Dang I just saw this comment lol
Tyrod was actually 3rd on the roster behind matt cassel, and Ej manuel. He worked his way to being starter, it wasn't given it was earned...
He got screwed by the team doctor fs
FivePoints Vids Don’t forget when Drew Brees got hurt while playing for the chargers that was the NFL career birth for Philip Rivers
dude he’s pretty bad lmaooo. he’s the walmart version of teddy bridgewater
Tyrod Taylor: I guide others to a treasure that I cannot possess
Facts yo
Omg he’s the red skull of the NFL
Damnnn...
The Barbossa of the first movie
Taylor got some money&the immortal ring
Tyrod is such a class act. Not a world beater at QB but grinds out wins everywhere he goes. He'll always be the guy who ended the drought
ZrACKs ultRa Homie was throwing to Charles clay and zay jones. im surprised he had 14 lmao
ZrACKs ultRa several teams disagree. Go have the injuries he's had and see if you even make it to a NFL team...oh wait you haven't had the injuries and still can't. Shut the hell up dude. Taylor can definitely start and literally the whole comment section disagrees with you
Andy Dalton ended the drought. Taylor couldn't beat Dalton earlier in that season.
@ZrACKs ultRa And Andy Dalton. I mean Bills fans weren't donating to Taylor's charity at $5 a pop, they were donating to Dalton's at $14 a pop.
Drows3y_Tiger damn dude. This is why you don’t make ignorant insults about people. He just dropped fact bombs all over your argument and the funniest part is that he’s absolutely right 😂. He’s not a starting QB. You’re clearly just saying that bc other people are lol
Tyrod Taylor is honestly underrated, dude is a pretty good runner and decent passer, he’s just had the unfortunate luck of getting injured.
New York Thunder maybe not, but still, people don’t give enough credit to Tyrod Taylor as they should. He’s a very good runner and a decent passer, he pretty much led the Bills to their first playoff appearance in 2017 since 2002.
One Gamer Productions nah the defense led the bills to the playoffs tyrod is just a guy who won’t kill u and will make the occasional play
Tyrod Taylor is a below average starter and an above average backup. Stop trying to make him into something he's not.
One Gamer Productions I love tyrod, but you have to realize the bills weren't good enough to have the antithesis of an average, safe qb in Buffalo. He will always be a legend here for breaking our 17 year drought.
Troispoint I’d say he’s an average starter, but not many people outside of Bills fans really give him any credit.
Well, it happened again. Tyrod has launched Davis Mills into starting QB spot. We love you Tyrod. You aren’t forgetting
now he's onto the Giants so Daniel Jones career will take off 😂
I feel bad for him
@@jonathanfrimerman8855 DJ had a great szn this year as well 💀
He's the antithesis of Ryan Fitzpatrick, young QBs are guaranteed to start when he's around
Lol nah Fitzpatrick is backwards you know your QB is going down if he’s on the roster
@@gorillapimp1976 that's what he's saying
He’s way better though
Fitzception
Imagine them on the same roster 😳
Good video. I feel bad I actually think he's a good QB
He’s not. Average sure. Good? No.
@Wesley EP idk 100% about that at least when he was on the bills. I’m from Buffalo and while watching the games he just didn’t seem that good but idk him on the browns I didn’t watch that
He is at least a top 10 quarterback of all time so he is elite

I'll always remember being his server at Olive Garden in Hampton when he was Ravens backup....he was super chill and down to earth. He kindly offered an autograph after I told him I was a Ravens fan and my sister went to Tech. Cool to see NFL players actually be good people. Hope he gets another chance
Hampton hon! I met him Owings Mills couple times very nice indeed!
TT was a great guy in the community in Buffalo.
I remember going to KFC this one time in Whitehall and guess who went to the local high school. That’s right Saquon Barkley. I was standing in line and then I noticed...they forgot my sauce. Anyways I sat down and ate and never saw Saquon to begin with.
So cool!! Thanks for sharing that man!
Ill take him with the 49ers right now. I dont trust any of my QBs....even Jimmy G.
Bears need to sign Tyrod. Maybe he can finally get them a franchise QB
Maybe
But no QB will do good with the terrible O line that they have (almost never gets talked about)
Andy Dalton’s going there now. Taylor is a Texan now.
Yall have Justin Feilds
@@Honeywheremysupersuit That's why Tyrod would've been perfect. I Fields is as good as they say.
@@tfromcali89 and now we possibly have a qb for a while because tyrod was unlucky... Again
Imagine you're recounting your NFL career years later and opening with "It all started with a case of medical malpractice..."
Jeeves Anthrozaur *ended
TheAlex445 *started, he is talking the chargers backup
I think Tyrod has a great history of having selfish players. Players who have held down many black men. Like the Raheem Morris led Buccaneer team. It was simply impossible to find a team in history that was more black.
😂😂😂
The doctor had herbert in fantasy
"...to their fertile QB, Phillip Rivers..."

Lol Rivers has more kids than Brady has rings!
Children 9
I feel as if Tyrod Taylor is an unlucky QB that can't start because of injuries.
The Anti Fitzpatrick?!?
His name isn't Andrew Luck.
Oh yeah? I feel the sky is blue. Just one man's insight.
Hottest take ever
Nah aint no accident. They did it on purpose to bring the new kid in. We all know it will be a slop fest with tyrod taylor playing that game
As a die hard Bills fan, Tyrod is an absolutely amazing player. He brought us back to the playoffs after so many years of missing it. Very underrated.
“Eli Manning and himself”
Gone they are, My sides.
Eli is ass
@@thegolden807 he's ass but I'll take his lucky ass stopping 2 NE rings. Not a Giants fan, just happy that NE lost.
Thank Eli Manning, Pats didnt go 19-0
tucker and strahan stopped brady eli was just there
@@salamipitza ok yeah but eli contributed to that game i agree that the defense carried the game
And now he launched 5 careers because Davis mills is probably gonna be the Texans starter for a while.
And Tyrod Taylor still has more Super Bowl rings than the Chargers, Bills, and Browns combined.

Don’t the browns have a super bowl ring? Or was their success before the nfl and afl merged I can’t remember
So, just being on a winning roster makes you successful? Even though not on field? Plenty of sh*t players are wearing rings...
Drew Bledsoe was the original Tyrod Taylor. he launched Tom Brady and Tony Romo
No...Steve Deberg
Tyrod Taylor, as the making of this video, has more super bowl rings than Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Lamar Jackson, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, Deshaun Watson, Michael Vick, Phillip Rivers, Dak Prescott, Jay Cutler, Carson Palmer, Andy Dalton, Fran Tarkington, Josh Allen, Ryan Tannehill, Rex Grossman, Mark Sanchez, RG3, Jamis Winston, Marcis Mariota, Matt Cassel, Matt Schaub, Kirk Cousins, Dan Fouts, Doug Flutie, Kerry Collins, Boomer Esiason, Donovan McNabb, Matt Hasselbeck, Jim Kelly, Randall Cunningham, Derek Carr, Josh McCown, Colin Kaepernick, and Jared Goff COMBINED. @@bobbysflyinghat3722 He was QB2 when the Ravens won against the 49ers.
90sromanceluvr ah
Andrew Luck is retire now.
@Colin Weeks Ummm, no. Marino and Moon are retired as well.
Now that he lost his job to Hebert. The doctor is gonna be in some big time legal trouble for costing Taylor his starting job due to his negligence.
In all fairness, he probably would’ve ended up losing his starting job to Herbert anyway
@@deanmachine1734 I would agree. Chargers lost a lot of close games last season. When a team is losing a lot or just middling, making a change at QB can happen to provide some spark. Anthony Lynn, the coach of the chargers, lost his job at the end of the season because the team just could not get over the hump. If Tyrod did not become a victim of malpractice, I think he would have gotten more starts but eventually seen the bench for Herbert as Lynn and the Chargers organization in general would want to see what they got with their high pick and keep their jobs as long as possible. More starts could have led to Tyrod getting a better job now. I hope he does well in Houston, but there are already some people that don't want to be QBs in houston...
Tyrod Taylor is a Solid QB, but always injured, he's the D Rose of nfl quarterbacks.
Yeah but without the magical MVP season.
RG3 is the d rose of qbs
waffleman I would attribute that to rg3. Rose was an mvp tyrod never even near there
@@bondel- agreed.
Yeah cuz tyrod Taylor was the mvp of the nfl and then injuries slowed down his career
I was around 11 when Tyrod was at tech and I was just starting to understand football. Being from VA he was my favorite player and is 100% the reason I love football... the way his career has gone has made me so sad. I really think he is better than people give him credit for. just damn unlucky
Honestly feel bad for him but he was stuck in situations where teams we’re rebuilding. Also doesn’t help that the doctor punctured his lung.
Why is that? Because he's not a franchise QB.
John McCall he is teams don’t know how to coach him lol he
John McCall or his teams never built around him. If Andy Dalton can get a 8 years of a team building around him he should too.
@@MartyMcFly__25 Why should he? Just because somebody else got that? That makes no sense. You obviously don't understand the game. Dalton was drafted to be a starter, Taylor was never drafted to be a starter, that is why the team was "built", as you put it, around Dalton. Taylor was drafted as a backup QB and Rex Ryan gave him a shot to be a starter in Buffalo. Those are completely different circumstances. You are comparing apples to oranges and acting like they should be the same. If you want to say Taylor is a better QB than Dalton then you have an argument but to honestly think a team would build an offense around him for 8 years? That just doesn't happen for guys that are drafted to be backup QB's too often, especially when they are game managers that consistently quickly opt for the checkdown and don't make vertical attempts. He is good but can be drafted every year in the middle rounds. Also, the Bengals aren't exactly a model franchise, pretty sure no other teams model themselves after the Bengals.
@@MartyMcFly__25 EXACTLY🥇✅💯
Tyrod Taylor throws one of the prettiest deep passes of anyone. His character and humility lets him remain underrated. He could start for several teams now and dramatically improve them.
I feel for the man. He's been screwed over so many times. But, at least he can say that he achieved his dream and played in the NFL. I don't play football, I play soccer. But, if I was ever given an offer to even be on the roster of a pro team, not even start or play, i'd be hype asf.
Exactly my hope is to make it to the nfl I don’t care if it’s practice squad are not
YG99 Y’all aren’t gonna make it anywhere with that attitude. Y’all need to have that attitude when y’all retire not when you just started
@@urmomsmom6284 definitely aim for the highest possible and if you only make a practice team when your career is done you can say I made it that far thats impressive but don't do it before your done bad attitude
8:40 “Chargers waive goodbye to their fertile QB” 😂😂 The man has like 10 kids lol
Still doesn’t beat my 22 careers in Trampoline hockey
I've ended multiple peoples sports careers on trampolines
Shit we did everything possible with a trampoline
Well yes that is a given.
5:40 "The role of teaching allen how to throw PICKS went to NathanPeterman..." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
As a Bills fan I have a lot of love and the upmost respect for Tyrod Taylor. He helped snap our 17 year playoff drought and that’s something I’ll never forget as a fan. When Tyrod played for us our offense was nowhere near as well built as it is now and I feel if we didn’t draft Josh Allen, Tyrod could step in and perform very well with the tools we have now. I really hope Tyrod gets his break because he deserves it, fate keeps throwing hurtles in his path but Tyrod is someone who never gives up. This is just another one of those hurtles for him to get over. Tyrod is definitely good enough to not be on a bench and I do believe he’ll find his home. Man deserves a fair shot.
When you read shit like "Days later, it was revealed the Chargers' team doctor accidentally punctured Taylor's lung while administering a painkiller injection prior to the game" you know this guy had bad luck.
Look at his numbers when he was playing for weeks at a time. This guy is...damn good I say.
Are we looking at the same numbers? Bc it’s the opposite of good
Good thing Taylor has a ring to look at. Granted as #2 behind Flacco, but hey sometimes you take what you can get. Because after that.... well 5 pts shows you here. Good vid, sir!
I was really excited when he came to Cleveland, I've always considered him starting caliber at least. The "I'm not a bridge QB, I'm a QB" comment meant a lot to me. That's the mentality u want in a player
I was a massive Tyrod fan when I was in elementary and middle school watching him play at VT when I was a tech fan. I always rooted for him
Tony Romo is a beloved announcer but did he really have a *successful* career? 🤔
Serious question cause all I remember is Cowboys 8-8 like every year, I don't pay much attention.
Every Hokie watching this: "IT'S PRONOUNCED TIE-ROD"
Not according to his mom, its Tuh-Rod.
Don’t forget he launched the career of the 🐐
yup nathan peterman
I mean, Peterman's greatest achievement was probably scoring a TD against the Saints 2nd team defense? Of course it is really impressive that he managed to throw 5 INTs in one half lol
he played with trace mcsorley?🤨
@@ryapowa Beating Clemson somehow was his biggest achievement.
@@patricka3583 well if he stayed at Baltimore then they’d probably only have him, rg3, and lamar on their roster
Sush a sad story. I remember he was the first star that got me into football back when my dad would have the family watch Vrigina Tech games. He was the first player I remember and the first guy I saw in person at a football game. Im glad he has a ring but he deserves so much more. I love you Tyrod!
tyrod taylor is the equivalent of a quarterback in MUT
And Tyrod Taylor still has more Super Bowl rings than the Chargers, Bills, and Browns combined.
He actually went to my church and high school, really chill and cool guy and can take a joke. Just got bad luck
I've always liked him too. Criminally underrated and unlucky

Lowkey need that manscaped thing but scared to ask my mom for it lmao
I love Tyrod Taylor. He's just so unlucky.
I am from Ohio and tbh not being a browns fan and just listening to media I thought Tyrod was just bad his first two games. This is eye opening. RIP to the millions he's missed out on.
I'm from OH too.
Tyrod "The Anti Fitzpatrick" Taylor
As a Bills fan. I loved Taylor he had so much potential and that was why it was so frustrating to watch him not make plays when he needed too. That was one reason why things didn’t work out in Buffalo. The other is it was Rex Ryan who signed him and he got fired after serving 2 of his 4 year contract.
Bring back the "Dick Clippers" manscaped intro that was the best one yet also never stop making these video.
Lorena Bobbitt gave him a copyright strike, as she feels she has the right to be called 'Dick Clippers..." even though she only did it one time!!
Tyrod Taylor is a great game manager: Few long passes, 100+ QBR, lot of 3 4 yard runs and slides. I truely believe that he could win a ring on a team that fits PERFECTLY to his game. Still will never be the super super star... which is fine
No team is winning a superbowl with qb that will checkdown 98% of the game , he SUCKS
@@Xhabit300 just out of curiosity, who’s you favorite quarterback then?
@@coronaproductions7085 my favorite? Deshaun watson or russell wilson , of all time? Steve young
I could agree with that. Russ is underrated and I hope deshaun comes to Miami lol
As a Hokie and Bills fan, Tyrod is genuinely one of the most solid and fun quarterbacks I have seen play the game. At Tech he was initially seen as Michael Vick reincarnated. He never got close to Vick's level (nobody will) but won us some really tough games. I will always love him most for leading the Bills to ending than painful playoff drought. In the NFL, he's one of those guys right on the edge of being an okay starter but probably will remain a great backup option in his future.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him retire at some point soon or at least take the year off. Herbert looks good enough to convince the coaches he's good to go.
Great player. Great Character.
Go Hokies. Go Bills.
perfectly said although no need to put so many spaces. Just write it in 1 paragraph. But yea initially he was looked at as Michael vick 2,.0 but yeah never came close. No one will even Lamar jackson despite him breaking his record and being faster than hhim
Go Bills.
The 2019 Steelers would have made a legit playoff run with Tyrod under center.
Dr. Nick: "Hiya Tyrod Taylor!"
Tyrod Taylor: 😠
I remember we had to have a rule in our Madden CFM that you couldn’t sign Tyrod in his rookie Madden because he was Vick-lite
*Talks about how the Ravens signed somebody with a similar playing style as tyrod after he left and shows picture of Lamar*
RG3: Am I a joke to you?
RG3 only had straight line speed and was propped up by a system.
"The role of teaching Allen how to throw picks" im dying lmao 🤣 😂 💀 😆 😭 🤪
I was just saying to my friend. This dude can't catch a break. Thank you for making this video.
I Went to High School with Ty. Real cool dude. Gave our school them rings.
3:24 as a heads up it was Super Bowl 47, not 48.
Great vid though. He was always interesting to me for his short time in Bmore, and I'd always hoped he'd find success elsewhere. He did find success, but not his own it seems...
That’s what I was thinking, I wasn’t sure if anyone had said it yet tho.
Super Bowl XLVII was in 2013, while Super Bowl XLVIII was in 2014.
0:40 you welcome
0:28 “Terrod Taylor”
that’s actually how it’s supposed to be pronounced, everyone just calls him “tie-rod”
That’s his name but I think Tierod just sounds cooler so everyone sticks with it
@@oakleygee5616 how is it supposed to be pronounced like that
Magic Mann ask him
I wonder if Chip Kelly would have lasted longer with the Eagles had he accepted Tyrod's request for a workout. Instead we got a season of Bradford in a watered down Kelly offense (which, let's be real, was already a watered down NFL offense).
Given that Kelly's firing directly led to a Super Bowl I'm glad he didn't, but still an interesting "what if".
Tyrod Taylor’s career was bad because of bad coaches, injuries and well team doctors
And that fact he couldnt throw farther than 10 yards
Gav Millz well he had the exact same coach’s Lamar Jackson has now and he only missed 4 games due to injury in his entire career. So you have no idea what you are talking about.
...and he wasn't that great and limited in ability. If he QB's for your team, you'd understand. Robert Woods fled Buffalo.
Blizzardtakescare Of himself I kind of prematurely made this comment
@@blizzardfromjuice the guy was benched for Peterman, his coaches have been bad
Josh Allen and mayfield both are doing very good rn, Taylor was just snubbed
It's Patrick Mahomes. Don't let momma Mahomes hear you call him Pat.
Taylor reminds me a lot of Alex Smith. Vastly underrated, mobile, not gonna throw a bunch of yards and tuddys but also won't lose you the game either
Put Tyrod Taylor and Josh Rosen on the same team. The next quarterback that team gets will end up being the greatest football player ever.
To be fair, although Tyrod has started many careers, it's like QBs ahead of him were all that great. Baker has been disappointing, Peterman is terrible, it's too early to tell on Herbert, and Josh Allen has very up and down so far.
Mr. Gentlezombie Allen looks excellent this season and has made strides in the offseason.
@@1337b3nnyvav00m It's certainly possible, but 3 good games is still a small sample size. If he keeps it up, I agree that he has absolutely developed, but give it a few more games.
Mr. Gentlezombie I know let’s see how he plays today. Usually 6 games is a good indicator about how the rest of a season will go. I’ve just noticed impressive differences in his ability to progress through reads and his footwork which has lead to better decision making and accuracy.
Mr. Gentlezombie Plus Allen still has that competitive fire, athleticism and Cam Newton’s size.
This video could have been about Shaun Hill as well. All he did was play at a top level and yet other QBs always got to start ahead of him.
I'm convinced Taylor said something to Goodell someday, and after that Goodell has made it his mission to end the man's career. He ordered the hit on him to get his lung punctured
I used to watch tyrod Taylor in Buffalo and I loved the way he played
After david mills, call it 5.
I went to VT with him, he’s a really nice guy. Good ball player too.
This story reminds me of Steve DeBerg from the 80s and 90s.
Tyrod Taylor is the modern day Steve DeBerg who helped to launch Montana, Elway & Steve Young. Taylor is a selfless teammate everywhere he goes.
*Me wishing Kirk Cousins NFL career never happened *
Tyrod Taylor is a phenomenal athlete and serves as an excellent case study in the evolution of the QB position. I look at Tyrod Taylor as an example of a player teaching its coaches and franchises what THEY need to succeed as a team. I am heartbroken that we may never had an opportunity to witness what success he could have in a system curated for him BUT his journey is far from over and the best is just yet to come. Tyrod Taylor is a one in a lifetime talent that embodies the culture to prove it and I look forward to watching this thrilling development under center each GameDay.
1 year later, it might be happening again with Davis Mills and the Texans. Tyrod just can't catch a break
I'm sure he's not all that upset about it. He's getting paid millions of dollars to teach young QBs and sit on the bench.
@@benbone4373 right? Not a bad gig.
Remember when Tyrod tried to troll the Bills by claiming his name was actually pronounced "TUHROD" and that they cared so little about him that they couldn't even bother to learn how his name was pronounced? Now, I can’t see going back to Tyrod, but dammit I feel so bad for him. Josh Allen is great but I wouldn’t have run Taylor off like buffalo did
And now Tyrod is hurt and replaced by a rookie. Will Davis Mills be added to this list?
I think it speaks to his ability as a mentor. You go to the veteran for help and learning to play at the NFL level, and Tyrod has helped 4 guys look at least decent. Mad props to him

@ZrACKs ultRa Who did Tyrod Taylor have to throw/pass to🤔😐
Because in the year 2019 Josh Allen's rookie season had the same Cast of receivers (and was almost dead last in receiving)📉💯.
@ZrACKs ultRa TYPICAL regurgitating Bills MAFIA Tyrod HATE campaign.
Tyrod Taylor was only a 3 year starter with the Buffalo Bills. Tyrod never started with the ravens because Joe Flacco is a DIVA and did worse to Tyrod Taylor than Brett Farve did to Aaron Rodgers😐💯
Next tell me when Sammy watkin's ACTUALLY played a full 16 game season.
EVEN with the chiefs, Sammy is ALWAYS INJURED🤔💯
Robert woods is NEVER consistent and we see that with the Los Angeles rams.
Marquis Goodwin is actually a GREAT match for Tyrod Taylor, BUT he got traded IMMEDIATELY.
ALL of the TALENTED receivers were traded IMMEDIATELY (leaving Tyrod Taylor NOTHING).
Therefore Tyrod Taylor had nobody to throw too. Of course your HATE campaign talked NOTHING about that.................🤔✅
Buffalo Bills got KB from Carolina Panthers, BUT KB might as well been an OFFENSIVE lineman himself. KB was GARBAGE📉🤔
Tyrod Taylor only have one year with those TALENTED receivers and still produce 20 touchdown passes to only 6 interceptions📈💯✊🏿.
Josh Allen is 2nd year couldn't learn the system because Josh was a runningback (RUNNING FOR HIS LIFE). Like Tyrod Taylor, Josh had NOBODY to throw to.
What amazes me is how A BIG PORTION of Bills Mafia FANATIC says the Defense is the reason why Buffalo Bills made it to the playoffs, yet they couldn't do the same thing with the beginning of Josh Allen🤔📉💯
It is pathetic but LAUGHABLE, that people like you constantly SCHEME for great Caucasian white hope.................🐍😈
ALSO Rex Ryan Is a LOUDER but MILDER version of Adam Gase🐍💯📉.
A lot of quarterbacks DON'T do well under Rex Ryan (somehow Tyrod Taylor KINDA did)

Excelling DEICIDE it’s cool u just don’t know football. But stop pulling race card he was trash and last in passing in the nfl with either elite or average wide receivers.
“If you are looking for a long term solution to QB, the first step is Tyrod”
Bears have left the chat.
I’m waiting for the bears to sign Tyrod in the off-season. Only to draft a potential QB in the 2021 draft.
He launched a 5th one
I feel bad for my guy Tyrod that he’s always been the bridge guy for a future QB. Us Buffalo fans will always have great respect for Tyrod for leading us to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.
For awhile there. Taylor has the 3rd best passer rating in the league, behind ARodg and Russ
He’s also one of the few well-known backup QB’s to have a ring on his finger.
He said "Fertile QB" with Phillip Rivers! 🤣🤣🤣
He started baker’s career on purpose by faking an injury
I have met Tyrod Taylor and he was a cool guy. I’m glad he was able to get a deal and make himself a name. When I met him he was the Ravens backup and he has in proved since
He'll end up signing with the Jets in the offseason and then they'll end up drafting Trevor Lawrence afterwards LOL
