    Only someone who has experienced hair loss (especially starting in their early 20s) knows what it feels like and how hard it is to deal with it. It sounds silly but it feels like a part of you is dying and if you had in sort of confidence in yourself, it starts to deteriorate the more the you lose hair. It really sucks. People who are not losing their hair just don't get it. They will tell you "Just shave your hair", "It's just hair" blah blah blah. In my opinion, those would be the folks who would take it the hardest if they lost their hair.

      @@shyman99 That's fair. But you shouldn't discount how people respond to something like this in such a smug way. And father figures and wise men are hard to come by since so many have been castrated metaphorically. I don't disagree with you though.

    Ye I've slowly been losing my hair over the years and I used minoxidil too for a bit just gave up with it in the end. It's the fringe thing that did it for me too, blowing all over the place and would genuinely make me ignore the situation I was in and who I was with and just focus directly on what people are thinking and trying to get out of the wing or rain.. goin in the pool etc was a no go. Last week I gave myself a bit of a buzzcut, not super short but got rid of my fringe and that alone has been a big relief and certainly made me more confident when I eventually shave it all off. I was so worried I'd get loads of people mentioning it but literally nobody mentioned it or looked at me funny. It's mad how it effects you mentally. Tbh I feel masculine af with shorter hair lol

    It is an identity issue and a belief that bald = no more s*xual market value.
    But it is a false belief. When I was younger I had a full head of hair and was meant to do modelling etc but was insecure as f**k.
    Now I'm bald I'm confident af, not because I'm bald, but because I just don't care. Women are attracted to internal emotional strength.
    You can be the best looking bloke in the world, full head of hair but if you're insecure she will get turned off by you.
    Also, I actually probably get more looks from women now weirdly. Or on dating apps, even younger women like 18-21.
    I'm sorry to be blunt but balding isn't the issue, it's the beliefs you have around it and the insecurity you're projecting.

    Best thing I have ever done, I had crown thining which in my view is the worst way to go bald because you don't see it but you know it's happening, I used to hate going into Next changing rooms as they have mirrors all round and I could see the ever growing patch, so decided to start buzzing it
    I went from a 2 to a 1 then to a 0 within a few months finally took the plunge and bought Remington skull shaver which cut very short but wasn't short enough as i loved being bald I then got headblade and absolutely love a shaved head and now proper shave every 2 days, why was I so worried.

Just stumbled over a video of a girl complaining about her boyfriend getting a buzzcut out of nowhere, and the comment section was really brutal, girls saying they straight up dumped their partner, saying they'd cry if they did that, that they lost interest in a crush after they went bald, etc. How am I supposed to tell myself it's all in my head when I see stuff like this in the regular?

    • @Baldcafe
      @Baldcafe  2 місяці тому +1

      They lost interest over their crush it's not you. Be someone worth being with. Get to know what attraction and masculinity is really about. read books about it. How to be a 3% man, Mode one, Models. Watch UA-cam videos about it like on PsyHacks and Mynonleatherlife. Get out of DM's and go talk to women, Don't fear rejection, use rejection as a form of rejection therapy. You have to have a level of self awareness to the point that you know your worth, tot he tent that no comment or rejection is the marker for how you ultimately feel about yourself. Rejection will always sting and have you asking questions but it is just a normal part of life hair or no hair. If having less hair makes it more difficult then so be it in my opinion. Overcome that difficulty and you'll be miles ahead of many others in so many ways.

    I was never insecure about my looks while I was younger. Women had interest in me, talked to me first, gave the same energy back, etc.
    Then in university I started balding and women lost all interest in me. It was the gateway to me getting blackpilled about looks. Men treated me the same (with respect) due to my physique, but women never liked me. Maybe it is good that it filters shallow women, but in my case, that was literally every single one in my life. Finding someone that is not shallow like that is nearly impossible in this modern fucked up lookist world.
    Then I started taking finasteride, dutasteride and minoxidil, started growing out my hair and got a french crop haircut. People started to stare at me while walking down the street and uni. My Tinder matches improved literally 20x (from 2 a month to 40+). It changed everything and ruined my view of people in general. I changed NOTHING else about myself. Just the shitty hair on my head. From being treated like a human to being treated like shit to human again.
    I saw how most of my balding friends broke up with their girlfriends and that was even more brutal. A few are still together, but they met while the guy already had hair and they actually built a connection over time that transcends looks. Everybody else is still single and going mostly for short term slays tho. It completely ruins your dating life unless you get lucky and find someone that is not so shallow AND you find attractive yourself.
    At the end of the day, It does not matter if you are not insecure about it. It does not matter if balding does not bother you. You have to compete with other men and you just lose, women have no interest in you, your dating life is a joke, etc. You can live just fine like that, but MGTOW is not for everybody. And not everybody wants to be in a relationship where the women has 0 physical attraction and just uses you for money or fame.

    • @OpinionatedChicken59
      @OpinionatedChicken59 29 днів тому +1

      I highly doubt that all women lost complete interest in you simply because you lost your hair, I think your own insecurity probably had a lot more to do with it. You can be attractive without hair, do you think women would reject a bald Chris Hemsowrth for Steve Buscemi with a full head of hair?

    • @user-qg9in8ji7w
      @user-qg9in8ji7w 29 днів тому +1

      You can have hair and still be unattractive to women due to other failos. Women would just reject both for some other third guy in this case.
      Chris Hemsworth with hair will always be more attractive than Chris Hemsworth without hair though.
      And yes, they lost interest because of the hair. Once I got regrowth I also got interest from them back. Seen it happen to everyone else in my situation.
      Dunno why people still cannot admit this. Bald men are universally regarded as ugly by women and unattractive. There is no such thing as an "attractive" bald guy. Maybe one in a billion exceptions like Jeremy Meeks (who was not even fully bald).

      The degree of hair loss doesn’t correlate to the distress felt.once it’s going it’s going. Once you feel anxious about it the only thing that reduces that initially is your confidence in how well you can hide the fact.
