It's Dave! You know I'm going to check out the videos. This one is a little weird but entertaining. I've been in my 37 ft. long class A RV for years now and I can be all set up to stay put for weeks and be ready to go in 15 minutes and be pulling off. Everything that I put out in my kitchen, the crock full of utensils, my cutting board, my whistling tea kettle for boiling water for the coffee press, qt. of olive oil, pepper grinder, salt shaker, coffee press, dish soap and the bowl with the scrub pads and the sponge all go in my double sink. The kettle goes in one side and everything else goes in the other. Everything that's out in the dinnet either on my person (my phone, pocket knife, keys, etc.) or in a Tupperware in my dish cabinet. The bathroom is easy. Hand mirror, hair brush, mug and shaving brush, etc. goes in the bathroom sink. The medicine is in a little Tupperware and that goes in the medicine cabinet and the garbage can goes in the tub. It's never toppled over. Since I make my bed when I get up and streighten out the bedroom while the coffee water is on the boil the bedroom is always ready to move. Since I put away my things as I get done with them and sweep or vacuum daily and do the dishes after I'm done with my meals the place pretty much stays neat as a pin. Anything I use outside goes underneath when I'm done using it before I leave or get ready to relocate the motor home. And that's the key to an easy move. You guys do some extra stuff that I don't understand, like striping the beds and stashing pillows in drawers. Pillows probably won't hurt anything if they fly around and my bedding and pillows have never moved at all, even when I've been on the worst of roads. There are a few other things, too but like you said, everyone has their own little system of doing things. I try to make mine as quick and as little effort as possible. Fun video, though. It's always a hoot finding out how someone else does something that you do! Thanks! More videos please! And stay well. God bless!
Have you ever tried "fun tack?" It's amazing. You can leave things in place because they stick, but you can also remove them with no problem and then replace them and they stay. I mainly use it for papertowels, and handsoap dispensers, but the list is endless. Cheap at Walmart.
I lived in my travel trailer for several years and tried to keep things simple. I could have my trailer leveled and set up in about 15 or 20 minutes. And it takes about 10 to 15 to break camp and be on the road. To set up I back into a spot, thatt takes about 30 seconds, then throw down a quick and easy wooden ramp on the low side and backup on the ramp watching the level on the front of the trailer stopping when it's centered. Then blocking the tires, unhooking the trailer and cranking up the tongue jack while watching the level on the side of the trailer, pulling out the awning, go inside taking the TV off the bed, unlocking the fridge, putting up the antenna, I'm done. I leave the trailer plugged into the truck for additional DC power because I dry camp most of the time. In hot weather without the air conditioner plugged in I run a 12-volt fan on me all night. Everything else I use runs on propane or 12 volts. Breaking camp is even faster unless I have to stop to dump my tanks. I don't have slide outs and don't want them.
RV Odd Couple rather than go thru dealer we weighed out the cost of husbands time off work delivering and picking up and decided to fix it ourselves. (We are not full-timers) You have to buy the whole glass shower door again. It was a little more than $500 😬 but we now have a checklist on our fridge. It’s good to share to help others avoid mistakes. Take care, Happy New year of wonderful travels 🥰
Do you have anything under the washer/dryer unit in case of leaks? If so what precautions have you taken or used. A video on precautions would be welcomed. Love the video done very nicely.
very knowledgeable video thanks, and Mercedes you have the perfect smile. I plan on starting or at least trying to do this I am still in planning stages
conroyz28 mid-bunk definitely doesn’t cool as well as the rest of the rig. The 2018 Forrest River Sandpiper did re-size the a/c units to help with that problem.
Hi Christy :) Your not blind. It's a broken link. Thank you for pointing it out. Please send us an email and we will sen you the check list. RvOddCouple@gmail.com
Long-story-short, could you tell that story? The vast majority of us subscribers could use your insight, direction and support on how to “sell all our stuff.” On a previous video, John said to start with a spreadsheet.

I used a lot of pool noodles to put in the kitchen cabinets! My hubby cut them to size for me!
Great idea! Thank you 👍

Good tips, yes glass doors of any sort can break if not latched. It happened to us 😬
This Fruitful Life, that sounds like a bummer. We hope it wasn't too expensive to repair!

The ideas of the bars in the cabinets, Really like, I like seeing in your cabinets to give me ideas to do to RV
Aren't they great! We learned this from other UA-camrs. Thank you Dee
In the bathroom if you have a removal shower head you should set it on the ground.
Funny you should say that Greg because that's what we do do minimize the splash.

Do you have anything under the washer/dryer unit in case of leaks? If so what precautions have you taken or used. A video on precautions would be welcomed. Love the video done very nicely.

Nice videos. Me and my family have the exact same Denali truck and the same 372 LOK ... i wish we could do full time.
conroyz28 Great Truck! Good Rig! We love this lifestyle Conroys!
Do you find anything that is perishable ruining while traveling because the RV gets so hot inside? How does it get if you have ever measured?
We haven't exprerienced this Charles. Because we live in our RV full time, the temperature is always between 60 & 75
Thanks for the quick reply. I was thinking while on road but I guess if you don’t drive far it wouldn’t get that hot. Thanks again!
How do you keep your refrigerator from turning over?
Bolted in :)
Excellent video with great ideas, thanx!

How is the AC in the mid-bunk. We live in texas and that mid bunk room get super hot with only 1 duct.

I'm afraid I've gone blind. I cannot find the checklists. I'm sure it is me, but can you point me in the right direction, please? Love your videos!

VERY NICE! BENDICIONES!!!!!!!!
Gracias! :-)
How do you finance an rv that you plan to live in? Banks here in Oregon won't do it.
We financed ours in FL Amanda
