I am on my first day with both Wellbutrin and Straterra. Wellbutrin day 70 Straterra day 1. I have yet to feel anything different. If I am not happy in 3 weeks I will ask my doctor to go to Adderall.

On my fourth day and just feeling slight changes and from the information expect to pay attention later as they state it takes 14 days to smooth the effects to a base line. While waiting there will be bumps and sensations as it starts to change brain chemistry. I have just weened off epilim as a mood stabilizer. I felt flat, robotic and emotionless. I feel energetic again and it's wonderful. I have had depression and anxiety for years and I am about 2 weeks away from being medication free. I am so excited to be myself again! I was considering strattera as an option. Thank you for posting this. I can see it's not for me. My ADHD husband took it and it wasn't for him either. He takes ritalin which works best for him.

I just got accepted into two schools but i cant decide between being close to home, better location and nicer school or going with my best friend thats further from home. Feel like itd be very fun to do with someone I already know, but im not a fan of the location.

I feel like going to a school where I already know someone to start would be fun, but do you think itll be fine to be further away from school to be with a friend?

Hello. I just needed some guidance since I already paid on taking my two courses pit and fissure sealant course and coronal polishing course in November and December to become a RDA. Do you think it would be too much if I wanted to go back to a community college this fall semester to finish my GE classes and start my prerequisites to get into a Hygiene program? Or do you recommend I take everything slowly?

I agree but also I will say it depends on the office you’re at. I worked in places with both types. My first dental job was a nightmare. I cried because I spent so much money just to find out that it might not be for me. If I would’ve given up at that point I would’ve never got the opportunity to find out how great this career could be, as long as your where you are valued. I’m lucky to say I have worked with some doctors who I consider my family. Some I wouldn’t spit on if they were on fire. I have been super busy and had doctors help me turn my rooms over, help with sterilization even though it’s my job to do notes, I have some who will do them especially if it was a long day. I have had some reach out to me after a long day and maybe I didn’t get a break just to say thank you so much for everything you do. Buy lunch because we ran over . It’s like a coin toss. But if you have paid for school and things something you really like, don’t give up. Find your place. You have to find the right fit for you. I have been doing it for 15 plus years and I love what I do. I personally prefer working in community health. For me it’s very rewarding. I don’t care for private because I’m not a fan of being a sales person. I would rather focus on helping to improve and educate patients on oral health. Then you have so many different types specialties as well. Ortho, Pero, Prosto Endo, Pedo. It might not work for everyone kinda like nursing. You have to love what you even on the days that kick your butt. For me I love building relationships and trust with my patients. It’s not an easy job but if you find your right dental home it can be rewarding ❤ Know your worth. XOXO
