@ttvidvisual if the fish are where you're at you dont need to wait too long with a bobber. If you're waiting a half hour with no bites, move on down the river a little ways. Not enough patience will kill a fisherman but too much patience can also be a bad thing (wasting 5 hours fishing a spot with no bites 😂)
There is nothing like it. I love fishing artificial stuff, but when you just want to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, bobber fishing is the best way to go. When I am out in my dad's boat, I know he is watching over me, but I feel like he is right there in the boat with me....the same boat I learned how to fish in years ago.
There's nothing better, especially in winter when deadbaiting for pike!! Hot coffee in your hand and you see the bobbers going on their journey!!! A special nature experience!!👍👍
great video I love bobber fishing i also bottom fish as well I got a couple of rattlin pear rattling crappie bobbers from public lands and they work very well especially when I was fishing in fredonia Ohio the bluegill and especially the largemouth bass go nuts for them as soon as they hear that rattle it's fish on and probably caught over 50 fish this year by using those bobbers
Fishing with the Float makes up all kinds of thoughts in your mind of what's gonna BITE or go on take it " theres a nice fat worm for you & of course so so relaxing.
Yes. Technically that's a float, bobbers are round. Floats are much better because they cut through the water with way less resistance than a round bobber. I've caught thousands of fish using float. Float starts to move, it may not even go under but when the line starts to tighten up you know to set the hook. You never know what you can catch on a crawler and float.
Cool watching it go I've caught some good ones on them also lost some big ones on them only bad thing in Florida if a gator sees the bobber it will bring them to you only thing I watch for here then it messes up all my fishing
Here in the Philippines we are bobber fishing on ponds using bamboo rod me and my friend will always go bobber fishing and tilapia's are common here in the Philippines we always get tilapia while fishing because if you manage to get a cat fish is lucky cause catfish here are not common they are hard to catch
I wish I could get close-ups with this clarity on my bobber-downs. Salmon hit HARD so that bobber completely disappears. Come see for yourself on my channel! Thanks for sharing.
I like fishing for bass. But when my daughter comes with me (she's 4) it's float fishing or nothing. She loves watching for that bobber to jerk under. She thinks the panfish are prettier too lol, she's right I reckon, bass do look kinda bassy 😂
Typically you have pieces of rubber that slide tight over both stick ends. Your fishing line will be inside the 'hole' of the rubber keeping the tension. You will also need at least 1 small split shot or multiple very small split shots with these types of bobbers to keep them upright and also adjust the depth of the bait/beads you're using. Guys here in the great lakes river systems use these mainly especially for steelhead and salmon
I’m sure I’m doing it wrong but I’ve copied so many tutorials and different methods of bobber fishing in streams, lakes and ponds and never caught a single fish or let alone a single bite. Anyone in oregon wanna teach/show me what I’m doing wrong?😅
Same tbh I've spent well over 100 and nothing I've just started using bread in hope to catch bluegills or catfish,... works but takes 2 hrs to even get a bite lol
There have been nights I went to bed and dreamed seeing that cork go down after a good day of fishing! There's nothing like it!
Same
Same man
Me too
Fr
No way I thought I was the only one
I’m not a bobber type fisherman but I must say it’s so satisfying when you finally see the bobber start moving.
What’s the difference between with or without?
@@Jar.Jo.Binx96mostly you use bobbers to suspend your bait or lure
Fr I just don't have a lot a patience

Great story.
Sorry for you loss
My dad prepared fishing stuff but never got to use it due to his sickness. I fish alone and taught myself alone
Bobber fishing is so peaceful, IMO.

Watching bobbers is therapeutic!
I love bobber fishing. Especially in rivers for large trout. 🎣
being alone with bobber all those years like a privilege 🎉
I’m a river trout fishermen so the only bobbers that I use are indicators for fly fishing. But they do seem cool
Sometimes when all else fails. The bobber and your bait of choice will work when nothing else does.

I love all fishing from sea, to river with fly and worm but there is a special place in my heart for seeing that float go down!

Absolutely if i don't get an hit i can always pop an bobber and an good old nightcrawler and always get an hit
When all else fails…. You can always depend on that bobber with an earthworm underneath it
Do you just like that feeling when the bobber goes down into the water and moving, it makes my heart beat

Origins of hypnosis ? Fixation on the float
I love it. Simple, easy, and that’s what I learned on anyways, so it’s a little bias!
Once i was fishing with a friend and for a joke he put his hook in the water without any bait and when he gets it up it had a minnow on
yes one of the best feeling when you see it go under
We call it float fishing in England. But yes, it’s an amazing feeling to watch it go under.
Yes I live it

That water is so still. It’s been so windy recently I forgot what this looks like
