@@deftoner718 If you haven't already, look into ASIO drivers. Personally, I have ASIO4ALL v2 installed and it lowers latency quite a bit.

I've not used the turbo. But visibly, the main difference is that the Nitro has an actual bass drum head whereas the turbo has only the pedal. The presence of bass drum makes a whole lotta difference and is more realistic than just using the pedal.

Great freaking job bro ! I’m new to electronic drum kits. Really thinking of buying this set but I just have a question so sorry if I sound like a noob ! would I be able to play this without headphones and I can still hear the noise or I would have to inject headphones to hear the noise ? And is this set able to connect to a speaker via aux cord ? And Bluetooth? Great job on the cover by the way you killed it.
you can either connect headphones or speakers through aux cable. No option for bluetooth though. Also, the kit doesn't come with any speakers.

This is how I did it. I can't guarantee you that this will work for you. I have got mixed feedback regarding this approach. Another option is to record MIDI onto a DAW.

Headphones? Can you tell me how to record and play along the music ? I.e equipments used
Music can be played in through the aux cable input. And use a splitter to connect both headphones and another aux cable on the output. And I record it on Audacity. And then I mix the song and the drum audio that was recorded

gabe6841 I have this kit and it's really good. The one thing I struggle with is how thick the rims are with the toms and snares. When I try to fill, I always hit those and I'm trying to get the right positioning for it. But other than that, really easy and fun to play!
It's a pretty good kit. You should definitely go for it. Like the other comment, the rim thickness can be a problem when you start with it. But I'm sure you'll get used to it and soon stop hitting the rim at all.

How do you record through your phone?
I use an aux cable and record on the voice recorder app on my phone. Need a microphone splitter for the phone to detect that it's a voice input rather than a headphone.

There is no speaker on the kit. It needs an external source for sound.

You get what you pay for. And with this kit, I always felt that I got more than what I paid for. It's been around a year now, it's still doing a decent job.

A lot of difference. You feel restricted because of the small drum heads and compact design. The cymbals doesn't feel natural since they are mostly rubber pads. The drum heads feel natural because this kit has mesh heads.

Great cover. I ll ask a few questions if u dont mind regarding the kit. Do all 3 cymbals have choke function? How is the rim sound from the snare? Can u hear the difference in volume when hitting lower and harder? After over a year of use how are the components? Thanks in advance
Only one cymbal has choke function. The rim sound is not that great, you can apply different sounds to it and experiment. Yes, the sound varies depends on how hard you hit it. I haven't faced any issues yet after more than 2 years of usage. Sorry for the late response.
