I’d build a bath house to save your floors. That way you have an outdoor space to use the restroom without tracking water into the house.

The just sanded them down and used same product as floor!

Floors are ALWAYS expensive.
Edit: but if you did the WHOLE house it's not bad at all. For 1,000 sq feet it's $16,000 here. I don't know where you live, but that's really not bad and it's worth it. You'll see.
