I love to see people still appreciate the MS/MPS 3 1st gen.Its over 10 years old and still reliable fun little car.I love mine,its in true red bone stock.I'm planning on doing small mods,nothing too serious.I don't want to blow up the engine or cause expensive damage since its my daily car.

Government pressure on emissions is making fun cars disappear. At least combustion engine ones. They may be able to make fun electric cars in the future but like the BMW i8 they will have fake engine roar through the speakers lol
I bought my gen 1 new 2007. I love it. Been on BNRS3 and e30 Freektune 4 years. For a tiny turbo it still rips and always outs a smile on my face. Basically I have similar supporting mods.

Man seeing this vid makes me miss my 09 CWP. I racked on 192K with very few issues, except when the rings coked up and began burning a ton of oil. But still had the original turbo and clutch despite pushing 260 WHP for a good portion of its life. These cars have tempermental PCVs and need that Gen 2 valve cover to keep crankcase pressure manageable. And intake valve/EGR cleaning is pretty much a given. Otherwise a cheap fun car with lots of worry-free miles.
Gen 1 was one of the most underrated platforms of its time. I remember first taking delivery and no one really knew what this car was on the street.
And then you blew ass on them and ripped it hard haha
Godspeed931 deleting the EGR valve is a given :p

😍 genjuan owner here. all stock and its black. just hit 117k. just needs coilovers and rims. its enough power for me 😁 if i have anymore itll be a dangerous thing 😅 and i dont like my car loud cuz i like that its kind of quiet unless you are close and when im pulling up you can here the purrrrr like a block away 😁

I’m starting to believe that..I have a Gen II and I swear It’s the most esoteric car I’ve ever owned..I’ve installed a turbo inlet pipe , headers ( eBay) CS TMIC a used DP and the ubiquitous Auto Tech
hpfp fuel internals on a 93 tune.. and it gets it.. I haven’t dynoed it yet so I have no idea how much hp I have going to the wheels but it has gone up against some real damn good cars and more than held it’s own.
