This has got to be the most chill performance of Exeunt I've ever seen
Yep! I was just thinking the same :D
This is their most chill performance of anything that isn't "I Have Made Mistakes."
I understand cause they needed to blend it with like the dawn which is very chill but admittedly it's very funny
These people have played D&D.
What and why?
@@Qwerty123zzuy if you know you know.
@@carnalslut haha ok
I RELATE xDDD
I'd say human bard; neutral good.
This gave me a chance to really appreciate how beautiful Tyler's voice is. I found the band through Dear Wormwood, and on the album Maggie gets a chance to shine and show off her singing in songs with minimal backing like Pale White Horse and Solider, Poet, King. However, the songs where Tyler takes the lead vocally - Exeunt, Thus Always to Tyrants, even Dear Wormwood - have either other vocals or a lot of backing mixing in. And they sound beautiful, but it meant it was difficult to really understand just how wonderful Tyler's singing is on it's own. In this version of Exeunt, however, his voice gets a chance to shine on its own, and I'm glad for it.
This entire video was beautiful, and just conveys this wonderful sense of peace.
exactly, i love his voice in Exeunt!
same man i found this band due to dear worm wood
I honestly think Tyler and Maggie are perfectly balanced in how much each of them sing on DW. They both get to shine.
I love these darn nerds
That transition between songs was so smooth and satisfying. Such an amazingly talented band, and both of their voices are just stunning!
I could go on about them for hours tbh.
I don't know if y'all (the band) reads these comments but I want you all to know this is the most beautiful set ever... I can't stop listening to it and I tear up every time, it's just SO beautiful, there is so much heart in this music and I can't stop listening
I just went to Pickathon for the first time this year and was absolutely enthralled by the outdoor sets. You're just surrounded by great artists, great people, and beautiful Oregon nature. Really wish I could have seen these guys live though, they're amazing!
Thats just their charm. You start listening to the same song for the 17th time but it surprises you either way. They get me everytime ❤️
Their band is The Oh Hellos
@@Frogette Exactly, by far my favorite band, i love them and hope to meet them one day
The day I don’t put one of their songs in a dnd character playlist assume I am dead.
Literally playing a paladin named Tyler Heath rn, and yes their music was some of the strongest inspo for the character
@@Sasha-ff5ce that’s sick, is the campaign still going on?
@@screwtapee nah it ended a while ago but he was one of the better developed characters I’ve played. Redemption Paladin dedicated to non-violence
Half the comments are talking about how incredible and emotional these songs/this performance was and half of them are about d&d
There's a lot of overlap
This makes my heart smile
I was sleeping in the garden when I saw you first
He'd put me deep, deep under so that he could work
And like the dawn you broke the dark and my whole earth shook
I was sleeping in the garden when I saw you
At last, at last
Bones of my bones and flesh of my flesh, at last
You were the brightest shade of sun I had ever seen
Your skin was gilded with the gold of the richest kings
And like the dawn you woke the world inside of me
You were the brightest shade of sun when I saw you
And you will surely be the death of me
But how could I have known?
Oh, Just floating in my mind when i enjoy the song.......
Stumbled across this band a few weeks ago and can't stop listening. Maggie is beautiful here and the performance is 10/10
They're all so very beautiful here
I am in heaven. Standing in my kitchen tapping my toes and jiggling around when I should be preparing supper. Thank you
that banjo player is a really great guy.
7:24 the way they harmonize at "bones of my bones" is so incredibly beautiful
Just, incredible. I wish I had that male lead's voice. it's just so perfectly smooth I'm incredibly jealous.
The way Exuent falls into Like the Dawn caught me so off guard (in a good way). Cuz Exuent is like celebrating get out of a bad relationship, but Like the Dawn is grieving the loss of something that started out good. Made me cry.
WHY are these not all over the world yet!!!! They have the most beautiful song’s and so beautifully sang/ played! I love watching the guy on the accordion he’s so happy all the time - dude never change ever!!!
Because some people don’t like folk music for some reason, I don’t get it but… whatever I guess…. I LOVE THE OH HELLOS! (Sorry I’m 2 years late to your comment)
I was all alone, we were young, you were like wine
Heady as the fog rolling in o'er the hillside
Lovely as the song in the air as the wind blows
Opiate as the cold of the frost on the windows
Lo, the rose is gone from my eyes (so deceiving)
So, my little dove, I'm afraid I am leaving
Now, I am not the fool I was when I was younger
Crocodile eyes, I have seen how you hunger
Fluttering your lashes, like ashes and embers
Warm and bright as fire devouring timber
No, I cannot trust what you say when you're grieving
So, my love, I'm sorry, but still: I am leaving
Even when you hunt me with ire, relentless
Batter down my door when you find me defenseless
I will not abide all your raging and reaving
I have set my mind and my will: I am leaving
Its totally mad me......Thanks the oh Hellos.....
One of my top 5 favorite bands of all time... Voices + Lyrics + Raw Emotion + Solid Instrumentals = Pure Joyful Music
Why am I crying? I shit you not, tears are about to fall. I don’t know why, don’t ask me, but there are tears.
Dammit this band TwT
Such a rustic feel from the oh hellos I've been listening for a little bit now and I can't stop it's just so Amazing how much inspiration I can draw from these songs I made a whole darn character listening to 'like the dawn'
i listened to this last before going to bed, and now here i am listening to it in the morning, too.
it's a good weekend.
Beautiful... very rare to see this kinda of quality.
Also, the girl is quite beautiful. Everyone in the band is good looking
Your music takes me back to another time, a half remembered dream - a better World through liberation of the mind - renewed respect for Mother Earth - a brother/sisterhood of Peace and Love - the answers seem so clear at 19. I love your spirit. Thanks for the beautiful songs - this is my favorite so far.
From a man choosing to leave the demonic influence on his life and the desires of his sinful flesh to the moment when Adam first saw Eve. What a narrow chasm between these two surprisingly similar emotions. Bittersweet and Sweetbitter.
A great way to spend 7 plus minutes if your life!!
The Oh Hellos just absolutely always deliver. Thanks for sharing this.
the whole band was feeling it, pure magic. i love how honest their vocals are, no putting on at all.
Her voice puts me in a trance
Its cool to discover a band that wrote a whole album of the pain of my abuse that makes me feel a sense of closing the book
this is so good that my ears cry out of joy
they have such a positive energy, the give me hope fur the future.
For anyone wondering, tuning on Tyler's guitar is DGDDAD
hah, i was just wondering exactly that. thanks!
Is there a correct tab for this anywhere?
what is this weird tuning never seen it before -.-
Thank you!
@@roseheath4937 not for this version. Sadly
Music that you hear and experience. Beautiful! …..as I take a deep breath, with a smile, and exhale softly, while saying, "I am in good hands."
i stumbled across this band when i was younger, watching it again gives me nostalgia
i’d like to say that they made my childhood,
I love the oh hellos so much ever since i found em they make me go *oOGABOOGA*

You guys are absolutely amazing I love love love your music. Thank you
Total Love for this!
Absolute wonderful!!!
Loved this! It's my favorite song , thank you!
Beautiful!❤
This is fantastic
I don't know about D&D (which I played as a teen), but for the references in this song, I'd suggest the Book of Genisis and perhaps the writings of C.S. Lewis.
It is! Sharp ear!
These are two different songs! The first one (led by Tyler) is inspired by C.S and the second one (led by Maggie) is inspired by the Book of Genesis
This is beautiful!
I wish I had words...🤍
This is now my favorite
Very nice discovery, continue like this you are on the right track and on the right track ;)
2:12 chills
ESTE VIDEO LO VI HACE 4 AÑOS Y SIGUE SIENDO HERMOSO❤️
I`m totally in love with you, guys
This is great!
Beautiful Maggie. Rest of the band are good-looking folks too.
Such a great song. I guess if you want to hear good music, you have to find it on UA-cam. Not going to find it on the radio.
Beautiful music
The Elephant Revival cover of Like The Dawn is incredible as well
WHY ARE THERE PEOPLE GIVING THUMBS DOWN??? WHY??? GRRRRR!!!
This was beautiful.
Maybe they don't approve of the DGDDAD tuning on Tyler's guitar.
That pic tho
20 Justin Bieber fans.
Sou o unico brasileiro que canhece essa incrível banda, vou compartilhar pro meus amigos acho que eles vão amar.
Não é Não! Hahaha

Have you ever played in Wisconsin? Would be great to have you come play at Appleton's Musical Mile or Milwaukee Summerfest?
Is the song about Adam and Eve's first meeting?
you guys belong at Hillberry
What kind of a Taylor is that? 714ce with cedar top?
Anyone happen to know the guitar tuning?? and tab?
trying to figure out how he played the second tune. capo on the first fret is obvious but then is the tuning different? it feels different to me. can someone figure it out?
DGDDAD
