Now, although the car has been pretty heavily modded for a long time, this was actually the first time that it's been fully dialed in on it's 93 octane tune. It's crazy how I went through the same thing 😂 Got the E85 tune and my spark plugs went... changed spark plugs and spark plugs in cylinder 1 and 6 went the moment I drove the car out the shop. Changed coil packs in cylinder 1 and 6 and got new spark plugs just in case and the car has been driving like a dream ever since.

Awesome video! Maybe I’m mistaken, but stock 300/300 is crank, right? Your numbers are wheel, so you actually are making more gains than what you mentioned! Either way, sick video, sick car, and makes me really hopeful for my ‘14 335!
Yea but they’re also underrated so he’s only ~25 Hp/Tq off
Dyno number are always wheel numbers not crank. And he still needs to make way more power with so many mods and money spent , with $12.000 spent he should be making 650hp 700 hp ..

@9:17 X drive is amazing but snow traction is also dependable on the tires. A RWD BMW with snow tires is a fun car, check the BMW writer driving training BMW-AG does

Looking forward to see if xdelete makes a difference as we have basically the same setup. I'm running a dorch stg2 hpfp instead of your xdi35 because I'm going to run a high ethanol mix. Do you guys plan on trying some ethanol with your setup to push it over 500whp?

Hey! Awesome car and tuning, i´m just curious of one thing, i come from a pretty long career of rally driving and for example on our Evo 8 we had a anti lag system programmed in to it plus some small hardware there you can talk of (burbles it sounded like you burned a whole mag with a AK 47 or something) but honestly i really don´t remember what was done and what is needed. I´m thinking it is fully possible to map in some burbles in Bootmod, is there maybe some way to program in so that you get the "explosions" earlier so they keep the turbo going when you let of the gas or shifting gear and falling under 3000 rpm:s. I sort of know how the mechanically works but when it comes to computers and coding or programming i a´m totally lost. This was just a thought. I am trying to save up to buy a M235i 2014 or a 335i then i am going to follow in your foot steps m afraid moneywise ha ha, it tends to run away from you when you starts modding and tuning! Keep on whit these awesome vlogs i following intensely!!!

I have BootMod3 stage 1 octane 93 on my 2013 F30 328i (N20). The spark plugs are stock. Should I install cold spark plugs NGK SILZKBR8D8S? If so, which gap size should I use?

Hey Bryan, BMW says it needs star rated tyres if its an xDrive otherwise it can cause problems to the car. Is this true? I was thinking of putting normal premium tyres on mine. What do you think?

You should do some xhp vs bootmod3 test on the dyno so we can see how good the OTS tunes are.
How much was it to send logs back and forward a few times from the ots bm3 map and have it tweaked? Interested to know as I'm in scotland but with this being online tuning platform could use it from here with Paul or Cary on my m140i
Good power for n55 but guys skip the n55 and go for b58 stock turbo can do 500whp with a little e and a fuel pump

max ewg stock turbo n55 makes 450+ whp... this is 100% an pwg model or they have it very turned down... ps2 on ewg maxs around 575whp

About to switch from the 93 octane stage 2 plus MHD map to E-20 stage 2 plus on my full bolt ons 2015 335i and am looking into a meth kit which I'm already set up for (via VRSF charge pipe). Gonna need a custom tune if I do the meth kit though.

My 14 335i made 414hp, 384tq from a single run. Just bm3 stage 2 on 93.

Not sure if this was already mentioned, but I believe you subtracted CRANK stock hp/tq numbers from WHEEL modified numbers. Don’t you want to compare WHEEL to WHEEL numbers for an accurate calculation of increase and price/hp and tq?

Do fuel pumps increase performance on their own in a vacuum? I thought fuel pumps were just so your fuel could "keep up" as you add HP, but not actually adding any HP? I have all the same parts upgraded here except fuel pumps, blow off valve (which should be minor I would think) and the oil cooler (which also should be minor ) and I'm also on 93 with a custom tune - at 450 whp and 450 wtq so I'm surprise to see the difference here compared to mine

Just wondering if the ZF 8HP50 has been modified to handle the torque.
8HP50 is used in Range Rovers and other applications with similar horsepower. It might be a slightly different configuration of the part, but the fundamentals are the same.

Am I wrong in thinking that, your comparing #Crank-Power to #Wheel-Power 300Hp & 300Tq to the crank vs your 457Hp & 550Tq to the wheels? If so you're talking another +50Hp & +50 or more Tq. So your looking more like $58.78 per 1-HP & $40.56 per 1-TQ.

I’ve got a 2014 335I for $28k and 26k on odometer. So $12k for the power of an M3. I don’t think I’ll find a used M3 with 26k on odometer for $40,000.

Was expecting to see 500, because my F30 is about to get a turbo upgrade with meth injection but then again you don't run meth so that's probably the limiting factor. Plus where I'm from I can get 102 octane pump gas while you mapped it to 93
