Funny story, my dad got a first class seat for free once. He was coming home (idk where from) and there was this guy in front of him who was being ratty, like, so bad they were going to divert the flight and have him arrested. My dad, being in the sleep deprived state he was, grabbed him from behind and shouted “SIT DOWN AND SHUTUP” bro was quiet the rest of the flight 💀 My dad got a free first class flight out of it, and it was exactly like this. He’s the only person (from close family) who’s ever been on a first class flight. ✈️ Love you dad
I'm a frequent traveller but am mostly stuck with Easyjet, BA, KLM, and Aer Lingus. Best I've ever flown was Virgin Atlantic's premium economy and once a very dated first class with American Airlines. Seeing these flights you're taking regularly is definitely motivation for me to up my earnings and fly a bit more opulently! Keep it up, love your stuff!
I remember when you had 23k subscribers. The quality was already so high that it was incompatible to the number of subscribers. And still is! I mean, Trek Trendy literally set the bar on a different style of UA-cam Channel by paying (investing) serious cash on very unique routes that points and miles alone can't bring you. This is very bold and entrepreneurial. I think most people don't realize the amount of effort and financial risk to get this kind of job done. Bravo sir. I am a huge fan and would love to see a video where you could explain your thought process, sharing figures and strategies as well as tips for very small channels like mine to get to the next level. Not to mention you have a beautiful family you bring along with you and great English vocabulary for describing flavors, destinations and amenities. You got the full package. Congratulations! 🙏🏼❤️
Subscribed to your channel not long ago and started binge watching your videos. I don't know how you do it, but you film in a way that makes me feel I am there, in the atmosphere and all of the ship, train or plane. That is so special for people like me who will never get to experience these things first hand. You should have 10 million subscribers, you are a joy to watch, when I feel down, I watch one of your vids and feel uplifted. I also love when you bring your parents and girlfriend, such great people.
I NEVER get tired of seeing these, even when some videos are similar. I would never be able to travel this way, so I am truly living vicariously through you. Thank you!
Great to see you back in the sky Will, and in what style. Camel kofta though, that is really taking one for the team! Terrific trip and filming as always. Thanks
Camel meat is yummy but hard to come by. It's probably more tasty and great if you like the taste of wild already. I'll be more thankful to be served like this. 😅
He may instead be using points for the journey. There are still really rewarding mileage redemptions out there. There are alot of UA-camrs that “say” they paid top dollar for these seats but, they either got a cheap upgrade paying cash or using their miles. I wouldn’t put it past him if he initially purchased Economy and upgraded from there. I’ve done that plenty of times on overseas flights before. Why pay top dollar for these seats when you can often find a better deal just waiting for a cheap upgrade offer? As a matter of fact, a First Class flight between Taipei and Dubai can cost at a maximum of 75,000 to 150,000 Air Canada miles to fly on it with Emirates. He’s probably listing the price because it can best be used for reference for the actual retail price for the journeys. You can get a better deal with your Air Canada miles on Etihad because I don’t believe they do have their own separate award ticket pricing unlike Emirates so the Etihad flight could actually be cheaper.
Wow! This is incredible! Trek Trendy, you live the high life! Flying in First Class for 24 hours sounds amazing. That Residence Suite looks unreal. A private shower, bedroom, and living room on a plane? Who needs a hotel? I would love to see more of the food options on the flights. Especially the caviar service and the camel Kofa. And that champagne selection sounds delightful! This trip must have cost a fortune, but it looks like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thanks for taking us along with you!
You’ve excelled yourself on this one Will. Absolutely beautiful flights, interiors and experience. Thank you for taking me along on the journey. Cheers mate.
Who can afford $500 an hour? Then again, for such a unique experience and fine food, it's not entirely out of reach at all. Thanks for another very slickly produced and well-edited adventure! As an American reference for what it means to fly 4000 miles, LA to New York is a mere 2400 miles. You covered a lot of ground.
I must say how refreshing to get to see meals OTHER than boring old beef! I know it’s your trip, your money, your choice but seeing what people eat on these first class flights is the most enjoyable part of the video for me. I love seeing you travel in ways I never will be able to afford so thank you for branching out and letting us see other menu options! This makes the video so much more interesting and not so terribly predictable. Hey, maybe you would even try a vegan meal one of these days? I sure would love to see that! 🎉. I honestly dont understand who the target market is. If someone can afford that kind of flight, why dont they just charter a private jet?
A private jet is at an entirely different price point. For example to fly the last leg you'd be looking at 80-100k vs 5k on Etihad@@JulietVenne
