- In this Banff Travel Documentary, we take a 10 day road trip in our RV in Banff National Park and drive the Icefields Parkway. We share camping tips, a banff itinerary, and what to do in the summer in Banff.
We explore Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, the Banff Hot Springs, Lake Louise Campground, the Icefields Parkway and see loads of wildlife while we are there! We take you on our two favorite hikes in Banff: Plain of six glaciers hike and on the bow lake waterfall hike.

Brought back some good members when I saw your film of the Banff Hot Springs. I was there many years ago with friends, one with whom I was very close and we had such a good time in the pool. There was even a very large Big Horn Mountain Sheep eating grass right next to the pool where the plants could grow in the cold due to the heat and steam from the hot springs. Unforgettable sight. My friend left this earth about a year later trying to ford a very swollen and fast flowing stream coming off a glacier. He went under and hit his head. He was only 23 y/o. Broke my hears. Another friend met her end about a month earlier trying to ford the same stream. So i lost two of my best friends in BC and I never went back. But do have fond memories of my year there. So thanks for bringing back some bitter sweet memories. 🌺🌳💔

Beautiful video. I did the Banff to Jasper area in October 1999. More snow and overcast days but still beautiful.

We must have crossed paths my wife and I did the drive from Anchorage to Orange County in August 2018. Of course did Banff and Jasper.
Glad you enjoyed playing in our backyard! I used to live in Jasper and lived in Calgary a couple of different times in my life. For some reason, I keep getting drawn back to my frontyard in Ontario.

Peyto lake is just spectacular as is the icefields parkway. We drove it over two days and still didn't see everything. TIP - anyone wanting to do this should download the gypsey guide app - like having a tour guide in your car and uses the gps not your data.

Nice video! It was really funny to see you comment on people wearing shorts and shirts and flip-flops. But it's July! July is peak summer in Canada, so you can bet those were Canadians sporting shorts and sandals, lol.
Heading to the Banff Area in early Aug with my wife and teenage kids. The segment and tips on lighting at Peyto Lake were excellent. Can’t wait to go. You guys are so funny and so fun to watch.

My wife and I were there in SEPT 2018. I called it LAKE LEFREEZE. We left southern Ontario and it was close to 40 C with the Humidex and then Banff it was close to 0 C every morning. We camped inside the electrified fence in our new hybrid camper. This video was great to watch...brought back memories. Another park you might like....Dinosaur Park in Alberta. My wife and I loved it.

I’m David, I live in Nova Scotia but travel back and forth to Alberta ( I found you through your Banff video ) to work in the oil industry, I’m five years from retirement, then it will be six months traveling Canada and six months in Palawan Philippines.

We love Timmies coffee and showing off our beautiful country, as I said that’s how I found you by your Banff video, most Canadians love to search UA-cam for their own province. Now with that said...Nova Scotia needs to be on your bucket list because This Is Gods Favourite Place 😂, we can’t guarantee you’ll get to see God...but you will get to see his best work 😊
Do you homework before you come, there is so much to do and see, The Cabot trail, Halifax buskers, Jacobs ladder, wine tours, tidal bore rafting, kayaking in Mahone Bay, beautiful water falls and beaches, the highest and lowest tides in the world and of course all the lobster you can eat, try the creamed lobster 🦞
Hopefully this COVID will end soon, and the borders will re open, love your videos and maybe Nova Scotia will be in there someday.

my wife and I went last June/July for two weeks and spent a total of $2000.00. Thats gas (from North TX), food, campground fees, etc. I couldn't believe how cheap it was. Best trip we've ever been on!

10/10 best drive in the world. 300km of rocky mountain wilderness. banff to bow glacier and columbia icefield is a 2 km difference in elevation

Only thing that can still stop me in my tracks and make sit and stare is the northern lights (Aurora Borealis) don't think you can ever really get over them.

This is amazing. We did this trip from England about 10 years ago plus the Rocky Mountaineer for a few days. Trip if a lifetime. Not a lot of tourists about either. Great video you guys. You made me happy ❤

Liquor off sales means you can go to the bar and buy a case of beer, or a bottle of wine or hard liquor to take with you. Unlike the US, you cant buy liquor anywhere. Alberta is different from the other provinces though. In all the other provinces, liquor is only available at government owned liquor stores, and they decide what they will or will not carry. In Alberta all liquor stores are privately owned, which means they will carry what they think customers will want, giving you a much better selection. Also, since they are privately owned, almost every small town upwards will have a liquor store, unlike other provinces where there has to be at least a certain amount of people before they warrant a liquor store.
