I lived in the Cayman Islands as an expat, they're about the same/similar size of Bermuda yet also have a pretty successful airline. Honestly its really well run, they have a fleet of a few 737-8's for longer flights to replace some older 737's and an express fleet of Twin Otters and a Saab-340 to run flights between the islands.
Excellent video about an exciting new airline! It was nice they welcomed you so warmly at the check-in gate, and they recognized you! Glad you were included on this inaugural flight!

Thanks for answering my question. I kind've wish that they stuck with this seating configuration or at the very least offer a split service - one with more conventional seating and the other with full first class service for a higher price. The E175 for a regional jet is actually extremely comfortable considering its size. For a while there it was my favorite jet to fly. I'm really hoping this works out but still think that they missed a trick here by going full first class. Also, kind've curious, will they be getting more aircraft in the fleet or will they have to shutdown service for a bit while the aircraft are being retrofitted?

If I had a choice I’d definitely pick a cheaper ticket with the current seating. You right, for a 2hr flight they were more than adequate. But I don’t know much about aviation and all that so I try not to pass judgement. Just wishing them the best because i’d rather have an expensive option than no option at all.
I hear they’re open to the possibility of launching additional routes and/or scheduling charter flights to places like Halifax but no solid plans yet
So much for the all business calss model! Guess they saw the value in the regular folks money as well! Flying them in 3 weeks

Long story short: construction hasn’t started quite yet but the plans are approved. Scheduled to reopen in 2026 or 27. Check back in a few weeks! I’m actually planning a video on that.

I see that the flights arrives at Terminal E in Boston which is the terminal use for international flights. Do you still clear US Customs in Bermuda?

great to be on the first flight .... but .... yeh ... they need to work their timings a bit better so you can enjoy the facilities of the lounge etc
I don’t really know how much flexibility the airlines have with their departure times or who makes those decisions. It’s probably a complicated answer but, ya, seems strange to board at 730 when the airport don’t open til 7

This is a brutal industry. BermudaAir needs to find other direct locations to fly in order not to compete with other airlines. Nice to see Bermuda at least access to the Azores, which Bermudians can use it as a transit hub to many locations across Europe for a fraction of the cost of other airlines. British Airways for example is a rip off...I went to London using Azores Airlines and paid $80 dollars to fly to London from the Azores. Total price roundtrip was $890. Also, went to France via the Azores...total price round trip $990. Remember Azores Airlines is not the flag carrier of Portugal.
Hello omar please why is it so difficult to travel to Bermuda directly from Africa. Is it a must to get a UK or USA transit visa before I can come to Bermuda?

The best compliment I can give is that it felt like a premium airline. It didn’t feel cheap or unsafe at all. Everyone was friendly and professional
