- Hey my lovely friends, this week has been a very interesting week. The gun threat was completely unexpected. It made me realize to enjoy every moment in life. I took a two week break from UA-cam, but now I am back! It has been very difficult to get into a routine due to lots and lots of homework... but ill be here more often because one of my 2023 goals was to reach a certain level of following! I actually took all of my prerequisites before applying so I actually start in October because I took anatomy, chemistry sociology, all those classes and then I’m gonna be starting with the second your students hopefully doing like actual dental classes. Congratulations though I am so happy I came across this video. I have been looking for videos just like this.

i wanna be a dental hygienist and im in hs! what exactly are prerequisites and do you take these classes in hs or in college?
@chaeffected2711 A prerequisite means a course or other requirement that a student must have taken prior to enrolling in a specific course or program. You take prerequisites classes in college. They could be anything like math, English, chemistry etc. Talk to a counselor at the college on which program you want to take and then they'll give you a map of which classes (prerequisites) to start taking so that you can get into your program of choice (dental hygienist).

Hii, in the dental hygiene program, do you all just focus on prerequisites such as chemistry and anatomy? Or they teach also teach you dental hygiene work?
