Way to go, Silas! Great thing you did there with livestream and junkyard. I am noticing that more people are touring junkyards so getting to see yours is so cool.
Hi Silas, I enjoy all of your clips. People complain because they don't understand what you have to go through each day and the decisions you have to make. It's survival. You have an adventure and share them with your viewers, thank you. Have a great rest of your day.😃
Thank you Mr Silas for inviting us to walk around this junk yard. I live in the UK , so to see old and not so old American Metal . Is so much fun. Thank you . JR/UK.
I don’t understand the mushroom hunt haters. I enjoy hanging out with you, doesn’t really matter what you’re doing. You always have a great attitude. Getting a 300 pound deduction for a Mickie D wrapper is a ripoff!
Normally I would skip through a long video but this one I watched every last minute, great video. I have a few questions but I have enough faith in your experience that everything will work out.
Great spending some time with you Silas, When ever you tour the yards and I see the vintage cars and trucks, I say to myself there is a guy out there somewhere restoring his grandfathers old farm truck in upstate New York that would think he found a gold mine with one of those old beauties. Love watching Always new treasures to find.
I have a 1963 C60 Dump Truck. I need a solid Windshield, no cracks, and passenger door glass. My passenger door glass was replaced at some point with thick plexi. The glass trim fits it perfect. But with age you can tell it's plexi. An extra 5 speed, new process NP540D Would be nice for that same truck! And headlight bezels. I'm missing one.
Ironic that someone watching a channel named "Adventure's made from scratch" but get upset and leave the channel when it's not always about the same thing. That's got to be a hard way to go through life.
When I ran a auto wreckers, we had night guards and dogs in the yard at night. There were towers along the fence line that the guard could see the yard from above.
I would crush and remove all fence the property and run cows on it. Would be a beautiful farm. That’s just me though, you keep doing your thing! Great tour!!!!
Love the yard…. For myself only.. I couldn’t be so ‘disorganized’ if I owned it. THAT SAID…your randomly placed yard is exactly the type I love to visit/shop at. Love the videos.
Live feed came out pretty good(even tho I had to watch it later). When(or actually before) you go to costa rica check out some travel videos on youtube and how they do them. My wife likes to watch them before we go anywhere to try and get an idea of what's really fun to do/see and what is overhyped. With yours you could really make a neat one showing the "real" costa rica and how everyone lives and does things. I like checking out farms and businesses that do things(car/truck repair, construction, excavating, trucking etcetc...).... It's always interesting to me to see how people with different or less resources get things done. It's not common on youtube either...always the touristy stuff. Thanks for sharing
I've been thinking about you dear. We have been getting rain here in Oklahoma, I knew you were getting wet as well. Parts in Southern Oklahoma are flooding. Sorry I missed your live, I watched it 7 hrs later, but I still enjoyed watching. Always enjoy a video from you and dear. Stay safe and GOD bless
I enjoyed the tour, Silas. I really like that white Chrysler parked beside your cabin bus. The Chrysler looks like either a newport or a New Yorker. That car would make a cool video.
I bought a rear window like the one in that Barracuda about ten years ago. I paid $450 for it...they were hard to find even back then. I can't imagine what they're worth now!
Good Video love the variety of vehicles you have in the Junkyard I found your channel recently I like your different varieties of videos I'm From Windsor Connecticut
Silas, you may already know this. But Dennis Collins of Coffee Walk on UA-cam has often said; he will buy any jeep or Porsch in any condition. Also, I think it would be advantagest on your part to find out what the various rebuilders are looking for. get up a maily list of rebuilder, (the closer the better) and send out a weekly or monthly list of what is available. Going back to my previous posting about an honest person. It may be possible to find someone with the JW's that is also computer savy. That way he could more than earn his keep. Personally Cirus, I think you will always be successful because of your laid-back attitude and the way you seem to be as a person. I'm sure you will agree that you have been blessed in so many ways and of course to have your own junk yard at such an early age is certainly amazing. With Christian love, Phil from Thailand
Great video! Love the Corvairs! One of those '61-'64 Chevrolet Corvair Monza coupes appears to be a 2S car (rear antenna)! That 2nd 58 Chevrolet does look like a good project car! Lots of awesome old iron!
I need a 350 turbo transmission short shaft vacuum module. I don't care if it's bad as long as bell is not cracked. I plan on rebuilding before installing.
Can't understand why they dump you for doing a different adventure it's part of your life's journey still interesting and entertaining and shows more of who are
I like what you've done with the place. Keep up the great work. Don't let the haters get to you. Yah Win some yah lose some. I wish I lived closer and could help you. You could pay me in trinkets!
We keep getting a peek at that old tall T Ford truck if you could show us that some time that would be cool. You should get a hold of All States Ag Parts they have the largest tractor junk yard with those tractors.
I'm letting those up actually today your channel is called finding an adventure so I like that because you do different things you know that's pretty bad that people describe how your channel because you don't do something they like don't worry about them do what you like bro
Great fun running one of these yards I bet! Where can we find some of the "Nose art" wall hangings after they setup and ready to hang?? One of those would look great in the garage.
Bummer I missed the live feed. 😕 I do have a question, do people buy cars from you to make stock cars or derby cars? You did a good job with the live video.
Had to chuckle a bit over that "favorite food" question. Heard a radio ad a long time ago which answers that one handily...and no, I have not forgotten THAT one even though it aired sometime in the early 90s. LOL! "My favorite food is...anything you can eat...in your car." PFFFFF!!! :D OK. Have to chuckle again. At the tail-end of the video, that goat skull is staring in this direction and from being in the corner, it's far enough away to where I've done this probably 4 times now: "Is that dog staring over here? No, that's a goat, not a dog." LOL! From this perspective, it looks exactly like a dog. Go figure. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!
Has there been any progress on that ‘65 Impala 4-door with the six that came from one of your farm clean-ups? That is a nice, straight car. Curious if the guy that bought it got it cleaned up.
I do clean outs outside philly area.great finding cool stuff people don’t want.I also metal detect this area is the beginning of our country.I own a 1963 buick electra sports coupe if you have front fenders or a hood I would b interested
Just wonder why you do not use your loader with a bucket and fill in a few of the water holes in your roads, that you ride in and out of daily , day after day . Or is it that you enjoy swaying to and fro in your truck and loader.
Consider a senior. If I were in your area it would be an ideal extra income kinda part time. Many of us seniors We still have hustle in us!
Agree 100 percent.
Mine left. 🥺

I enjoyed this video very much. It's always a pleasure to see what you show us and what you share with us as far as information on different vehicles.
Normally I would skip through a long video but this one I watched every last minute, great video. I have a few questions but I have enough faith in your experience that everything will work out.

Always fascinating to see junk yards and old relics
When I ran a auto wreckers, we had night guards and dogs in the yard at night. There were towers along the fence line that the guard could see the yard from above.

I would crush and remove all fence the property and run cows on it.
Would be a beautiful farm.
That’s just me though, you keep doing your thing!
Great tour!!!!
Boats - cut bottom off, make planters out of top 2 ft. Seafood restaurants around here do this for parking lot decor.
Love the yard…. For myself only.. I couldn’t be so ‘disorganized’ if I owned it. THAT SAID…your randomly placed yard is exactly the type I love to visit/shop at. Love the videos.
Scrap doesn’t need to be organized

That 230 cid Chevy with the 4 barrel and headers would be something a RatRod builder might be interested in.
