I have gone a different route with one of my builds. I am having my Bergara B14R rebarreled with a 24" Shilen Ratchet. B14Rs are funny creatures. Some shoot great. Mine did not. Barrel was full of pits. Going with an Eley EPS reamer for the chamber. I have had zero feed or ejection issues with my B14. I run a Shilen Competition trigger set at 8oz. Best $160 I have ever spent.
How the bolt headspaces at .048", I set up the chamber with less jam from expirence building these. It actually holds a really tight 300 yard groups. I did the same with Womfats build. 50 yard groups are just a small look what this rifle can do.
The chamber is based off the Nevius reamer lead angle but has tight case dimensions and more of a straight wall like a Carefree II. Shallower lead angles tend to be an all around performance but theoretically perform better for the EPS bullet. Sharper lead angles sometimes causes sharper pressure spikes which can lead to cold bore shift. This all depends on barrel configuration, grooves, groove design ect. My expirence gained building and testing so many 22lrs obviously narrows down consistent performance. Ive designed 4 22lr reamers myself which I use for my clients builds and personally own 9 different 22lr reamers. The quest for 22lr accuracy is seems futile sometimes when ultimately the ammo is the other biggest factor
That rifle is absolutely too perty to shoot😂 I think you’ll be very happy with that barrel and chamber, Kenny put a 25.4” MullerWorks on my RimX and it’s to be getting better by the shot. Can’t wait to see the follow up videos on it.
Have been waiting to follow a barrel like this ... to follow the ammo testing selection & what we see about the characteristics of the ammo, like low ES & SD's and such. I think it'll have a wider than usual tolerance for high SD's. I hope anyway? "Them dang fliers!"
Bud I watched your videos and enjoyed them my question is I have a vudu how much better is a 22lr suppose to shoot you can only get so much accuracy out of 22lr.
You have a good point. I don’t think it’s anymore accurate but the versatility of Rimfire to centerfire conversion is what’s in question with this rifle and if it can hold its own against stand alone rimfire and centerfire setups.

I have the MPA/ Curtis Axiom with the WTO switch lug setup barreled for .223 Wylde. I haven’t got it to the range yet but I’m amazed at how easy it is to take apart. My buddies’ heads exploded when I showed it to them. I’m thinking this action/ lug setup could be the heart of a modular setup. I just wish the centerfire bolts were with interchangeable bolt heads. At $450 per copy it’s a bit spendy. Now you show me this RF conversion at $700 for the bolt and mag plus a barrel. I would have spent less money on a gambling addiction but shooting is more fun. 😎

Because they are not good as these custom rifles. Picker on ammo and Anchutz customer support is trash. They fail to realize balance of a rifle is key for performance and their mags aren't as reliable as a CZ457. Thier literally is little to no difference over a CZ457. I can continue my list if you are willing to listen

Yes it goes from centerfire to Rimfire by swapping bolt and barrel. I’ll have more videos coming up that will show the swap out
