Heavy Russian kettlebell swings I love because you can crank out a bunch of them, work the posterior great, has a bit of conditioning to the piece, and also is a direct carryover to normal kettlebell swings during a workout
This guy!! La Mesa pride!! I should be over at this monster of gym. San Diego native, living in City heights. Love the videos! Time to pay the man!! Much love!!
It’s so great how you incorporated how it was a “weakness” but didn’t say it in a negative way, more like a “I’m not a fan but I’m going to improve on it”. The mentality is still super important, instead of avoiding you embrace it. [edit] these 5 mins videos are more informative than most peoples 30 min videos.
Used this to make this(turned out to be a good little circuit after a few metcons): 4RDS: 8xdbll row, 8x waiter press, 16x strict ring dip, 16x ghd back extension, 16x box pistol squat each leg.
I can't wait for me and my fiance to get our own house so we can have our own garage gym. I know the items it will have in it, definitely- assault bike, row machine, ski machine, treadmill, elliptical machine, and Rogue weight area. Now, I just have to learn the double unders.
Great info brother...Is your accessory programming working the same muscle groups as the WOD...or do you alternate? e.g. Waiter press same day as thrusters...or waiter press after leg-focused WOD?#ArmyStrong
Surprised to hear you say that you feel your shoulders are one of your weaker points. Figured after buds you would have bulletproof shoulders. Any shoulder exercises you would recommend before buds?
Great work Josh. Alot of crossfitters and absolute nazies about assistance work and cannot wrap there heads around the concept when it's really just strength and conditioning 101 lol I guess you can blame the manner in which crossfit markets itself. Coming from a level 2 coach and certified personal trainer btw.
I was listening to this while driving and then I heard that dog bark in the background and I thought a dog was in my car LOL! I might have swerved a little bit.
These 5 movements, using Josh's rep and set scheme, makes a solid workout. Great video!

Just keeping it simple

For people with a garage gym with no GHD or reverse hyper what would you recommend to emulate these?
strict or weighted pull ups, strict ohp, strict movements in general...plus alot of unilateral work.
ArmaRes definitely
💪💪💪💪💪
Geezus look at the size of that dumbbell!
Geoff Kesler 💪🏽
How often would you recommend the average CrossFitter do this type of accessory work? Every day we go to class or once a week or what?
Thomas Noonan typically add in accessory movements 2-3 times a week
First 😂
Andrew Wheaton Hell yeah
#PAYHIM
Megan Needham Hell yeah
Can you please talk about your tattoo in one of the videos?
The weight you moved on the row 😵

How many times per week do you do these movements?
solera2008 mix them in 2-3 times a week
How do you determine the weight to use?
DonsAdventures depends how I feel that day, some days I want to go for reps and others for weight
I like how you did not call it top 5! I would do gorilla rows instead of dumbbell row actually
Weird question, but what is josh bridge's dog's breed?
Henrique Estrela Malinois
