved the Z32, a friend had one in high school back on the day. Still looks great today!
I was 13 when this car came out. It was such a game-changer for the sports cars industry. 300 HP was huge back then. I still remember the price tag on these. $39k. It was expensive, but it also was right around the 1991 recession. My friend worked at a Nissan dealership in 1991-1993. I got to see them up and close back then. Even the Maxima SE was awesome! This car is very special to me. I want one some day.
I've always loved the Z32. I used to call it my favorite car. Might still be. Wish we saw more of them like this one. I'd rather look at a 300zx than a skyline any day.
I am one of those lucky guys who graduated from anesthesiology residency in the Bronx, and got a brand new dark silver black interior fantastic car that I had for four years before I sold it to a very good friend who kept it for another 10 years. Absolutely love this car. Want one now
@@ronwilliams621 the creator of the car said it was heavily inspired by American muscle cars. there is an article by jalopnik where the creator talks about how he lived in America for a couple years studying muscle car culture and then came back to japan with the explicit intentions of making a JDM muscle car that would sell well in America. its pretty much a fact that the 300zx is a JDM take on a muscle car.
I miss my Z1 build 300zx. Had a na auto swapped to a TT 5-spd. Had doolZ intake, stage 1 Z1 turbos, twin computer chip, and pushed 35lbs of boost that got me 11.75 at 125 in the 1/4 and it was so much fun. I remember picking it up in Temple, GA from the barn shop with endless donor Z’s and special ordered JDM parts. I’d love to have one again.
In 97 I found a 92 twin turbo with 30,000 miles. Artic white with factory chrome wheels, was a cream puff. Absolutely loved that car, should have kept it.
I’m really glad Larry talks about the 300ZX, specifically the 300ZXTT, as being one of the JDM legends. This car is sick! And unfortunately, it’s been laid by the wayside to other cars of the same era, such as the Supra and NSX, in terms of pricing and collectibility. But it’s still not that “expensive”, even though it was a pinnacle 90’s JDM car that was also involved in the gentleman’s agreement…
I must win this car. I love it.❤ Back in 95 I was going to buy either a 92’ 300zx in silver non turbo auto or a 95’ Jetta GLX. I bought the Jetta and eventually added a Turbo and stand alone ems . I now drive a Gr Supra and I really want to go back to this era vehicle.
Forever my GOAT. Had an NA when I was 18 and was obsessed with it. Twin Turbo was always a dream. About to be 40, and they just keep getting more expensive 😭
The best looking Z of all. The interior was so ergonomically correct. Yes, a nightmare to work on and maintain due to parts, complexity, and availability and space in the engine bay. They were also heavy.
Man! I love it when people ACTUALLY KNOW wtf JDM means! I'm so glad they identified "JDM" parts and didn't just call the 300ZX a JDM car, especially since it's left-hand drive.

They really need to bring this car back. They’ll never re-release the same car but with just subtle changes and updated interior materials would all we could ask for.
I had two TTs and one NA. I’ve had a lot of cars since but nothing has ever felt as cool to me as my 94 TT the day I bought it in 97. I was 21 and felt like could die happy that day lol!

Good lord this one is how I would have mine built. I wanna roll let’s go for a drive guys I’m in Noho! Lol
They aren't that hard to work on. In the 90s yes they were difficult compared to other car but now there are so many cars that are much harder to work on

It has age so well. In white pearl with crome wheels is the sexyest looking. This car is very easy to drive unlike the 280ZX turbo that can be a handful but fun 😊
My friends dad had a white with black leather TT 300Z and I’ll never forget asking him what the “Stillen” decal across the top of the windshield meant…..and then he told me to get in and I soon realized what it meant lol.
Gorgeous car, perfect body kit 👌 What I would do if it was mine: Get rid of that awful color, these cars look gorgeous in the factory Green they came in, the White Pearl or even a Midnight Purple 1 from the skyline would look cleeeeen. Delete that rear windshield wiper Get rid of the texture on lower rear bumper and make smooth Tint the carbon fiber in candy black so it's less in your face and more subtle Wheels are two ricey, I'd get the oem wheels, get them stepped up in to a two piece 18" wheel with polished lip and hypersilver centers and polished rivets all around 👌
I had a 1990. It's a bummer that they switched the sporty 3 spoke steering wheel in 1991, or was it 92, when they put airbags. Made it look like a Maxima or something.
Hey I like Z cars, I wonder why yiu never mentioned Mitsubishi VR4, these cars are also ahead of the time with technology, besides that I like your videos!
This was my first car in high school back in the mid-90s. I have a gold 92 with rear-end damage that I would like to make into a track project car. Z1, interested?
In 2004 I had one I took the T tops off set the cruise control on and stood up driving down the road I love my Z I threw a rod in it and got rid of it bc I was a young kid but now I have a 91 I put butterfly doors on it and it looks amazing
Man a friend from high school his mom bought one of these and about 3 months later my mom bought a black with gold wheels gold writing IROC Z Ttop 5 so we went out one weekend a rich kid had his dads Viper and we went to bust his head he wasn't much of a driver so we walked all over him but my buddy spun the crank bearings I pulled him home with my moms Iroc lmao the car was mother of pearl had about 46k miles on it and it sat in his yard for about 20 years I tried buying it twice and he eventually scrapped it 😥

this was my dream car .. as I'm older .. and owner of a R35 with over 80oWHP .. I STILL WANT THIS !!!!
I gave up my '95 300ZX when my first child was born.
Now he drives a 350Z.
The circle is complete.
Why did you give it up bro, I would of kept it for my kid. But I'm only 26 so idk what I'm talking about lol
I would have gave up the kid and kept the car.
The 300ZX is the best looking Z car in my opinion.
only the 90s ones, not the 80s ones
@@alexander1485 yes the Z32.

This and the 240Z IMHO.
Yes, they are. The design was beautiful
Clean, and in my opinion one of the best looking Z cars.

They are wonderful driver’s cars. World class back in the day when new and still hold up.
Yeah they’re awesome cars! Pretty sure one of them actually still holds the land speed record for it’s class of 260mph that was set in the 90s.
The Z32 is actually an 80's car.
Developed in the 80's and released in '89 for the JDM market.
😍the Z32 is the best looking car Nissan ever designed period😍
Agreed 100% they are Eye catching! Nissan Nailed it with the Z32 another Eye catcher from Nissan is the R35 GTR

I had a 1990. It's a bummer that they switched the sporty 3 spoke steering wheel in 1991, or was it 92, when they put airbags. Made it look like a Maxima or something.
I still want one of these.. my first car was a 280zx then an 84 and 85 300zx. I just could not afford this one when they came out.
Yes yes yes 😍😍😍
the perfect 300ZX were the Stillen Z's
I owned a brand new one and it was identical to that one in your video. In its day it was quiet fast 😁 loved the car ❤

Absolutely beautiful work
As far as cutting edge technology, the 3000GT VR4 was the only car that came close.
Hey
I like Z cars, I wonder why yiu never mentioned Mitsubishi VR4, these cars are also ahead of the time with technology, besides that I like your videos!

This was my first car in high school back in the mid-90s. I have a gold 92 with rear-end damage that I would like to make into a track project car. Z1, interested?
God I want one of these so bad but the engine is so terrifying
In 2004 I had one I took the T tops off set the cruise control on and stood up driving down the road I love my Z I threw a rod in it and got rid of it bc I was a young kid but now I have a 91 I put butterfly doors on it and it looks amazing
What does one need to do to win this beauty? 😮
I also owned the 3000Gt in Martinique yellow
