Always enjoy watching. I have found if you grab both of the E bike hand brakes at the same time and pull back the wheel will not roll. And then you can place the front wheel in the hole with little to no effort. Which then allows you to pick the rear of the bike up. Worth a try. Thanks for all you guys do. God bless
Hollywood makes some decent racks IMO. Each brand has its pros/cons. I've had and EXTENSIVELY use a Kuat NV2.0 rack, often also employing a Kuat Pivot v2 (swing arm) for my Rad Rover ebike (w/ fenders!). I looked at 'em all and decided on Kuat and have no regrets. IMO by far the most ergonomically functional, ie least fussy rack. I especially like the "trays" used by Kuat which allow the front wheel to be lifted (rock bike back concurrent with grabbing the rear brake lever), place the front wheel on the tray, roll forward down the level, smooth tray/track while lifting the back end up and on until front wheel drops into front wheel cradle, clamp front wheel, backup velcro strap the front wheel, ratchet down rear wheel cinch strap and you're off! Taking the bike off is even easier, ie unclasp 3 attachments (NO unbolting...very simple), roll bike off. I load/unload bikes in a few SECONDS. Rack folds up/down/tilts with a single lever (foot or hand activated). 5 years and 100's of loading/unloadings, 1000's of miles (hwy, USFS roads, etc)....highly recommended. Pivot v2 addresses having the ability to swing the entire rack away from the vehicles back end for access to Sprinter's barn doors or my van's lift hatch....equally ergonomically efficient/practical.
I switched to the GMRS radios several months ago. My new radios (Midland GTx 1000's) are typical walkie talkie size and greatly exceed the range of my previous FRS radios. GMRS radios are line of sight so buildings, trees and mountains restrict distance but in tests, I was able to reach about two miles in a rural area but that included a small housing area and a woodlot. Clear line-of-sight would be better and the unit that Mike included in the video would likely preform better with the external antenna. I purchased a set of three radios so we can communicate when traveling with other RVers. Cost was around $100.
Bails of hay work great as an insulator. No need to plug in, no pumps/hoses, no crawling around on the wet ground, quiet, low cost, and much better for the environment. Where there is a will there is a way.
nor is it practical to haul bales of hay around with you on your cold weather adventuring. They also can get wet, muddy, moldy.....besides the animal (rodents, deer, elk, etc) attraction, fire risk, and not exactly moldable to the contours of RV's bottom
I have seen the dog collar and many of the delivery stops I have for Amazon. It is great. Because it allows the dog to run free in their own yard but keep them away from the Amazon driver.
I had that bike carrier on the back of my U24TB and switched to a Kuat Piston Pro X, it’s expensive but worth every penny. Loading and unloading is much easier.
Great choice to end with the containment system and all that Bo happiness! :)
Thanks! Loved the footage of Bo at the end! Such a cute puppy and beautiful dog!

I need something like that dog collar for my grandchildren, lol. My grandson is really bad about trying to run off so I keep a constant eye on him.

Very useful information. Thanks

I would be concerned with the fire hazard of bales of hay…spark from a campfire, etc.
I would be concerned about attracting rodents and inviting them to feast on my rv wiring, etc.

I've seen small cabins made from hay bales. Outstanding insulation and keeps temp indoors steady as can be.

That’s great!! Is the nomad internet the one that Verizon is coming out with??? Soon, I hope.

Great video, thank you!
Starlink now has an in motion version for RV. Price went up per month to $150 per month but you can still start and stop it as needed.
QUESTION: Don’t you have to have clear visual access to (illuminated) rear license plate? My wife was stopped for that. Thanks
I am afraid I was totally confused about the point of the mobile radio. Is it to be able to reach out for emergency help?
GMRS license is now 70$.
