I’d say it’s worth the money. Not only do you have the car and the experiences that come along with it, but the community and the knowledge share you’ve put together amplifies the value to you and to the rest of us. Sure there were some mistakes but that’s ok. I know I’ve saved at lease a couple grand on my F30 because of this channel. Thanks Brian, keep this going.
I also have a 335i from 2012. Love it and planning to continue with mods that will help the engine and car run smoothly but on a college students budget. So far the only mod I have is a mst turbo inlet and saving for a mst cold air intake and charge pipe. Overall your videos have helped me do regular maintenance at home rather than the shop. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you and the channel!

I became aware of you guys only recently, and like Justin Buice said, Kies Motorsports is team by far one of the best from customer service to keeping us informed about BMW (and other cars). One of the things I was really amazed is the SULEV Waranty which I knew nothing at the time. I took the car to the local dealer and many of the employees there didn't even know about it until they called their top manager who came and actually understood what I was referring to. Car was fix with a fraction of the cost just because you guys helped us out with this info.

One of my favorite channels, one of the coolest most soft spoken guys in the business. And you have my respect for the work you've done, the transparency you show in your experiences. (I have an 09 E90 335i MSport and '14 F30 335i SportLine RWD and I do all the work on both!) I know what you mean about the costs on the car. If I had $75K liquid, I would have bought a used Porsche 911 Turbo 4S (and probably dumped $20K in mods into that too!). Great video Bryan! #projectweltspeed #weltspeed
been a fan since 2016 when I purchased my 2014 BMW F30 328D. Currently have a stage 1 tune, Bilstein PSS B14 coilovers, 19" staggered VMR wheels, that digital gauge that Justin Buice has, Momentum GT Cold air intake, DPF/SCR Delete, 3" downpipe, 2.5" exhaust piping back to the exhaust. Thats about it... All work done myself besides my coilover install (done by MPC performance in Chicago, IL BEST PLACE EVER FOR GERMANS!) and my tune by Mission performance.
Anyway Bry, I must say you came a long way with your F30, channel and your goals. Keep it up!!
'15 335i. I bought BootMod3 from Kies after seeing your video about it. Plus a few mods like spoiler, M grills and door logo lights, also inspired by your videos. Keep up the good work!

Love all your video Bryan! Appreciate the effort you put on your car, I did the same to my F82. One thing I’m curious, is there a reason that you chose the Bilstein B16 over the KW V3? I’m kind of struggling between these two because I wanna get the coilovers as well.

I really do love these cars. My fbo 2013 6spd was totaled a couple weeks ago and I picked up a 2014 m sport a few days ago.
Dude I don’t watch all the videos in their entirety but this one was awesome !!! I laughed a lot with it!! It is scary to count the mods !! I’m building mine and I totally agree it’s worth! A headache sometimes but worth it !!!

Man, this is a dream build for me. I have a very similar car - 2013 F30 328i M Sport w/ 6MT, even the same color (Estoril Blue 2) AND I even bought it the same year (2017)! I have only done a few mods, but a lot of mods I want to do are on your list. Thanks for doing these videos, as I can most likely apply the same DIY mods to my car!

Hey. Great video. Really makes you stop and think what to do and get for your car. I have on order for an M440i. Picking it up at the end of March. I am looking forward to see if you'll do any mods on this car? I really like it's a B58 engine and there so much you can do to it. I'll be slowly mod'ing it up. Since I live in Germany, there are plenty of Autobahn and tracks here to test out. Keep up the great work.

I drive an F22 and the only mod I’ve put on so far was a charge pipe because the plastic one cracked. I love watching your videos though my wife makes fun of me for watching videos of you putting parts on your car but it’s my entertainment. I’m glad I found your channel. Your channel is how I discovered bm3 and I also got it off your web site from Black Friday deals. I don’t think I’ll spend that much on my f30 335 but I’ll definitely be spending a good amount to get it where I want it power wise and visual wise 🙏🏼

As a personal rule of thumb, I never spend more than 20% of what my cars MSRP would be on mods. Cool build though, and I’ve loved the videos over the past few years!

Right in the feels when you said chris hit a pothole and destroyed a wheel. Last winter I hit 2 pot holes, one destroyed 1 tires and the other pot hole got two tires. COVID shutdown made NY roads that much worse, it's a minefield out here.
So just out of curiosity of the color scheme, is Bryan a 40k Ultramarines fan? Also agreed, there's a lot of joy to being able to build and engineer your own creations. It's the same line of thinking for folks who build PC's vs just going out any buying a fancy one. I absolutely love this channel and how it demonstrates the extreme versatility of the F30. Bonus points to the fact it's the same car I have except mine's RWD.

I had about $50~60k invested into live music equipment/guitars/amps/effect pedals/speaker cabinets/etc. I slimmed down to a very small and easy to setup/tear down live rig and sold a ton of my equipment with the thinking of "if it doesn't go on stage with me or I don't use it recording in my studio, it's gone" and I was able to recoup a ton of that money and have it set aside for a down payment when my M340i is delivered 😎

Hello Brian ! I have an sport version of the 316D from 2014 that I upgraded with some Karman Kardon tweeters and some nice default steering wheel but with the paddle shifter version. I next wanna know if it makes sense to invest in a M3 bracke kit... after that maybe will be suspensions... but I wanna know if it makes sense to do it on the 316d since it's yes... the slowest of them all I think... Or you think I should first do at least a stage 1 and after that buy the M discs and M calipers ? Thanks and take care ! PS: I thank you very much in advance for your recomandations !!!
I have a 2017 440msport that I have carbon grill,mirror caps,trunk lip,eye lids. I have a Dinan intake, Dinan midpipe back exhust. Still on the list are new rims, a down pipe and a carbon rear diffusior. That's my daily. My racecar project is my 1st gen eclipse.
Some things In life can't be bought. The journey, the platform, the community of f30 users... gotta be priceless.
Car looks amazing now but I know one thing you really need that would make a big difference: Custom blacked out headlights, possibly with icon angel eyes!

I have a 2015 f32 428i coupe that I’ve been trying to put a M style front & back lip on forever, but when I tried to order parts online it always says it’s for M sport body bumpers only. Is there a way to go around this? Thank you
Unfortunately there’s nothing really out there for the 4 series base bumpers, but you can always upgrade to M Sport bumpers to allow for more options! Thanks for the encouragement and glad to help you build the car you want!

I'M in the market for a BMW now, coming from a Q50s. Now i'm looking at either a F80 or alternative F30 and Customize into an M3 by getting a Donor and Swapping the ECU, engine harness, suspension components and strut brace, and what ever else I need to swap over. If you have any suggestions LMK.

If I had the money to spend I would definitely grab a 911 turbo there's no doubt. But the journey for what your have put in, "it's priceless". Money couldn't replaces for all the time and sweat and blood you have spent working on it anyways good for you Brian.
I too have a f30 platform. I'm riding a 2016 340i Xdrive just simple bolt on AP air intake and a vrsf downpipe flash tune stage 2 91octane bootmod3 license which I purchased from Kies. Few carbon pieces like the mirror caps, fins, rear diffuser and spolier, front lip. Still alot more work to do.

Hey I have the base calipers on my 328i, I'm looking to upgrade to the m sport, is there any coding required after installment and is there any other thing I would require when switching then out?
You should code it in. Break pedal will be stiffer, also all security systems like ABS etc. need to know that car has bigger breaks. That's what my mechanic told me. Of course it will work without coding but I would do it just for safety.
Yes. Coding for the DSC/TC. Shouldn't be expensive, just a quick update for the car cpu.

Love the combination with the color and the rims. Want to wrap my car to estoril blue or sakhir orange, a pair of ferrada fr4 rims and install an m2 bumper. But jeez the money bro
How different are the f30 and the f32? I’m hell bent on deciding which one to buy
f32 is just 2 door version of f30.
it’s basically 3-series convertible, in E90 and the gens before, back in those days it was just called 3-series convertible.
there’s almost no differences, other than the number of doors it has. some cosmetic stuff like grilles are different for F30 and F32, but other than that it’s the same car.
If you want the accessibility and ease of space/room, get and F30. If you want to make an aggressive 2 door sports car, get an F32. Can’t go wrong either way, both are incredible platforms to build off of.
So far I’m 4,000 dollars deep for full bolt ons and MHD Stage 2 plus 95 octane submap and xHP Stage 3 plus a few cosmetic mods on my 2015 335i with M Sport. Feel like I’m doing well in comparison...
