Welcome to Ewout's story. In this video you will see a transition over 3 or so months. In part 1 Ewout and I have a talk about his hair loss began and how it has affected his young adult life.
In part 2 filmed a few moths after part 1 Ewout decides the time is right to fully accept that he is losing his hair and going to shave it off. He begins with the gradual approach going for a short sided buzz cut initially. Realising that he loves the look he fully commits to the 0 guard buzz cut and then joins me again in part 3 to talk about how the head shave went and how life has been after going bald.

Dude looks great bald (no homo). BTW have you done any videos on clearing up zits (or maybe it’s folliculitis, can’t tell)? I always seem to have a few on my head, even though I was my scalp thoroughly everyday

I'm 18 and I'm already bald. It started thinning last year but at this point it got out of hand. All men in the family (mom and dad sides) are bald or balding so genetics are definitely a reason but what really triggered it was family and school situations that caused a great amount of stress. It definitely damaged my confidence and self esteem but friends and family have been really supportive about me going bald. It still hurts being bald so young but you know I couldn't do much. This is the longest comment I've written but I needed to blow off steam.

Have you tried finasteride?
Buzz your hair first then slowly take it to a zero all the way.. That helped me ease into it.. Never looked back
Galleta Oreo you must feel bad man i can understand you even tho im not balding...keep your head up i know a guy that was bald to at 18 but the guy dont have any problem to get girls etc....stay strong and you will get over it its not that important

go take msm powder and vitamin C, it will detox your body and make your hair grows faster, and don't ever take whey protein, it will only make it worst

Hey baldcafe. Im 27 and noticed I was receding about 2 years ago. Ever since, Ive been taking a photo every 2 months to see its progression and it hasnt gotten worse since I noticed. Im glad Ive found your channel, if it gets really bad Im going to shave it off and just accept it for what it is. My hair was showing no sign of balding until a few months ago, there are nights I wake up during the night thinking about how in a few years time I will be bald and not by choice and this would make me upset. This channel has given me lots of confidence and a new outlook on something I can't help :)

@@anthonyt425 I have rocked the bald look now for 1.5 years and I must say that its the most confident I've ever been in my life. I should preface that I also started going to the gym again, train BJJ, returned to college, and started therapy. Good luck to all the Kings out there that are making the transition :)
I feel you man. January 2023 my hair was perfect. January 2024 I'm a Norwood 3 with thin and oily hair. My MPB must be the Mike Tyson of all MPBs lol. I don't think I can last until summer without buzzing it.

Ive been bald now for 6yrs, I had confidence issues at 1st, What the opposite sex thought of a bald man etc etc.. But I just thought get a grip lad, you do you & be proud of how you look.
I love my bald head now, I even get "Your face really suits a bald head".

It has been such an enormous drag, I have lost such an incredible amount of time thinking, contemplating, worrying and beating myself up over this. I'm 22 and my hair started thinning three years ago. I hated it and it made me incredibly insecure.
I'm ready now though. I'm done with thinking about it for the better part of every day.

And it has had 0.0 impact on my life. I've only had surprised looks and a few compliments here and there. That's it.
I will say my long lost Grindr profile is getting more attention than it did before.
As for myself, it took some double-takes whenever I would see my reflection. Nevetheless I'm getting used to it very quickly and rarely even think about it anymore. And it's only been 10 days!

I decided that I do want some hair on my head still one way or another, so I have stopped shaving my stubble and am going to try out for a beard.

Found this channel a couple weeks ago and I am so glad I did. I am 28 and have been losing my hair since I was 21. I have been hiding it for years with taking time to fix my hair a certain way and even using kerafiber on certain important events. This led me to have some serious anxiety at times going places knowing that I am hiding a whole bald spot on the verge on shaving it all not to deal with it anymore but just afraid at the shock it will have on people that don't even realize I am balding. So ready to advance my life and accept it but so scared for the reaction and to feel like I will just be ugly or something. This channel is growing the courage inside of me. Thanks man, one day.

I spoke to my girlfriend and she said I can fix it with a transplant but I don’t want to be spending that much at 20 years old and it’s threw my confidence off towards getting a buzz cos she might not like it
@@shaun5454 transplants aren’t good at this age, only good when you’ve basically lost all the hair you’ll lose, because they’ll fill in the spots you lost, so if you keep losing hair there’s nothing you can do about the new balding

Really helped me guys I started receding when I was 12 and by 18 or 19 I had a full McDonald’s M and it was so thin didn’t have the confidence to chat to girls or even leave the house without a hat but I shaved it all off recently and feel like a new man you guys have really helped me deal with my poor hair genetics much love

I’m 20 and I’m starting to lose some hair, (not much but i really don’t like this thing), and now I decided to shave my entire head and I really like it. It’s strange, but also cool. I just shaved my head yesterday. I am 23 and it was receding so fast and had this island of hair up front. for years I was so upset with it and continued to wear hats. Im happy I did it. im ok with it
absolutely agreeing on that "knowing it's an option thing". i'm 23 and my hairline is receding slowly for the past couple of years (my hair is still pretty thick though). since my dad's basically bald it made me really nervous, so i shaved it all down to 1mm and voila, my head can rock that buzz cut pretty damn well! gonna grow it out again but now i'm much more confident if it ever gets to a point where i would have to shave it off

Being close to 50, I had some time to accomodate to the prospect of counting hair numbers backwards ;) I'm using the Corona time now for the gradual approach, just to see what I might like. I've just shaved my head at 22. First 6mm then 3mm and then went full on 😁... An except for two cuts 😂 I think I look.allright and can accept my destiny. Altough I might go back to 6mm for the time being. Good to know I look GOOD w/o hair though :D THANK YOU this is very liberating
