I agree with you 💯 %. I am a newer grad and have been working at different clinics doing working interviews, I get no lunch breaks or even a 15 break to drink water or eat. After 3 months of working like this with no breaks or food,I am suffering extreme dehydration and exhaustion. I’ve had to quit and I want to leave the industry. They don’t treat you like a human being. Many clinics don’t give breaks if they can get away with it. They will take advantage of you as much as they can. The dental assistants had to do the doctors notes for each patient every day on top of all of our duties along with chart audits at the end of the shift when we are supposed to go home. Working 10 hours a day, getting up at 5am working till 6pm and having to do computer work after your shift, this will completely burn you out and make you unwell in the end. Please don’t allow these greedy people to treat you this way.
I understand you, some offices are horrendous. They take advantage of DA and that isn't okay. I am sorry to hear that you got no lunch breaks. Be patient and stand your ground. Eventually you will find an office that'll appreciate you. Best of luck on everything

yess all of this is so true 🥲 i can relate especially being new at an office it feels like you’re everyone’s target if they ever want to blame someone for smth they’ll choose you for being new 🙄 but yes would love to hear about those dental stories 🤝
I feel like although this is true .but just dont settle for an office you're not comfortable with or apriciated at.because there are alot of really great dentists ,offices and team members out there.just dnt settle for just anyoffice.
