I`m not so sure you`re right, Deborah. If `you` ( ie you in general ) don`t want a child then don`t conceive one. Naturally the male is just as responsible. To abort a child seems to me rather a Phyrric victory in that you become less than you were.

I had hospital appointments twice a week for four months and an ambulance would pick me up and bring me back home. I was also on full pay from my employer. Most of the people in the videos say 'free', maybe they should say covered by the taxes we pay instead. It is horrifying to think of getting indured (in the us) and then fear bankrupcy as a result of that... Keep the poor - poor. They somehow pose a threat in the eyes of the wealthy... There is a lot of improvement that needs to be implemented. One is a proper driving education to reduce the number of casualties in the traffic. Take 5% per year of the military budget to build proper public transportation and have free ambulance and firebrigade service... Just to name a few
Everything has its cons and pros for example our European "social" budget is bloating every year and practically all countries are running on deficits but it worked and we take it for granted but with what is going on on economical side now people should prepare themselves because we can lose all this nice things fast. I’ve been to NY a few times and I absolutely love it. But I couldn’t live there. For a first world country, they have some backward laws in the US. The Roe v Wade overturn is just the latest in a string of clusterf*cks in the US. Absolutely no respect for women’s rights. The gun laws are utterly pathetic. There have been 27 school shootings this year alone (2022), and we’re not even halfway through the year. On average, that’s more than 1 shooting every week. Yes. Every f*cking week. In total, there have been 250 mass shootings so far. And that’s not including the thousands of single shootings. I mean like WTAF? That’s crazy. Workers get treated appallingly. Hardly any paid leave, and those in service industries get paid such low salaries that they have to rely on tips to bring their wages up to minimum rate. In Europe, tipping is completely optional, and never expected. And of course there’s the health care and education systems, which we all know are ridiculous. I don’t even need to bring those up again Denmark is a fine example of a country that always does well. It has a socialist economy that is always flourishing, even after the last global financial crisis, Denmark was one of the first countries on the planet to recover. All public services are 100% government funded. Of course taxes are (only slightly) higher than the average European country, but generally speaking most of the Danish population enjoy a good quality of life and earn good salaries. Minimum wage in Denmark is the equivalent of $16 per hour. That’s more than double (yes, DOUBLE) the US minimum wage, which is quite something, when you consider that the cost of living in Denmark is very similar to that of the US. In fact I’d go as far to say that it’s a bit cheaper in Denmark.
And then when socialist economies like the northern Europe ones are mentioned, people immediately start talking about stuff like goulags... It's truly sickening sometimes
@@user-hb7bo4mr2i indeed. Not just Northern Europe either. China, Venezuela etc…..supposedly socialist countries, but they are riddled with corruption that actually uses capitalist methods. Tysheen when the woman said "the younger generation in America has given me hope" and you looked straight into the cam and said "no." and laughws it off.... Maybe it's you that's wrong? :)
I've been asking this question for years in a bunch of places, but noone seems to be able to answer it properly besides the typical "health is a business in the US". What justifies the cost of 2500$ for calling an ambulance? That's not business. That's criminal, even by business standards.
It's because there are no price transparency laws in the US. The cost of services is determined by a negotiated price between the provider and the insurance company and the patient has no participation in that negotiation nor do they know the final cost until after the service has been provided. If the person has no insurance, then the provider just charges whatever they want since they don't have an insurance company to negotiate with. The system is designed to benefit big business, not the patient. SOME hospitals have charity care programs where you have the option of having some or all of your hospital bills forgiven but it's based on income and the discretion of the hospital. Hospitals never advertise this and it's up to the patient to figure it out.
Technically it's not free. We all pay a lot of taxes. In fact, it can be said that half of your salary is going to pay taxes and social security, all your working life. This is public management of services such as education, health and pensions. In exchange we have in the constitution, guaranteed health care, education, public and universal pensions. That is, for everyone. And everyone contributes based on their income. It is a social pact with the State.
When UK in EU never ever brought health insurance and had 2 major operations all fine ..cost £0. Values are different clearly and we feel we have a collective social responsibilty. I am a Pharmacist and my Uni cost £0 ...so a bit higher taxes fine as i was a 1st generation of immigrants.... helps other working class smart kids to do well regardless of race...I am Indo-Brit.
I'm from Europe and I would call myself pro gun. It's just that every gun should be registered to a person, so person is held accountable for that gun and can't just sell/hand out it to random person. And obviously there needs to be training and trough background check before getting a gun. And some regulations on how to keep it, aka. something like gun safe. And I think there also needs to be some reason besides just in case for home defense. Like hunting, collecting (actually collecting relatively rare weapons) and sport/hobby. I don't think any gun should be banned, but regulated accordingly.
4:05 OMG?! it is better to have a solid health... Otherwise you are ruined? wow... I live in a European country and when I was a child, I was hospitalized for Sepsis! I almost died of it, I don't remember anything except that I fell into a coma in the ambulance. I stayed easily 1 month in the hospital... I was operated and I had a room alone! My parents were fully reimbursed... If I was born in the US I would either be dead or paying off my hospital debts. like... WTF!
Just saying that there is a significant amount of poor students in Denmark who cannot afford a computer if they need to buy one. Rent is also insanely expensive and books are for some not available except for older second hand. Just a few examples. Getting a master degree will also depend on your job situation.
Yeah I don't want to sound arrogant but I'm glad I live in Europe. I had soooo many discussions already with Americans ... for some strange reason they like almost always say "we need guns to protect ourselves" Here in Europe that's just unthinkable !!! In Belgium we got more problems with gangs and drugs etc ... so what happened the government took its responsibility and started a zero tolerance. What does America do? the government give guns to people and basically say "it's your fight, you need to fight, we're not taking our responsibility" . The whole point is, that you don't need guns when the government takes responsibility. It's a typical American approach (well seems so) I will never ever understand... Your government is just lazy LOL and then they give their citizens guns and say "it's your fight" I mean come on ... America wake up , never believe this nonsense the government is trying to let you believe.
Tysheen do us, the europeans, a favor please. I've watched a shitload of those US-EU videos, my head is filled with statistics and data, but there's one simple thing I think none of us here in Europe can quite grasp. If an ambulance is 3 to 5k, what happenes when your life is in anger, but you simply don't have that kind of money? Do you call anyway, and that's how people end up with medical dept, or are just expected to sit there and wait for death to come? I mean, it's not that our ambulances are cheaper - THEY ARE FREE. I've never heard of a fee for that anywhere outside of the US. Please, please explain, maybe give a personal touch, we really don't get what happens when you're sick/wounded and poor.
weapons are prohibited. They can only be carried by the state security forces and bodies. Its use is absolutely regulated, and it must be proven that its use has been the last resort, and it is dissuasive. You can never try to kill anyone. The right to life is a human right. Hunting weapons, with prior license, must be unloaded, and cannot be used near highways or urban centers. Violations are punishable by fines and jail.
Many gun advocates argue that they need their guns to protect themselves. But since when was assault a means of protection? assault implies that you are the aggressor so just why do you need an assault rifle?
What kind of dumb reasoning is that ? Because an assault rifle is called assault rifle, you can only assault with it and can't defend ? What does a handgun does , shoots hands? I haven't heard dumber reasoning in my life...and no I'm not pro or against guns...I'm not even from US..

What amazes me is that Americans are so tolerant. The Land of the Free, except you are not free to watch uninteruppted TV, not free to get sick, and soon, not free to decide whether or not you have a child. Free! Ha!
I`m not so sure you`re right, Deborah. If `you` ( ie you in general ) don`t want a child then don`t conceive one. Naturally the male is just as responsible. To abort a child seems to me rather a Phyrric victory in that you become less than you were.
@@dogwithwigwamz.7320 rape, incest, abusive realtionships
Hi, Deborah. OK. I`ll give you every abortion as a result of rape and incest... so long as you give me any ( even one ) that are not conceived thus. Quid pro quo. Am I being unfair ? ( Deborah now seemingly disposing of her post to me ).
No ! I have never heard of a purely rational reason for abortion, but am more than willing to listen to anyone that is able to provide a reason other than that the law makes abortion legal. Say on.
I had a bad accident a year ago and spent six weeks in hospital. When I came out I had carers come in twice a day for two months. I had hospital appointments twice a week for four months and an ambulance would pick me up and bring me back home. I was also on full pay from my employer. If I was in the US I would be bankrupt and homeless!
I feel so sorry for Americans.
Good reaction, and thanks for breaking down the medical bill angle.
Its unsustainable in bad times.
I go to uni in denmark and it’s free, we get around 1000 dollars from the government each month to live for, and only have to pay for our books, but I have been able to borrow at the library most of the time🌸 love it!
I want to ask you something as you are danish, if a foreigner was to study in a danish university, do the same things apply or are stuff altered because the person isn't a danish resident? i'm simply curious because i plan to go to university in denmark because it's way too expensive for our wages in bulgaria
@@KristianLyubenovYT depends on a lot, if your country is part of the Schengen agreement or the EEA you get the same as the rest of us otherwise you Can Apply to be seen as an equal, I know a lot of people from USA and AUS who Got it ☺️
I’ve been to NY a few times and I absolutely love it.
I don’t even need to bring those up again
Denmark is a fine example of a country that always does well.
In other words no one is seeing the benefits of socialism. Now when socialism gets mentioned that’s what people think of, which is a very false reflection of socialism.
Growing up i always admired the US as the greatest country in the world, now i wonder how such a huge country has managed to get everything so wrong for their citizens.
it was never the greatest, holywood through their movies made it look like that...
Tysheen when the woman said "the younger generation in America has given me hope" and you looked straight into the cam and said "no." and laughws it off.... Maybe it's you that's wrong? :)
Those add up. This adds up.
It is a social pact with the State.
yes but they pay taxes as well.....
There are 44 countries that makeup Europe. The EU flat does not represent Europe. The EU flag only represents 27.
4:05 OMG?! it is better to have a solid health...
"You're on your own" - That's the entire problem
Yeah I don't want to sound arrogant but I'm glad I live in Europe.
I had soooo many discussions already with Americans ... for some strange reason they like almost always say "we need guns to protect ourselves"
Here in Europe that's just unthinkable !!!
Your government is just lazy LOL and then they give their citizens guns and say "it's your fight"
I mean come on ...
When I was a kid all i wanted was to live in the US. Now I'am happy that it didn't happen lol
In USA I like 1960-1980 muscel and pny cars and of course "ships" .
Education is not only free in Denmark, we get paid to study... ;)
01:19 . In USA is pretty flag of Maryland. But in Europa is preatty flag of Monaco.
Also, tiny Wales has a cool flag.
I love the Liechtenstein flag and idk why
weapons are prohibited.
Sad?
No.
Shameful?
Yes.
Disgraceful?
Yes.
Angry too,at American people just accepting it.
Wake up america!!
The thing that leaves me without words is that americans think we actually want to go live there. Most of us don’t even want to visit.
You must have a very expensive insurance just in case. If you can't afford it you'r screwed.
It almost makes me want to cry, for americans. I'm european!
It's sad
I`m English and think that the Americans ( in particular those of the kind found in the United States ) are very good at selling the American Dream whilst it remains quite unrealized ( ie a dream ) for the majority of them. For some, no doubt, it is a nightmare. Not that we are free of them.
Given my own set of circumstances I`d prefer to live where I am - ie in England. It is a circumstance reduced on the grounds that a majority of fools have chosen to leave the European Union, but I`d still rather live here than in the `States.
What`s to be seen there that cannot be seen here ?
Don`t get me wrong, I love The USA. I`ve been there and love even more the people I met there. `Best thing I ever did whilst there was go out and meet the `black` man that would be begging on the street. I couldn`t always give them what they wanted, but I took from them by having the pleasure of talking with them. Some of them had dreams, they told me, of coming to visit England.
I think I could live in the `States - but not forever.

John 3.16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Im from Denmark and i thought all School was free😬😬
Lol did you say 3K for an ambulance? How is that even possible? No way even remotely that it can actually be that costly to send a couple of rescuers. Specially in America where everything is cheap, like the cars electronics etc. I swear that makes no sense at all. 3K?!! 😲 now I get why someone would rather suffer. It's that or your house for a lot basicly
Simple, in the USA healthcare is run for profit. The administration of the system is big business just by itself, costing about 30% of overall healthcare costs.
Can you imagine the stress of living in the US? Raising children? Children often get injured while playing, can you imagine having to choose between taking your child to the doctor or paying the rent so you don't become homeless? It is a barbaric and brutal way to live, but most people don't know any better, they just think this is how life is. I feel so sad and frustrated by the amount of stress, fear and suffering that the American people endure their entire lives. They deserve better. What i don't understand is the anger when you tell them how we live in Europe.
@@katella To be fair, they deserve it. I've seen some videos of how Americans feel about Europe and "socialism" so I don't feel any pity for them. Let them live in fear and misery in their "greatest" and "freest" country, as they wish.
American reaction : none besides "sad". I also wonder about the copyright...
It's not that we don't like you guys ..its more pity "the least greatest nation on earth" ❤️
Don't let them take your guns....
Id visit for a week but I wouldn’t live there...too dangerous and no healthcare..nice people tho😁👍
get free health and free education !!! me British , son half German.
And they still think they live in the greatest country in the World ..idiocracy movie came true
What about the Karens ? This is sooo american i cant understand this behavior😱😱😱
Eisenhower wanted a national healthcare system in the 50's but because of segregation it did not happen, so money was spent on nuclear weapons & the race to space.
British are not Europeans. Uk is not Europe. British culture has nothing to do with Europe. Ask real Europeans like Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French or German and you will see how much we Europeans feel lucky to live in Europe and not in America.
america greatest country in the u.s. and a
People forget about history. Americans have fought for a lot of things, rights for women, rights for black people, against wars.. etc. They have just forgotten, that they have to stick together, to get what they want. It´s like a pyramid, most people are in the bottom and those on top, need them. If those in the bottom stick together, the pyramid will crumble. I do think, most americans are starting to have enough, you have history on your side, you CAN change things. ❤
It's just a big cheap labour project.
So ridiculous..just for being taking to a Hospital. Sick!
Usa gasta el dinero en Armas. Europa en sanidad, derechos sociales y enseñanza y cultura.
europeans are not as happy and optimistic couse of the IQ difference :
And the US is greatest nation on earth my ass, i rather live in north korea
there is nothing to laugh about ,it's terrible
Yeah cherrypicking good stuff is not a good conversation. Let's talk about taxes in Europe
Try and run a small business in Western Europe and see how many obstacles, payments, taxes and regulations you will face.
