  • Hyderabadi Palak Gosht Recipe:
    Ingredients:
    • Mutton (Gosh) - 400 Grms
    • Palak (Spinach Leaves) - 10 bunch
    • Methi - 1 Bunch
    • Hari Mirchi (Green Chillies) - 2 to 3 Pcs
    • Adrak- Laison (Ginger Garlic) Paste - 1 Table spoon
    • Tel (Cooking oil) - 2-3 Table Spoons
    • Pyaz (Onions) - 2 Medium Size (sliced)
    • Lal Mirchi (Red Chili) Powder - 1 Tsp
    • Haldi(Turmeric) Powder - (1/2) Tsp
    • Namak (Salt) - 1 Tsp ( According To Taste)
    • Garam Masala Powder - 1Tsp
    • Pani (Water) - 1/2 Cup
    Procedure:
    o Cut the palak (Spinach) in small pieces, as shown in video.
    o Wash the palak (Spinach) and soak it in water and keep aside.
    o Now wash the methi and soak it in water and keep aside.
    o Now In a Pressure Cooker add oil
    o When Oil becomes hot, add sliced pyaz (onions) and saute till it becomes soft (not golden brown).
    o Now add ginger garlic paste and saute it for 10-12 sec.
    o Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt, saute it for 10-12 sec.
    o Now add mutton and mix it well, and cook it until mutton color changes.
    o When the oil separates, add water and let it boil and mix properly, close the pressure cooker lid and keep it on medium flame to take 3 whistles or until mutton gets tender.
    o Now open the pressure cooker lid (when its pressure is all gone), mix it.
    o Now add palak (Spinach), mix well and close the pressure cooker lid and keep it on medium flame to take 1 whistle.
    o Now open the pressure cooker lid (when its pressure is all gone), mix it.
    o Now add methi leaves and sliced green chilies, mix well.
    o Now add garam masala powder mix properly.
    o Now close the lid and keep it on a low - medium flame cook it till the oil releases and water dries, by mixing it in regular intervals
    o Now the Palak Gosht is ready to dish out.
    o Serve it with roti, chapatti, paratha or rice.
