Built a 14 Ram 2500 with an ATS compound and Calibrated power tuning all emissions on, its unbelievable the difference it’s always in the power, I wouldn’t want to tow with out it, those Powerstokes have a few pony’s too!!!
Yea it’s making me wish I would have compounded my 6.7 Cummins before I sold it. I’ll definitely compound every diesel I buy from here out. They just pull so well
Thanks man yea it certainly did run super strong! Can’t wait to get this setup on my next one. I got a 22 now but am going to order a 23 in a few weeks. Might run this setup on that one.
I unfortunately no longer have the truck. I have a 22 now but am hoping to do the same setup on it maybe next year! I just rolled 53,000 miles on it so the emissions warranty is officially expired and it’s time to play 😎
Yea you wouldn’t have been able to pay me to own a ford until the 6.7 came out then I just watched them for a few years and wasn’t really sold on them until the aluminum bodies came out but now I’m hooked on em. It would take a lot for me to buy a ram or Chevy right now.
@@carter.coleman a lot better honestly. Rides better, handles better, much larger cabin, smoother more confident transmission.. I always swore I’d own a new Cummins one day. Wound up selling this truck and ordering a 22 platinum 250 in December of 21. Got it the end of June. 60,000 miles on it now and am planning on compounding it next year. I’ll be making a video of that when it’s done!
@@joecameron3512 yes I ordered a 22 platinum F250 exactly like my 17 in December of 21. Got it on 06/27/22. Currently have 58,000 miles on it. Zero issues yet. I do plan on compounding it though just like my 17. I miss the whistle so bad 😅
I no longer have the truck but still have the owner on facebook. He’s got around 200k on the truck now and said it’s still holding up great. Still original transmission. Only issues he’s had is a water pump at 180,000 miles and a set of brakes.
The front egr port has a factory egt sensor in it but the edge monitor won't read it on the 17+ trucks so i just swapped out the oem probe for the eas one.
I’m super excited to get my 2017 done kit will be in on Sunday. Is it loud in the cab? And would you sag it was worth it for pulling I’m running my own dumpster company and I’m pulling 14 to 15k trailers daily.
@@wademooreoutdoor3817 yea it’s pretty decent in the cab. People say they can hear the turbos over the phone through Bluetooth when I take off from a stop or hit boost just right as I’m driving lol. As far as towing goes you’ll notice you’ll lose a little grunt down low like 1500rpms and less it won’t really pull very hard or at least it shouldn’t if your tuner knows what he’s doing. You don’t want a lot of fuel down below those rpm’s on stock rods.. midrange though is where the turbos shine. 1800-2500rpm it’s gonna pull like a bulldozer.
@@leoluvsdodge I’m running a 63 fleece right now and it hates low rpm’s but once you get it going about the 1500 to 2,000 it does ok I’m just hoping I’m halo with the compound kit after I spent 6900 on all of it. Should be in the truck this week.
I couldn’t really speak about customer service as I went through a dealer for the tunes and could get what I needed pretty quickly. The trans tuning is the only thing I really didn’t like but definitely was happy with proven tuning. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with the 10spds for tuning.
6.7 Powestroke is a beast I’m running Proven with Ezlink on my 2012 I agree I had Chaos and Tyrant on my old SCTX4
Nice! Keep them coming! Love watching the towing videos!

Nice informative video, thanks . Looking into going compounds at some point soon
Get that SPE thermo and you’ll really love the numbers. My truck sits at 169-176 ECT and I’ve never seen over 189 TT
Getting ready to drop off mine at MPD for compounds and a stg1 trans, while I go on vacation 😜
That’s gonna be a long drug out vacation lol all I’d be thinking about would be getting back so I could drive it. What turbo are you going with?
Sure does sound good nice truck

@@deerturk88 yea it’s an insanely powerful truck for stock. I can pull a mtn loaded at basically any speed I want.
Ford did a awesome job when they built the 6.7. Than they brought it here to the US. It has been much better than the 6.0, 6.4 international for sure.

No I didn't. Do you mean for the 2nd turbo?
Did you have any problems out of the compound setup? I just order one for my 2017 f-250.
